- This is a down scaled version of the chicken korma recipe in my cookbook 'The Curry Guy'. This curry house BIR portion should serve one to two people. It's really easy to make as are most curry house style recipes.

Lovely stuff, some people knock a Korma, but sometimes it's just what's needed!
I've had your red book for over 2 years and have made this Korma countless times. I love to tweak it with a bit more coconut powder and a little honey. I used to add rose water but I don't anymore. My family thinks it tastes much better than any takeaway version!
Great to hear Andy. Thank you. π
Just made a large batch of the base curry sauce, spice stock and mixed powder ready. Had your book for a few months but this is the first time I've done anything with it. The base sauce immediately reminds me of the smell when I step through the door of my favourite curry house in Spain. I'm impressed and haven't actually cooked a curry yet!
Thank you very much Simon. π
I love how you are cooking Indian food and playing Chinese music in the background awesome :)
I just liked the tune. Thanks Tony. π
looks amazing and kid friendly
Nice work Dan!
Thanks so much for the video. I will certainly be trying this one.
Thank you very much Julie. π
My curry house always has realy soft chicken in the korma (falls apart) how do they do this?
Got your book as a present a few weeks ago. Cooked nothing but curries for dinner since. Super easy, authentic BIR flavours and consistency, and quite after the (large) outlay in initial ingredients/spices from Sparkhill, Bham.
Thank you very much Daniel. Great to hear you are enjoying the book.π
Hi, I've got your book and cooked this from scratch as it told me to but I want to get it alot more creamy, as I love my Kormas really creamy, how do I do that?
Good to see you videos back on RUclips Dan. My new curry guy light came the other day. Well happy. I have your full set now.
Thank you very much Daz. I will be filming a lot from the light book soon. π
@@DanToombs that will be good Dan. Hope you will be back on RUclips with your weekly videos so I can watch your channel hit 100,000+ subscribers and your amazing cooking videos.
Incredible! I made this with everything except the rose water, and it tasted exactly like my local takeaway curry house! I'll have to be careful not to make this every night now, it's just way too easy to eat all of it at once!
Is there anything else lower calorie I could replace the sugar with, like stevia or erythritol?
