I used to appear on search really often, but the amount of competition has made it so hard to be relevant again. I've changed keywords, worked on SEO, worked on my images, worked on niching, but it seems that only the most selling shops are appearing on the top of etsy search. Any video you could recommend me to watch?
I tried free shipping on my stickers and it worked well for a while until Black Friday 2020 when my first 3 orders had stickers and watercolor paint and the entire order shipped free. It didn’t work that way with past orders so I had to turn it off because I could not afford to offer free shipping on all orders.

Hi I’m a newbie to Etsy selling and I’ve created some digital images ready to upload to my Etsy shop but it won’t allow me to upload as pdf yet I thought that should be okay ?
Sorry you're having trouble, Keeley! This sounds like a technical issue best addressed to Etsy support. But converting a PDF file into a compatible format might fix the issue ☺️ hope this helps! - L
Excuse me.. but when you're saying that i'm trying to sell too many different things to too many different people - what do you mean? I can't draw in one style only; once i like candy sweet, other time i draw from nature, and there are artworks that are completely dark in style. I do what i feel, not focusing on for e.g drawing only birds or floral patterns. This is too hard for me to pick one and go in one direction.

This is really helpful, thanks so much! One question for you -> is there any negative impact in editing an existing listing in terms of it's ranking? I've learned a lot from your videos and would want to make some tweaks (e.g., more benefits in description, not repeating keywords, etc.) but not sure if it's better to just create a new listing for this? Thanks!
Not that I know of, Ben! But don't make too many edits too quickly; you want to be able to track the changes & results. We discuss this further in our new Etsy SEO course www.hq.tizzit.co/etsy-seo-blueprint/ - L
What I do is copy the listing and make a few changes to the new one, and set the original to manual relist so if it doesn’t sell in 4 months it’s only .20 lost. I’ve heard from another Etsy coach this resets Etsys ranking. I take a look at the stats and make sure to always leave any keywords that are getting it found.
