A CRAZY FISHING TRIP fishing A CRAZY FISHING LURE !!

In this fishing video I’m fishing a swamp in the middle of the woods. The fishing lure/bait I’ve rigged to fish top water and the fish we’re eating it up. There’s some crazy things happened on this fishing trip and mentally it was a very tough day of fishing.

😂😂 That was a Bob Sellers type of day if I’ve ever seen one! I’d say one of my worst experiences (outside of stepping on a snake) was when I was dragging my loaded kayak and I don’t know how many pounds of gear across an old pier and a board broke and I went through it up to my knee. I was blessed I didn’t break my leg, but I carried that bruise for nearly a year. I walk where the nails/screws are now!!! I love that creek fishing. I have a spot or two like that that I’ve fished all my life. I’ve never heard of a scaly catfish.

Have those days quite often myself, especially crappie fishing in 30mph winds with a 10’-12’ jig pole. Makes me wanna throw in the towel sometimes. Thanks for sharing with us.🎣🎣🎣🎣

Stepping in that hole is a perfect way to break a leg, I've about broke mine in the exact same way , I did mess up my knee though, still bothers me to this day, and that was 45 years ago. Started watching your videos after I seen you fishing with the Machine.

The hook issue is why everyone is quitting EWG hooks. The point has too small of an offset gap in relation to the hook eye. A straight shank hook solves this problem. I highly recommend you look into them. 👍

Elastic z man baits are hard to fish weedless and get a hook set. Had the same problem last week. That's the way real fishing goes. Maybe a stiffer rod makes the difference.
