What about a good BBQ sandwich with cole slaw on it?
I'm chuckling about the lack of a few crappie fillets because, well, I've surely been there.
I'm telling you what that flathead was pretty. The perfect camouflage pattern for an ambush hunter. That fish was healthy.
I've noticed the fish in the upper half of the Tennessee River from Wilson Dam all the way upstream through Knoxville to the Forks of the River all look very good. I haven't really seen much of the lower half to have an opinion.
The water quality has improved tremendously since the 1980s. Very noticeably so to someone who spent 25 years away and not fishing it. Ft. Loudon Lake, my home lake, is still called dirty but It is nothing like the 1970s. Perhaps the moniker of "dirty" isn't as deserved as it once was.
Rocky, you and that other old man (I'm older than both of you.) from Alabama make this old East Tennessee boy hate Washington state.
Well, you all and a few other things. lol
