To launch Lorraine's search for our Inspirational Woman of the Year for 2018, Royal Marine Mark Ormrod wanted to thank and pay tribute to the woman who saved his life in 2007 after he stepped on an explosive device in Afghanistan. He's nominating Wing Commander Charlotte Thompson-Edgar after she and her team saved Mark’s life and she in turn pays tribute to him, saying he is a true inspiration to those who have suffered similar injuries.

Whilst remembering the bravery of these troops and commiserating their families, it would be ignorant and foolish not to also temper this sadness and respect with suitable rage and fury aimed at the corrupt politicians and their corporate masters that ultimately start these wars for profit.
Someone please answer in the replies what the actual cause for war in afgahnistan and Iraq was? and then continue with how it went.
Lets also try and remember back a couple of years ago at the ridiculous withdrawal from afgahnistan and the hundreds of millions of dollars of equipment that was left for the taliban to utilise.
Iraq, Syria, afghanistan and now Ukraine, all with hundreds of thousands left dead, destroyed infrastructure and corporate shill governance in place.
The Military Industrial complex thanks you for your service (or not, as the case may be)
