I am replacing the tie rods on my 2007 Mini R56, but cannot duplicate this procedure on the drivers side inner tie rod as it is recessed into the steering box shaft / housing and no wrench or special tool can be inserted into this space. How did you do the drivers side? and if it was done, why was it not recorded or mentioned it is different? Thanks in advance for your help.

If you use the tie rod tool do you have to use the crimping pliers
that car has a worn out lower control arm rear bushing when you were torquing the wheels
