at 6:40, you're missing an important step (IMHO). The master cylinder reservoir cap has to come off and most likely some fluid siphoned out if it was topped off at any point since the last time brakes were done. If not, the fluid will overflow out of the tank (or spray out through holes in the cap) and cause a mess, including possible damage to paint under the hood because brake fluid destroys paint. The opening should be surrounded with rags to absorb any spilled fluid.
You mention a T30 to remove the rotor screw. In my 2013 Mini Cooper hatchback it was actually a T47. Also, you seem to forget to put the rotor screw back on. Finally, it would be good to remind viewers that the pads are not all the same. The ones made for the sensor are slightly more protuberant, and should be placed on the side closest to the engine.
I never put grease or anti seize on brake calipers or components, but since you did that on the one side, and then used the wire wheel on the other side, the debris would have collected into the grease and contaminated it before you put the pads into the bracket. Any liquid, whether grease or anti seize, will continue to collect debris from the moment it is added causing premature wear. That's my only criticism. I do appreciate the video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for clear, concise video. These are very useful for part time DIYers who need a reminder before starting a job:) btw who uses new caliper bracket bolts and guide pin bolts? That’s what Mini Haynes manual says in uk.
Taking them rusty calliper bolts out and hoping they don’t just snap scares me. No copper grease when putting back together?? Other than that great video. Thanks

This is the best ASMR video I have ever felt 😊
Great video! My stepson just got a Mini, and it needs front pads and rotors. I was hopeful that the job wouldn’t be too involved.

Do you need to bleed the brakes after changing? You took the cap off of the bleed bib but didn’t do anything with it unless I missed it.

Simple and straightforward video! Awesome thank you
Through..precise..easy to follow..thanks man!
Very clean and professional job.
If you don’t have a calliper spreader woodworking clamps do a excellent job

What about the T30 screw from the disc? how much is the torque on it?
And did the cc id 071 pilot turn off? I see you used the same brake sensor, like knowing it's not damaged?
What happen if u just, replace de brake sensor?
Whats the torque rating for the T30/Disk retention bolt?
hi. what size would be the front and rear rotors for 09 cooper s?. thanks in advance.
Does the brake light go off after a certain amount of miles after replacing brakes?
Don’t you have to bleed the brakes ?
