This channel needs many thousands of followers. Good, honest advice that's 100% useful for everyone. Not only high end sharpeners and gear just true knife information for everyone. Good job brother keep it up.
I think it was Neeves knives who posted a video on ways to upgrade the worksharp fixed blade system, but the biggest tip he had was he wedged a little thing between the table and the clamp, which fixed the wiggling issue u touched on at the beginning of this video. I think he even links to where u can buy the exact thing he uses, although I’m sure anyone could just measure it and get a little square cube of wood to those dimensions at like Home Depot or at home if they’ve got the right tools for the job. Hope that helps bc I love my work sharp, I even got the upgraded addition for it, which to my surprise didn’t really improve it that much
Thanks brother! I wanted to add more to it but didn’t want to make it too long and boring! When it comes to sharpening there is just so much to learn and explain and I’d be hours trying to explain everything! I’ll definitely do more sharpening tips videos though! I might turn it into a series 😁
U definitely gained a new subscriber keep up the quality content. Can’t believe u could get basically a mirror polish on your edge with just the Lansky and a good stropping
Thanks for subscribing, welcome to the fam! And yes its pretty crazy right, not to mention those are aluminum oxide stones being used to sharpen a super steel which is definitely not practical (way too much work)! But thats how I got to where I’m at today with my sharpening skills! Practice, repetition, determination and patience! You take those things and add them to being on a tight budget and you learn how to make what you have work for you! Once I bought my KME with their Gold Series Diamond Stones, it was game over!
If you want to go the guided system route, The KME is by far the best you can get for the money and its expandable so you will never be limited to what you can do because of the system. The only cheaper system id recommend is the lansky but that is alot harder to use and get good results with. If you want to learn freehand id recommend some kind of tristone setup like the smiths tristone. If you click any of my newer videos theres a amazon link for the KME and other stuff that I personally use and think is good!
I throw mine in a vise. But my zt308 refuses to get razer sharp. Get a decent edge using medium course, then finish with fine but can run finger over and it feels smooth not sharp yet can take hit of fingernail off when score.

You done a beautiful job on this one! One of my favorites... Have a good one Sean
Thank you brother! You do the same!
7:00 preach! I have done that. Not made sure the burr was complete down the blade and then wondered why I could not get the entire edge evenly sharp.
Me too man me too! Now I always make sure I have a complete burr across the entire edge before I ever flip it!
A patient man is a virtuous man. Great advice!💯 Left me all pumped up with the cut test. Good tutorial.👊🏼

The Lansky system is great! I love mine and it's cool to hear some new tips. Great video 👍
Thanks brother!
Great video. 👍
Thanks brother!
Try putting your hand behind the blade/object on close ups to help the camera focus. Keep working at it. Good work
The smok Nord 2! Best vape IMO
It actually finally went up on me and I got the new Nord, I think the new ones better!
Yo, what sharpening tools do you recommend for a beginner? Where to start?

Bro… this is a video 4 months ago lol. I’ve only been making videos for 6 months. No shit it isn’t the greatest after only 2 months.
