    It's a 50 yrd PCC rifle, and you need a scope??😳

    • @BROTUNED
      @BROTUNED  3 дня назад +3

      I didn’t think an accuracy test with a red dot sight would represent what the carbine could do. With the scope for the accuracy part of the test I had an accurate and precise aim point so the results are the inherent accuracy of the rifle itself not shooter error plus rifle. Just trying to see what it could do you would never run it like this in the field obviously ha ha cheers sir!

    You can transfer the mag release button to the other side and press it with your index finger. Way faster

    It's a bolt catch not a bolt release... you can only use the charging handle

      Ya I want very pleased with it but it’s not really a precision carbine. It’s good for what it’s m ant to do

    The sub2k with the mcarbo red dot mount isnt too bad even tho alot of people hate it i cant complain, these weren't even out yet but definitely like the side fold and mag holding capability

  • @markthibault8579
    @markthibault8579 3 месяца назад +2

    Neat gun that requires you to adapt to its idiosyncracies. When I tried my buddy's FPC, even with large hands, I couldn't work the mag release with my thumb. So, I suggested swapping it to the other side and then just using your trigger finger to drop the mag. That way, you don't have to break your grip as much and rotate the gun. Also, the bolt release really isn't; it's a bolt catch. The charging handle seemed to be the best way to go. Otherwise, neat PCC that has a lot of advantages over the competition.

    • @BROTUNED
      @BROTUNED  3 месяца назад +1

      Ya after looking at the manual it clearly states bolt catch. But looks like it would be a release mechanism also but I guess they would have made it easy if that’s what it was intended to do. Speaking to my friends at my local gun shop they said they haven’t had one come back but many sub2000 s have come back. I was advised against it. Apparently there are plastic components in the trigger group. Heavy use will destroy it from what I hear.

    • @markthibault8579
      @markthibault8579 3 месяца назад +1

      @@BROTUNED Interesting. I would have assumed the FPC's trigger group would be identical to the M&P pistol which has a proven track record.

      @@markthibault8579 He was talking about the plastic found in the sub2000. The FPC is very similar to the pistol.

    Personally I just wrap my middle finger of my right hand around the front of the grip to press the mag release. I’m worried swapping the mag release to the right side of the gun would introduce accidental mag ejections

    Get a Taccom charging handle + MCarbo flash suppressor. Put a dot on it. I like a short fore grip. Great truck gun for farm predators to 200yds.
    M&P 50rd drum works in mine, no mods. 96 rds on board when two 23 rd mags in stock. 2k+ rds of assorted ammo, no fails.
    Hate cleaning it, bolt release is dumb.
