My dad passed away a couple years ago. Mickey was his favorite. His fights with Arturo are cemented in my childhood memory. Thanks for the memories Mick.

Watching Mickey stand and deliver might be one of the best sights in boxing history. The moment his heels hit canvas he came back with the world in each hand. He could walk the greatest down with each hand. Beaten, bloodied, he’d rise and walk you down again. Nothing but hurt in his hands. Dealt nothing but hurt in each and every slug. If I’m at my worst and I need someone behind me, Mickey is the guy. Hands down.
C'mon dude. #1 dude is 5'7. #2 guy was AT BEST a fringe contender.
