It was just kinda strange, cool for sure but strange. I think it turned out fine tho. As a kid I enjoyed it, as a 21 year old I still do although me knowing it was supposed to be connected to Sam raimi movies it felt disappointing they chose not to anymore and canceled it. But also they did too much lol

It was cool to see some of the villains and stories were pretty good but Harry & mj is handled completely different than the movies. As it’s own thing the show was good but some flaws because although ahead of its time at first the 3D animation style wasnt the best it could be, it just doesn’t hold up as much but I like that it was different. I like the suit a lot though I think it’s exactly how the Sam raimi 2002 suit would’ve looked like if it was in the comics. It’s got big eyes

New spider man from 1994 is by far the best Spider Man series we ever had, nothing else comes even close… It’s on the same level like the x-men series from 1992… It’s very sad that they don’t bring that back like X-Men 97, the new Sequel from the 92 series with direct connection and even the same comic style, that’s exactly what they should do with the new Spider-Man series instead to make complete new series…
My two favorite Spider-Man cartoon series is Spider-Man: The Animated Series (90s) and The Spectacular Spider-Man. They’re both my favorite shows. Not to mention, the voice actors, Christopher Daniel Barnes and Josh Keaton are the GOAT. I also love the artworks. Both of them I grow watching as a kid. I enjoyed it so much.
for me best is ultimate becase of two reasons firstly becase as show went on it got better and better and second is fact that it was first spider man tv show that got actual ending. if we compare by overall quality it would go to either 90's show or spectacular but becase both of them ended with cliffhanger i really can't compare them to complete story of ultimate even though they are better and way more classic spider man stories (in good way)

The only way I personally would have ever welcomed a 5th season of Ultimate Spider-Man is if they finally introduced Eddie Brock into the series and have him become Toxin like he briefly was in the comics while this show was on the air. They utterly wore out this Harry Venom thing in previous seasons so to make Harry Osborn Toxin as well would have been both lazy and repetitive.
