  • I did this trip in October of 2021 so from what I was told this was a week before they closed the trail for the winter. So lots of snow already at the summit. My GoPro stopped recording as I approached the top. This was a one way trail so the way down was a long declined slope covered in snow/ice and slid probably a good few hundred feet with no control. Was defnitely the best summit I have done so far in a Jeep. Hope you enjoy!
If you are headed up Webster Pass Road for an afternoon of off-roading south of Montezuma, you may want to consider a trip over Red Cone Pass. Of course, this is with the understanding that you are an experienced off-road driver with nerves of steel.
Red Cone Pass is a towering 12,801 foot summit that can only be accessed via a steep gravel road. Along the mountain ridge towards Red Cone Pass, the one way road becomes narrow with tremendous vertical drops on both sides. Once traversed, vehicles will travel down a series of switchbacks to the ghost town of Webster.

Sorry about this. I liked the video but the sound sucked until you got up on top of the pass. I watch these things on my television and I've done mosquito, Weston, Engineer, Cinnamon, and many many more. I had to have the volume up over fifty to hear what you're saying, but then, when the music came on, I had to turn it way down. I don't know whether you had the sound up on the recording too loud or .....

When you were up with all the other four wheelers, the music was too loud and I could hardly hear your voice. It just wasn't right. Sorry for the criticism, but it's hard to watch.
