    Thank you so much .
    I have a question about the word (fellow) in the following example.
    Thank you for being considerate fellow passengers.
    Is it necessary to use (fellow) or
    can it be said without it ?
    If the answer is yes , does the meaning change?

    • @highlevellistening
      @highlevellistening  7 дней назад +1

      “Fellow” usually means something like “people who are the same as me”
      So “fellow passengers” means I am also a passenger and I am speaking to more passengers.
      Or “she is a fellow teacher” means we are both teachers
      “Fellow students” means the speaker and the people they are talking to are also students
      It would change the sentence a little because “thank you for being considerate passengers” means it’s good to be nice to everyone
      And “thank you for being considerate fellow passengers” sounds like the speaker is also a passenger
