Been watching your videos for awhile now! To my surprise I was exiting the plane in SNA and saw you at the cockpit! I said something like “BigErn!” and you acknowledged me back! It was so cool that you were one of the pilots for our flight! My wife later asked me how I know who you are haha! I said I watch him on RUclips! 😎great flight and I actually filmed the take off from PVR-SNA as we sat in the seats. Let me know how to send it to you if you’re interested from my view! Excellent shout out to the controllers......I loved when any pilot would visit us in the TRACON, especially when you've got the time to sit and hang out for a bit. Hope you get the upgrade, take care BigErn.

I love Southwest Airlines they are so nice each time we fly with them. Some Airlines can't comprehend it only takes 1 bad experience for someone to stop flying with them.

Ernie…I am a million miler on a different airline and well over that in total career miles from my corporate roles over the years. While I rarely fly Southwest, I have immense respect for your profession (pilots and flight attendants). I simply fit better into a model with first class upgrades given my travel frequency. That said, I love your videos and find your passion infectious. I am confident you deserve the upgrade to captain and that you will serve with distinction. Southwest is lucky to have you. Well done!

I just recently got upgraded . Very happy but as you say the last little bit when you really want it and you know it’s close is the worst really because the right seat becomes not good enough. Just gotta enjoy the flying and try not to think too much! Cheers!

Awesome videos Ern its cool when you show the sid and stars and some of the flight plans and you always have in awesome vibe and positive attitude which is really great. keep up the great work hopefully they let you put a camera on the dash in flight one day.
i just worked my first week as a cabin cleaning agent here in KDSM with g2 and i love it what i dont love it being sick lol been sick since sat but i love my crew and yeah love cleaning the southwest planes i hope to bump into you someday fly safe and stay healthy
