Neve Campbell is a gem of an actress. She doesn't make a lot of movies and tv, but when she does, its always a welcome and unexpected surprise which makes the film/tv series more enjoyable.
Neve Campbell is an actress with class. She doesn't need to jump on every single project that is suggested to her. She broke her boundaries recently by being on the last two seasons of House of Cards. It's not that Hollywood "won't cast her" anymore, it's that she waits for worthwhile projects that Hollywood simply isn't conjuring up in their washed up and recycled industry.
I dare you to watch the movie When Will I Be Loved and tell me it reflects smart choices. The movie is beyond bad, a cobbled-together mess by a director who seems to have had no idea what he was doing. Campbell appears nude in it, revealing that she looks better with her clothes on.
caulkins69 I meant smart life choices. I wouldn't judge her based on the movies she's made. It's a matter of personal opinion. The same applies to her body.
Okay, as I've said before: this woman does not age! She still looks almost exactly the same as she did when she was in the '90's! But let's hope she does make a comeback soon.
I swear in nearly all these 'Why Hollywood won't cast......." videos it's because the actors/actresses chose not to pick up roles that they didn't agree with or that they're being more careful in what they choose to be in. Sooooo, really it's not that Hollywood won't cast them, it's their choice.
She will do well. She's finally grown up and looks mature. She was always a pretty decent actress. I didn't know her from Scream, but Party of Five. She probably shouldn't have done Scream, but back then those types of movies were lucrative. Hopefully she'll finally get some roles that she can sink her teeth into. Not literally, just figuratively. You know actors have those chops.
Terri Boyd She was at the right time and place for Scream, there is no question about that. Why? Back then, the horror genre was far from profitable, it was dead. So making a horror film like Scream was a huge risk. The movie didn’t even debut in the top 5. However, thanks to it’s amazing script and word of mouth, over the next weeks it slowly made its way to number one, becoming a huge success. This movie singlehandedly revived the horror genre, to the point of making numerous versions and sequels, which is why Neve Campbell had no choice but to replay the same character more than once for the sake of the movie business, when it was initially only intended to be a one-and-done role.
The fact is she's in Scream 5, tells me that she knows this franchise is forever her legacy.. The fact is even Courtney Cox can actually say she is part of two huge iconic pop culture events. Friends and Scream.. And unlike Neve Courtney had to fight to get Gale, to prove she can be completely opposite of the lovable but neurotic Monica Gellar.
You guys I made this post 5 years ago before the new Scream was a blip on Hollywood’s radar. Still haven’t seen it as I wasn’t a fan of that franchise but I recently watched Lincoln Lawyer and She has a major role in that show. It’s on Netflix. Check it out if you haven’t seen it. Starts slow, but watch till the last episode as there’s a few twists and turns with the plots. Hoping she lands other roles from this one. I think she did a great job, but definitely needs her own show.
Good for her! One really couldn't admire her more: for her integrity to herself, her self-discipline and her having the courage to see all these things that were wrong in her life and to ADDRESS them. Good for her!!
She is. I had the biggest crush on her in the original scream films back in 1996 and 1997. I was a young man going through puberty at the time and ill tell you, that woman tore me up!
Kyle Sanders honestly for being in her 40s and being a white woman I think she looks good. I mean seriously she's not 20 anymore and she still looks the same which is rare in Hollywood. And besides a lot of celebs who are her age don't look like they have wrinkles because of Botox lol
Come to think of it, Fairuza Balk still looks _wonderful._ Robin Tunney has barely aged a _year_ in the course of two decades. And Rachel True actually appears to be _reverse-ageing,_ Benjamin-Button-style. Maybe the witchcraft in _The Craft_ *wasn't* faked after all. ...in which case, Assumpta Serna must look like a friggin' _porn-star-era Traci Lords_ by now. >;)
Once a celebrity steps down from their fame, they can't expect the same pay that they once had (especially when their fan base moves on and won't follow them when they do decide to go back to it)
The choices she made, the things she said, her obvious contempt for the hypocritical Hollywood scene - all that makes her even more likeable than she is anyway. Such a sweet personality and still incredibly gorgeous.
She is actually just very selective about her roles. If you do some research you will find out that she was actually asked for a lot of projects but refused them when she didn't like the setting, the script or various other elements. She was the first choice for Claire Redfield in the Resident Evil films (since the look on the game character was originally based on her) and was suppoed to play the female lead role in Requiem for a Dream. I think she just knows her worth and prefers quality over quantity.
One of the cutest girls ever. Check out her role as Nepeese, in a Canadian television series later made into a feature film. Also starred Jeff Fahey. Neve was a teenager
Hey, I'm a fan of Neve Campbell, and I *_love_* the Sidney Prescott character. I mean I'd seen her do that one _Mad Men_ episode on a plane, she did _House of Cards_ , and she's now got an action film she's co-starring alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson coming up in 2018. I say she's doing fine career-wise.
I had never heard these stories about Campbell in any kind of media, but I had figured it out just by accompanying Campbell's career. I always found her the hell of a great actress. She did great jobs in teenage movies such as The Craft and Scream, but then she rapdily got herself involved in projects such as wild things and drowning mona, both granted her the chance of playing a role in the same movies as some great artists did, such as Danny DeVito, Kevin Bacon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Bette Midler. She was involved in some other movies that were much much more mature projects, like Studio 54! Then when I saw that she had gone back to Canada where she was more involved with their local film production(like a movie that was awarded in Cannes, called "when will i be loved") and with theatre, I just figured it out. She had grown sick and tired of Hollywood's games. She hadn't simply disappeared from hollywood. She left it behind on her own choice. In the late 90's it was clear that she would've conquered it. She was already beyond that image of being a teenage horror mistress. She had simply let go of those games and enviroment and ran away from it for the sake of her own well-being.
I loved her growing up and always thought she was so very gorgeous. I didn’t really know what kind of woman she was, but according to this video she’s intelligent and modest.
she was in one episode of mad men and she played her character so compellingly that i wished she would have been allowed to stay on longer. it was just a cameo, a foil really, but i loved her character.
Loved her in Relative Strangers. Couldn't stop laughing and she was adorable in that cowboy hat. Glad she's slowly making her way back. Always liked her.
of course,Neve if you can read this .....your fans, especially me...miss you and the gang from the series...end quote..I wish you and the gang would get back together...take advantage of the time while you and the others are young to keep it up,if the movies are going to continue..I am totally %110 into the franchise...I love it!!!!
Neve Campbell is the most beautiful woman in the world. I like how she doesn't feel she has to starve herself to be pretty. She has a nice figure and she knows it.
She's a scream queen and should soak it up that's where her best work shines through and she knew that when she signed up for the first scream when the many great actresses were dying for her role as Sydney Prescott
I always loved Neve. Glad that she is doing well. And Nicki ....that comment at the end (makes her fans to wanna ....) ....very cute. I got it. Very cute indeed. :)
First of all, it was her decision to move to London and she herself states she didn’t like the roles sent to her. HER choice. Get your facts straight with this stupid title. Anyways good morning!
Good for her , LA Hollywood party life isn't for everyone , and clearly she was smart with her money unlike so many before her , she had the option of just moving on to a simpler quieter life. Definitely one of my favourite actresses to ever grace the screen & as much I'd like to see her back I doubt she'll ever do more then a few roles here & there , she seems quite comfortable with life off screen. Very strong & smart woman.
According to her instagram she's currently wrapping up shooting a movie with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson So she might be getting back into the lime light! she also was in a few Coca-Cola commercials in the early 90's I have one uploaded on my channel featuring her and Bryan Adams.
Glad to hear that we'll see more of Neve in the future; when I think of her I naturally think of Scream, The Craft but that also makes me think of Robin Tunney and Fairuza Balk, and Wild Things. How long after Jamie Lee Curtis made Halloween movies was she able to shed that image and star in movies in other genres? She was in Trading Places and the lead in A Fish called Wanda and True Lies before her excellent performance. in Secretariat. I don't watch Party of Five, sorry.
Just because she doesn't want to be a mainstream chick that does everything to be in the spotlight, smh. She still is one of the most beautiful and pure women out there.
When you think Neve do you think Party of Five? Scream? The Craft? Wild Things?
Scream
Nicki Swift scream
Party of Five
Nicki Swift Party Of Five.
Party of five
Neve Campbell is a gem of an actress. She doesn't make a lot of movies and tv, but when she does, its always a welcome and unexpected surprise which makes the film/tv series more enjoyable.
I think she was smart in doing what she did!!!! Loved Neve in Party Of Five!! Wish there were shows like that on TV now!!!
I'm happy to see wrinkles around her eyes and didn't get plastic surgery. She's still really beautiful.
Your not wrong and I don’t blame you
Seems like she was just being smart and sticking to what she believed in! I love her!!
I personally support her, she just made smart choices.
It is a smart choice.
She's a real role model.
Right? Shes been my idol since i was young
Good for her. The title of this video doesn't match the content of this video though. Click bait? She's made very good choices for herself.
LuvandGlamour my thoughts exactly
LuvandGlamour total click bait!
'Why Neve Won't do Hollywood anymore'..
She's made smart choices.
Exactly!
The same applies to her body.
caulkins69 maybe it was a decent script but the director messed it up; happens a lot.
vpl7582 I get you.
She's a wise woman. So rare in the world of Hollywood. I wish Neve all the best
I always found her uniquely attractive, very subtle charisma, girl next door quality. On the flip, she was a ninja in them scream movies!
Scream was the best movies of all time
Harper Grace just 1 and 2 the rest were meh.
Harper Grace I have that same opinion I love scream
Bishop Ave - I agree, the first 2 were amazing, the 3rd one wasn't that good (okay...), and the fourth one was pretty good.
Harper Grace was great for it's time.
Harper Grace yep
She will always be a badass #TeamNeve
Okay, as I've said before: this woman does not age! She still looks almost exactly the same as she did when she was in the '90's! But let's hope she does make a comeback soon.
dignity ..
Loved her in the craft!
love her she's amazing.
HydroFlame20 agreed!
Yes she is amazing behind close doors that is.
She is awesome! Miss her, but it's good she is doing what she feels is good for her.
I swear in nearly all these 'Why Hollywood won't cast......." videos it's because the actors/actresses chose not to pick up roles that they didn't agree with or that they're being more careful in what they choose to be in. Sooooo, really it's not that Hollywood won't cast them, it's their choice.
She has an extremely prominent role on House of Cards....wtf are yall talking about?
natural beauty
yep
You forgot she's also Canadian
She will do well. She's finally grown up and looks mature. She was always a pretty decent actress. I didn't know her from Scream, but Party of Five. Well I love her in scream, whether she enjoyed the role or not I think she was perfect for it
The fact is she's in Scream 5, tells me that she knows this franchise is forever her legacy..
The fact is even Courtney Cox can actually say she is part of two huge iconic pop culture events. Friends and Scream..
And unlike Neve Courtney had to fight to get Gale, to prove she can be completely opposite of the lovable but neurotic Monica Gellar.
No way ,scream is great

I was first introduced to Neve is scream. I've been a huge fan of hers ever since. So glad she's taken on more roles in the last couple of years.
Good for her! One really couldn't admire her more: for her integrity to herself, her self-discipline and her having the courage to see all these things that were wrong in her life and to ADDRESS them.
Good for her!!
shes has gotten more beautiful as shes gets older
nick blum I was thinking the same thing
She is. I had the biggest crush on her in the original scream films back in 1996 and 1997. I was a young man going through puberty at the time and ill tell you, that woman tore me up!
That’s a lie. She has so many crows feet . WHite women age so badly ..but I love her personality
Kyle Sanders honestly for being in her 40s and being a white woman I think she looks good. I mean seriously she's not 20 anymore and she still looks the same which is rare in Hollywood. And besides a lot of celebs who are her age don't look like they have wrinkles because of Botox lol

These are becoming a guilty pleasure.

That's cool

She is staring in House of Cards. It is the biggest show in America and online at the moment. Wtf?!

organicinsanity WASSSUPPPPPPP
When I see her on anything I scream. She's such a good actor!
And now she’s thriving as an actress in 2022. Hello, Scream, Twisted Metal, Lincoln Lawyer……
uhm she's been on House of Cards since last year... wouldn't say her career is over
She is actually just very selective about her roles. Neve was a teenager
Rather her career ends or not, she'll always be one of my favorite actress
Glad she is doing what she loves
“Already in her early 20’s” that hurt as a 23 yr old lmao
Neve campbell is a great actress!!! She is modest and has such a natural talent. I am glad she is making a comeback.😄❤👍
I adore Neve Campbell
I don't care what people say about her, she will always be my favorite actress and I love the way she is!
I have to confess that I was a member of the Neve Campbell fan club.
I love Neve Campbell so much
It's funny, a lot of these "why Hollywood won't cast" videos are because the actor messed up. Neve straight up owned every decision on here!
I loved her in all Scream movies..
I love her! Thanks for this video.

I had such a crush on her from the 1st Scream..👍👍👍
Omg I didn't recognize her in HOC. I love her so much 💕💕💕 such a 90s icon
She was awesome on House of cards..to bad KS messed that up
I loved her growing up and always thought she was so very gorgeous. I didn’t really know what kind of woman she was, but according to this video she’s intelligent and modest.
Nave Campbell a real chill person
she was in one episode of mad men and she played her character so compellingly that i wished she would have been allowed to stay on longer. it was just a cameo, a foil really, but i loved her character.
she reminds me of this actress for "the note book" and "the vow" i can't remember her name but they both have the exact same type of beauty
It's Rachel McAdams.
I love that she was filming Skyscraper when this was published.
I always thought she's a good actress, I'm glad she's having these kind of roles to play
She was recently cast in a big budget Hollywood film across Dwayne Johnson. So the whole argument in this video is not valid.
She's beautiful, I wish she did more!
I can't wait to see her again in Scream 5 if (and/or when) it gets greenlighted.
Loader2K1 lol I'm pretty sure she wouldn't do it
We'll see.
vpl7582 she did an interview where she said without Wes it would be hard BUT if the script was good, she would do a scream 5.
Damn she changed ALOT im not calling her ugly or anything but aging really does show but again not calling her ugly bc aging is natural but damn
She's fantastic in House of Cards.
I love Neve. She's tough and straightforward, just like Sydney Prescott.
She still has beauty on her side
I’ve loved her since I was a kid - I remember seeing her in one of her earliest shows on YTV called Catwalk
Therapist Gus me too.👊🏻
Neve Campbell is the most beautiful woman in the world. I like how she doesn't feel she has to starve herself to be pretty. She has a nice figure and she knows it.
Awesome actress
She seems like a really smart and cool woman. Good for her. Would be nice to see her back on my screen though!
she's amazing! love her from the day I saw scream
*HOUSE OF CARDS!!!*
Was so cool seeing her get a role in that show...
she’s a legend and I feel like videos like this are detrimental to the mental health of these great people
She's a scream queen and should soak it up that's where her best work shines through and she knew that when she signed up for the first scream when the many great actresses were dying for her role as Sydney Prescott
Eeeh, she is currently in House of Cards, she is still being cast
I always loved Neve. Glad that she is doing well.
And Nicki ....that comment at the end (makes her fans to wanna ....) ....very cute. I got it. Very cute indeed. :)
First of all, it was her decision to move to London and she herself states she didn’t like the roles sent to her. HER choice. Get your facts straight with this stupid title. Anyways good morning!
wow a straight up positive review, thats rare, great stuff
Good for her , LA Hollywood party life isn't for everyone , and clearly she was smart with her money unlike so many before her , she had the option of just moving on to a simpler quieter life. Definitely one of my favourite actresses to ever grace the screen & as much I'd like to see her back I doubt she'll ever do more then a few roles here & there , she seems quite comfortable with life off screen. Very strong & smart woman.
She’s GORGEOUS
I can't remember the last thing I've seen her in( I haven't seen Mad Men or House of cards). I've always liked her. I hope to see her working more
According to her instagram she's currently wrapping up shooting a movie with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson So she might be getting back into the lime light!
she also was in a few Coca-Cola commercials in the early 90's I have one uploaded on my channel featuring her and Bryan Adams.
Cool, nice commercial!
Glad to hear that we'll see more of Neve in the future; when I think of her I naturally think of Scream, The Craft but that also makes me think of Robin Tunney and Fairuza Balk, and Wild Things. Just because she doesn't want to be a mainstream chick that does everything to be in the spotlight, smh. She still is one of the most beautiful and pure women out there.
She was worried about being pigeonholed, but she kept making those Scream movies-all 4 of them. LOL
what a fine honest lady ....... you go Neve
Scream one of my favorite movie of her
she is still beautiful to me..
That chick on the 100 really looks like Neve from 15 years ago. Striking similarity. Liked her in Jack London's Sea Wolf.
this video made me appreciate her even more.
If anyone were to say that she's gorgeously attractive, especially within the 1990's and early 2000's, I won't argue against that♡♡
Scream is enough it is iconic
