It looks as though I made a mistake with my color management on this one: the color is off on the writing samples, and it looks more green than it should. I was going to try to fix it when I get home this evening, but it will probably be too late by then, so I suppose I'll just leave it. But the swatches and the two blue moon comparisons are accurate.
I'd never ink a pen with this, but I'd absolutely use it for painting. I like that it isn't an overly saturated color. I'm bothered by it not having a unique name, that it shares a name with the Goldspot exclusive.
Yes, it's funny to me because I have so few Colorverse inks, and I just happened to have one with the same name :-) Still, the Goldspot one is rare enough that it probably won't cause much confusion.
It does look a little teal in the writing sample, but in real life it looks more like the swatches, which are not as green as a teal... but it does look a little green on some papers

Your videos are so well done. Calming...easy on the eye. Really enjoyable. ✒️💙💎
A nice soft blue, would be beautiful for painting eyes but I agree, a little too light for daily writing.
i love this color of ink. definitely reminds me of Celadon Cat by Diamine
It reminds me of a Japanese ink with its muted color and shading. Very pretty.
I defer to Mathew’s blue ink expertise, but these pale shading blue’s work for me, so it’s getting a 👍 from me.
Not me trying to find this still for sale somewhere. You've totally sold me on this. I love all of these blues
Wow they couldn't even remember that they already have an ink named that.
Reminds me a bit of some of the Sailor Studio inks. Really like it.
i really loved this color! despite all the blue inks i have, I don't have anything like it in my collection
Pretty 💙
Agreed 🙂
Looks like a nice, soothing colour though I think I like Goldspot's Blue Moon a bit more. 💙💙💙
I like both... but I might agree with you about the Goldspot ink 🙂

It is a beautiful shade of blue l, like a teal, ir is it my eyes?

It reminds me of Diamine’s Celadon Cat. Pretty inks but not very usable day-to-day.
I'm the biggest sucker for a blue ink. D:
I'm a big sucker for blue ink, too 🙂 But I usually prefer them more saturated than this.
What was the barber pole looking pen in the shot where you pan up to the day on the box?
That's a Hongdian A9. Inexpensive #8 nib. I've had it for several months, but haven't used it much.
weird, I have a couple of those…yours looked a lot lighter than any I’ve seen. 🤷🏼♂️
@@ilikepens Yeah, it seem to be really catching the light... I have a giant softbox overhead, and it's on the shiny side 🙂
Although, looking again, it seems about right to me. Maybe I just got a pale one 🙂
