- In this video I go over some features of the 2022 Bad Boy Maverick zero turn and provide my first impressions. Is it better than an old Scag lawn mower?
Hope your still enjoying your mower. Just bought a 23 Maverick HD 54” with Honda motor a couple of weeks ago . So far I’m liking it , also never had any issues with Honda motors . I have a 16 year old Hustler Mini Fastrak with a Honda 16 HP , a Honda self propelled mower that’s over 30 years old and a Honda string trimmer that’s 6years old and no issues on any of them . The Bad Boy is a little stiffer in the steering than my Hustler but it’s also bigger. Hoping for as good a mower as my Hustler that is still running.
My 22 Maverick is still running well. No complaints at all. As far as zero turns go I think this one can hang with the best. I’ve used to to mow thick & tall (2-3 ft) brush in my pasture, wet stuff, bumpy stuff and it wouldn’t quit.
Just bought the same mower 3 weeks ago. So far it's a great machine. 👍
I’m loving it too. The rain has been keeping it parked a lot. I hooked up a dump cart to the back today and hauled some firewood with ease.
Yes sir nice mower ✔️💯
I own a scag and love it but like the Maverick thought about buying one for a back up mower
I think you’d like the Maverick. It’s a smooth ride and is very comfortable.
There’s nothing compare to scag
Those tires aren't much better than turf
I’ve actually been really impressed with the traction from these tires. I’ve been able to mow wetter areas than I could before. These may not be “much better than turf”. But if only a slight improvement, that improvement has helped.
I WANT TO SEE THIS MOWER CUTTING TALL THICK GRASS NOT A FRESH GOLF CORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PATCH U ON WAS FRESH CUT ALREADY.. DEMO ON KNEE HIGH GRASS...
Who the heck is dozing tall brush with these things?
ME!
I've cut waist high grass with my SCAG Cheetah II
Yeah maaaaaaan…. Golf “cores” are soooooo easy.
@@TheSwampChicken-IIi cut 6 acres of pasture with my Bad Boy Maverick and it cuts it extremely well. I have been cutting it for 2 years now and no issues whatsoever. Also the maverick is a MUCH smoother ride on rough terrain than Scags are.
Have a hard time putting much interest in what a guy has to say who is wearing flip flops.
For some guys, other guys wearing flip flops are a real turn off. Luckily this video is certified flip flop free.
He's not even mowing 😂
i'm ready to dump scag (i've had 3 new scags all with issues - videos posted). I want to try a bad boy maverick HD but all the local dealers are saying the kawasaki motors are on back order and there are no parts available. it may be a trick to get me to buy a honda, but you won't catch me dead with a honda engine.
Not being funny but what's the problem with a Honda engine?
@@MrLewisb33 I read they aren't very reliable. Guys have been using them in the pressure washer world and have had issues. If you search you can find some of the bad boys having problems. The bad boys have a lot of pulley/bearing problems. I'm adding Vanguard to the list after my 2022 tigercat didn't come with complete gasket sealant on the crankcase.
@@morejelloplease ahhhh, ok. Thanks for the warning. I figured Honda would be a great option. Another guy pointed out problems with the Yamaha engine so I guess there's Kohler and kawasaki. I've heard complaints on both of those also
@@MrLewisb33 yeah I mean you know how it goes, some people are embarrassed to admit they're having engine problems especially after dropping 10 grand on a new zero turn, then there are people like me that are absolutely fed up with the situation after buying 4 new scags and all having problems, the dealer is everything, I thought I found the one but I'm still searching. I have tons of videos on my channel, people say I complain too much but these are real world experiences and I just tell it like it is.
@@morejelloplease I'm gonna have to watch some of your vids to see what your talking about. I'm headed to work so I'll watch some in the morning
