- In April one Saturday afternoon the groove legend formally known as "Thomas Pridgen" held a signing and chill sesh at Bentley's Drumshop in Fresno ca, Thomas did not expect to play that day but was kind enough to jam with some local drummers. Here is some footage.

That would blow my mind.
This is the type of drumming I like to see Thomas play, groove oriented patterns, not just speed blasting.....which is impressive in its own right. But this is friendlier to the senses. And its pretty damn impressive how through all that, they manage to find the 3 together almost every time. Some fuzzed out funk guitar would have complimented that feel.

What mics were used? Only a camera mic? No way, it sounds soo good!
Gopro hero 4 silver mic, I did do some eq"ng and compression with some waves plugins. But the audio is from the mic on the camera.

Dre Cor I guess if it wasn't for people like that, we couldn't enjoy it. That's the only good I can find from it. Me on the other hand, I just watch and enjoy.

Man, when Thomas stops playing, and your only hear the other guy, you really hear the dudes timing fall apart. Goes to show, the drums barely matter, if you don’t have the skills. Thomas has such a solid pocket.

I have pretty bad Tinnitus and frequency damage due to not wearing ear protection in my younger days when I played in stupid loud rock bands. . I wear ear protection now... 25 years too late. WEAR EAR PROTECTION GUYS!
Same here, but my hearing tests are all normal. My audiogram shows no signs of hearing loss. Quite many people with tinnitus and hyperacusis have no measurable hearing loss, except from what audiologists expectst to see when you get older. We all loose hearing by time. Tinnitus is a tricky condition that can strike in different ways. The hyperacusis part does get better by time, but the tinnitus seems to be a never ending story.
ventende Like the two responses before me, I ended up getting a bit of tinnitus when I was younger. As soon I realised that it was becoming an issue I started wearing ear protection religiously, and it has since disappeared entirely, albeit over a long period of time. I never had any noticeable hearing loss though.

I appreciate your question...I personally thought it was funny, or I wouldn't have commented. Of course I don't expect everyone to find it funny. That's what's great about humor, it's subjective. Also, just because a 'joke' deals with or mentions race doesn't mean it or the author is racist...If this were the case imagine how many of our favorite comedians, writers, actors, movies, etc...would be labeled 'racist'!...I would never tell anyone how or what to feel...We are all entitled to our opinions and I respect and welcome everyone's whether I agree or disagree:)
