So far Thomas Pridgens and Larnell Lewis have the best Zildjian performances
Robert Chambers I also think erskines was up there
Binjüs yeah I think you’re right
No , gergo was better than thomas . , I'd say larnell and gergo
Mike Mitchell Though
Drummer cam: Here is a blurry shot of cymbals with Pridgen's face in the middle. lol
Don't give a shit what anyone says. Thomas is really a one of a kind drummer. His sound is so signature but there's always something new I pick up on from his playing.
Big up Zildjian for this series. Every segment is incredible and educational as hell!
It's so nice to hear him in a musical situation that suits him. Have seen him live and heard him with several different artists through the years but he always seemed like he was a square peg trying to fit in a circle. #smokkin band!! #killer drummin!!!
from 2:00 to 3:00 he creates such a tension we can feel it in our bodies... what a great drummer!
not only that. Listen as the brass ostinato goes on. That plus Pridgens insane lock and irregular placements, its just mindblowing!
Power. Perfection. Precision.
I swear every time I see his performance I never want an end to his piece I just want to see and hear Thomas keep going #BadAss🤘🏽 keep up the inspirational work Sir🙏
I absolutely love his use of the low toms. He uses them in between quick pauses and they sound so good alone. Mono's deep base notes go perfectly with the toms. Brilliant
So badass.. I think this was the dopest
Simply amazing!!
whoa! What speed! Very creative.
Masters level!!!! Im sure those drums are still smoking!!!!! Just wow!!!
Geesh I’m Sabian all the way, but them Avedis crashes are fire no lie 🔥
I’m a meinl guy but the only non meinl cymbal I own is a 21 inch avedis ride which is basically a crash ride. Very unique sounding cymbal and nothing else like them on the market. Anolsirely love how responsive and thin they are but the bell is still awesome. Prolly my 3rd favorite ride of all time.
Now that’s a fire
it's insane i love this monster,
it's a genius
That's a pretty cool jazz, prog, metal song.
Mcufre fusion!
He said it correctly he just listed the genre's he heard out of it. If you want too bust a man out that seems too have an interest in drums go ahead and be that guy! We both know its fusion but the way the guy described what styles he heard out of it he was right on. My point is encourage each and every fellow drummer and quit criticizing or hanging on to every little word someone says then smoothly undercover call them out on there technical phrasing mistakes. We suppose too be in this all together encouraging each other! Not calling out there mistakes. I truly mean no harm in this comment bud I'm just trying too start a more nicer trend on these drum feeds and stop any criticizing I see and try and turn into something positive!✌bro
@@normanwilmoth7404 I consider fusión the jazz/rock from the seventies. Anyway it was meant as a joke.
@@king-manu2758 that's cool bud, I obviously misunderstood where you were coming from but I'm sure you agree with the point in general I was making! There's just too much checking on each other from what I can see and I just try too push more of a positive attitude towards other fellow drummers. I do apologize as I was a bit confrontational towards you. Hey but it's all good thought✌bro
🔥 🔥🔥🔥crazy man
1:32 Love Larnell’s reaction
That one was great, but 2:26 was priceless
Nick Weaver yup 😂
Ttrrrt. Trrrt. Trrrtt trrtt
like that
insane snare sound
YES SIR!!!
his drumming is like a machine... that very angry
We need crowd reaction cam!
I want this song 😱😱😱
Woweeeee
I hope I can play half as good as this one day 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Don't try to be as good as someone else, be yourself.
Now I need one video of Senri Kawaguchi like this one.
Drum cam, but Larnell's reactions are still left in here :D
Fucking savage as always, Thomas just won't stop soloing.
I wonder if I can get on this before I turn 20 🤔 That would be cool I gotta start working on it now then
Are these songs available anywhere to stream/download?
A most excellent question!
What's that stack?! I know the bottom is zildjian efx cymbal but what are the other 2. It looks like 3 in some angles.
Am i trippin or does that say Will Kennedy (they finally fixed it)
I came here to see the drum cam version of what he was doing at 2:24 but you guys hid it...smh
👍 😁
monster
Wasn't this uploaded last week?
This is drum cam version
@@Savantjazzcollective i see no difference at all
@@krioni86sa ugh, I dont know what to say then....
anyone knows what that song
What's that stack? Zildjian doesnt makes it very clear
Well there are 2 16” A-Custom EFX Crashes top and bottom (the bottom has rivets), and a broken (lol) china in the middle. Zildjian is making only three 16” chinas, but my guess is the S china.
Intensity
That lead in beat is the start of Dragon Ball - Mystical Adventure
Hes ok 😁
Lmao
song?
Won't his cymbles hit and have a crash sound at the same time
It looks like he buries the beater. I've been trying to stop doing that all the time. But Thomas does it, so I don't feel so bad.
This is Thomas Pridgen
Bruce Fuchs Neves I thought it was Ringo?
@@jumpinjojo they upload the video with Will Kennedy on the title
Bruce Fuchs Neves They fixed it now.
Ok. He killed. I think its time to get Eric Moore on
Rudare916 agreed
Are they going to attempt to transcribe this or na?
2:25 😂😂😂
get this man some milk
not human but cyborg
LOL @ a drummer event mixed in audience perspective..
RANT: DRUM CAM??? IT'S THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL VIDEO
Thomas is so complex . You won't really appreciate his skills if you don't pay attention to his "counting"
These camera angles are the worst, what are supposed to look at Thomas pridgen or cymbals?🤦🏾♂️smh
Manuel Eshun hmm what would a cymbal company want you to look at ? 🤔
What
Get wrekked audience
Zildjian or not this is not for me, I, am out.
Kids think he's a good drummer. He's not.
@Prep's Casket it's called knowledge. Can't pass that, sorry.
@Prep's Casket Jon Theodore.
@Kyle Cholewinski you did.
@Prep's Casket 🤣😂
@tomahawk bro you are.
