I like how this solo starts off real mid range triplety-ish, instead of just blasting his way to fast 32nds out the gate! He builds to it. Thomas is so fresh.
@menteencoma like i said earlier, this is def a "new" sound from thomas that we havent heard in one of his drum solo's...not that he couldnt do this type of thing before, but this just holds my interest MUCH longer.. go TP
@trmnatr21 Something about they did 2 albums with him and felt it was enough, time to move on. That's at least what Omar says. I dont mind that he's gone. He often just sounded like a trainwreck trying to do too much all the time, soloing at weird times when the song didnt call for it.
i'm not a big fan of Pridgeon's playing per say, but - for my money, anyway - he has THE best right foot in the business. the guy is an absolute freak.
