Fantastic, I been to Monumental Valley at New Years and in Summer, but think Utah has a lot to offer, thanks again for making my bucket list that little bit longer.
Living in St. George Snow Canyon is literally in my back yard. Come back! We have over 100 miles of bike paths! Truly a fantastic place to live…and very senior friendly😉
Hello Debbie! Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with the world. Your photography and music choice was perfect. I felt quite moved watching it. What a wonderful world.
We like your channel because we like you and John and love sharing your adventures. We live in South Carolina, but have RVed here and in AZ, TX, NM, LA, MS, AL, during covid when we our jobs were eliminated. We fulfilled for a short time, our dream RV ing in the western US, especially in State/National parks. Your videos give us tantalizing views of what awaits us when we get to continue traveling. Retirement isn’t so far away. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Thanks for pouring your love of the journey and for each other in your video work. What John is going to say is a highlight for us, By the way, also thanks for sharing your philosophy with us (From she to me,, etal*) We need more of your sensibilities today. Just a regular, thoughtful person sharing your experiences. Take Care.
Kind of like a dry martini. Has to go on John's Top 10 list. What a grand adventure. So wishing we were with you. Well other than the snow. But even that is cool. Much love from much warmer NC.
Great video. The spider was a great Halloween touch. We spent Halloween once in Zion NP. It was the best. Southern Utah was a great experience. Love it there.
So interesting! You guys take the best trips and document it so well, even this far into the year people are still traveling and filling up parks! Thanks so much Deb
Hello, Debbie, I finally want to thank you for your RUclips channel. I live in Germany and before the Corona crisis I often flew to the USA during my vacations to hike in the national parks in the southwest. It was my best vacation. I fear that because of Corona it will never be possible for me to fly to the USA. I have fond memories from your videos. In addition, you speak English so good that I understand everything with my inadequate tourist English. Thank you again and best regards from Germany - keep it up.
Wow! What an interesting and fun trip….even entertaining with The Joker lol Going to watch it again because so much to see & read. Thank you very much for sharing…and John’s humor once again.🤣
Thank you bringing me along on a wonderful trip. The geography of Utah is fascinating and very different from my home state of VA. I look forward to visiting the state and seeing it for myself. You do a great job of capturing the beauty of the landscape. Happy trails.
As Steve said, your camera work and music are a wonderful complement to the extraordinary area. We recently moved to Utah and can’t wait to explore! Nicely done.
“You look like Jack Nicholson in the Joker. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.” OMG. Laughed out loud. This was an exquisite episode in all the ways: soundtrack, narration, the spaces and places we visited. It delivered me awe, wonder, spirit and laughter. Thank you thank you.
We spent 5 nights in a Bluff Campground in early May 2017 with hookups. We saw many sights in the area and went on to 3 nights in Hatch and then 2 nights in Thompson Springs. So much stuff to see in Utah (we had no idea) had to pull ourselves away and continue on our 52 day trip around the West from northern New England. Obviously we still missed a lot from your ventures, getting ideas for a return trip soon. Travel safe.
Such a joy to follow your excursions. We have a B van ordered and one of our first trips will be to the Utah/Arizona areas. You make your visits literally come alive for us with history and todays world mingling. Love you music choices.
Excellent episode, Debbie. This one adds to our bucket list, for sure. Also: thanks for letting us check out your bikes at the rally. As I anticipated, we ordered as soon as we got home and our Mini Step-Through 2's will hopefully be delivered this week!
As a native Utahn, I’m inspired by your adventures into areas of the state I haven’t explored much. I need to broaden my horizons! Thanks for the great ideas packaged in such an enjoyable format. We’ve been married as long as you two have; my husband says he was smart enough to marry his trophy wife first! John could certainly say the same about you. ☺️❤️
Wow! What a beautiful journey! Thank you so much for bringing us along. Your cinematography skills just keep improving...off the charts good! Your choice of music matches the scenery so beautifully. As a (retired) history teacher, I love your visits and commentary. Going down in the kiva in the snow was cool. The Dinosaur Museum was very interesting. Your talents, skills and sharing with us constantly amazes me. Have an awesome week! See you in Monument Valley! Much love from SC, Jane❤️🙏🏻
Loved this video, love Utah! I don’t know how we missed Snow Canyon. Apparently drove right past it🤷🏻♀️ Next time. Thanks for taking us along and looking forward to your visit to Monument Valley!
We happened upon your channel tonight and I was thinking that I like the music you’ve chosen for this video. And then, My wife and I were stunned to hear our daughter singing at the 11:50 mark. Thank you for using that song! “Beauty Lives In Me” by Johannes Bornlöf featuring Jennifer Holm. Jen is our daughter. We look forward to more of your videos.
I loved this video!!! Beautiful scenery and a history lesson included. Another place added to the “bucket list”. 😎 Thanks for taking us along👍 Safe travels
We used to have cabin right next to the Mammoth Creek Utah that 2 mile from spring head. We used go every weekend when we’re younger and we went fishing every where in Utah. The route you took we used take, that remained me a good old time. Utah is soo beautiful and there rockstar never gets old ( : Thank you so much.
That was so much fun. Absolutely loved the music choices. Thanks for including information on where dogs are welcome. You are so right about expecting the unexpected when it comes to fall weather. That storm literally blew me out of Colorado and sent me back to the Midwest with a tailwind. I did have to winterize on the road. Monument Valley is high on my list and I will have to add that kayak adventure and getting whacked with tamarack branches.
I just love Utah. We were in Moab in May. I would love to go in Oct. Thank you for the video with all the beautiful scenery and your kayak adventure, and the museums.
I love the Southern Utah landscape, there’s never a dull moment. So happy that you’re experiencing it at different times other than peak season. It’s absolutely beautiful
Cool trip! That little kayak adventure looked like a fun and interesting exploration, will have to put that on the "to do list". Glad you two are still out there traveling, I so enjoy viewing your trips. Take care and I'm looking forward to the next video.
If you haven't already you must go back and ride your bikes through the Valley of the Gods. We rode through in Oct of this year and it was a spectacular ride. Thanks for sharing your adventures!

But the weather is turning nasty so who knows what we'll be doing this coming week.
Mrs.Debbie I enjoy anything you post...I like your outfits, your adventures, your tips...as soon as I get in the house "anything from She to me" is on and on and on...you are " my background" like a music..❤❤❤But,may I ask...but I am very afraid for both of you in regards with wild animals you might see ?!?! I know you are an experienced hiker but how do you deal with that?!
LOL. I think listening to me in the background is pretty scary. No need to worry. In bear country we carry bear spray. Mountain lions give me pause sometimes but they seem to be a bigger problem in urban areas. Animals are smarter than humans and prefer to avoid a confrontation. But I appreciate your concern. My mom used to say, if she worried about something it wouldn’t happen. So maybe your worrying will keep us safe. 😊
Best to read the manual. But we only do it if the temperature drops below freezing for more than a few hours. Besides removing all liquids you need to disconnect your batteries because you don’t want them to charge in sub zero temperatures.
@@petestjeanohio686 37 is not a problem. You can blow it out but best if you watch someone who knows what they're doing. Check weather.com to see what the temps will likely be. You'll notice that it doesn't reach that low temp until early in the morning (just before sunrise). And generally speaking, the temperature under the van is a few degrees warmer than the outside temperature. So we don't worry about it if the outside temps are in the high 20's for a few hours. The antifreeze is used for flushing the toilet with. I'm assuming you will be inside the van which will keep the lines inside from freezing. You can also add some insulation to the lines under the van to help a little. You might want to consult your dealer and see what they recommend.

Wild Expeditions out of Bluff, Utah
@@FromShetoMe Thank you.
Which guided tour company did you use for your kayak trip? We’re going to be in Utah in late June 2022.
Thanks!
Wilderness Adventures out of Bluff. I would love to do the overnight one where you get to float through the Goosenecks.
Opps. It's called Wild Expeditions.

I enjoy anything you post...I like your outfits, your adventures, your tips...as soon as I get in the house "anything from She to me" is on and on and on...you are " my background" like a music..❤❤❤But,may I ask...but I am very afraid for both of you in regards with wild animals you might see ?!?!
O.K.
I feel much better now.
You are my Inspiration.❤
What are you using to edit videos?
Final Cut. It’s quite sophisticated and I still feel like a beginner sometimes.
Thanks!!!
What modification have you done to camp when the temperatures are in the upper 20s?
We don’t do anything. Apparently a few hours below freezing isn’t a problem. Probably because the interior of the van is being heated.
@@FromShetoMe Happy new year! that’s great. So you haven’t added any insulation on pipes or tanks? We are in NJ so worry about freezing.
@@victoriasolis6473 We haven’t but NJ gets a lot colder than we do.
We just bought a Pleasure Way. At what point do you winterize?
Best to read the manual. But we only do it if the temperature drops below freezing for more than a few hours. Besides removing all liquids you need to disconnect your batteries because you don’t want them to charge in sub zero temperatures.
@@FromShetoMe We are going to be at 37 one night next week. Do we need to hurry up and do it?
@@FromShetoMe Also, I saw a video where a guy in a regular RV just removes all the water and blows it all out. He does not use any antifreeze.
