20 years later... I hope the Generals in charge of the war are held accountable for their failures just like Any good Marine would be... To everyone else, Semper Fi Brothers. You are all badass heroes and don't let the culture of "not showing motivation" make you think otherwise... Yut! And a giant BIG FU! to Biden, to Trump, to Obama and to the Generals who all seem to think how this war ends is not their responsibility.... To everyone who has given the ultimate sacrifice. You will never be forgotten.

My section was just coming on shift at a forward deployed location. We heard a rumor that a plane had crashed into the towers. One of our other sections had a wall size briefing screen and we watched the second plane strike. Than everyone ran for their battle gear.
