I think when you join the legacy of the branch you chose becomes intertwined with your own legacy. That’s why when heroic acts are done we say you’re a true marine, soldier, airman, sailor, warrior, etc.. they lived up to that legacy and added to it.
Thank you for your service, My husband also joined the Marine Corps he always said it was the best decision he ever made. It taught him leadership. God, I love that man. 45 years
My drill instructors hands themselves could, would, and will forever be the driving fear into the enemies of freedom. 🫱 They alone are weapons of mass destruction as we are the hell that follows with it. As a recruit, I realized if they weren't at MCRD, but a forward 3-man echelon, that we wouldn't have any enemies to left to kill saved for ourselves.
Our nephew was not on the Osprey that crashed and killed 22 Marines. He had a doctors appointment. He recently retored as a CWP5 after 30 years. I could go on and on about his USMC Life but I'll save it for another day.
How about the Sgt Major and Commandant make sure that all Marines from Afghanistan that have a severe TBI from combat gets their Purple Hearts that’s ON THEIR MEDICAL RECORD. If you don’t, then don’t claim to uphold standards because you clearly aren’t.
I'll see what I can find. Currently as your looking at the flag. USA flag will be on the left and any other flag will be to its right. Since our current peace flag is the flag for our government then as your looking at it. I think any other flag should be to its right. I'll see what I can find and send it to you or you could probably find in on line by just typi in flag etiquette
Uh what about you did it for the HEROS THAT DIED ???? Not the corps buddy come on now its about the ones who paid the ultimate sacrifice....I salute you but you coulda answered the end question a little better .... SEMPER FIDELIS
Your pic shows boot photo so I presume you were a fellow jarhead. Did you not learn anything? Our legacy is the Marines that came before us. War or peace, we’re all a link in the chain that goes back to 1775.
4:00 🇺🇲 Marines fight for each other, fight for our freedoms, our families, while the grains of salt shed from us that we dust off each other's shoulders.
Obviously you are the one with no honor. Anyone that puts on the uniform has honor. All branches. Especially if you earn the EGA. GO BACK TO YOUR CRIB, YOU BABY We will protect you

Sure wish we'd tell true history instead of being politically correct.
Vietnam sucks but you had a good job. I could think of worse.

Obvious you have no honor
What? What have you done for the country that gives you the freedom to say that BS?!
You probably think Jane Fonda was honorable. Candy ass.
