My grandfather served in Vietnam as a door gunner he saw his best friend get killed by artillery and when he returned from Vietnam in 1970 he had PTSD but at that time, nobody recognized PTSD as a thing so he was just told to suck it up and move along. so in 2018 he killed him self we miss you grandpa😢

22 plus service members take their own life DAILY due to PTSD. Marines, and this to the top leadership first, lead the charge with ACTION.... to help those in peril. Failure to help those suffering is not an option, for this patriot. From a American bloodline of the U.S. Revolutionary War.... 1775.

I do volunteer work which often has me writing encouragement cards to veterans. I'm a civilian. I failed to serve. I am sincere in my cards and one thing I find important is veterans being there for other veterans. I ask to reach out to others you served with and keep those bonds as part of the team to find help with. There's relations few others can match. And getting service from those who have studied mental longevity is not a weakness - it's like cleaning teeth. Get that deep clean every now and then to prevent the cavities of the mind. Active duty and veterans do so much for allowing others to be part of their team. Semper Fidelis - we are stronger with you.

I can say from experience that the MC will take care of you while you serve, but once your out, your on your own. The VA dropped the ball on me and I ended up in prison from self medicating, and I actually asked for help, because my military family could SEE THE PTSD and I couldn’t.
Now, I’m estranged from my family, living alone in the mountains, and the VA still could care less.
VA executives make MILLIONS a year while we eat dog and cat food.
DONT JOIN the military unless your MOS has a civilian EQUIVALENT. Otherwise your just cannon fodder for the meat grinder, and that’s exactly how the global elites see you.

I went USMC Intel for the security clearance and now I have a six figure job in the civilian world... I tell people the same thing because young kids think it sounds cool to go infantry and I try my best to tell them to have a plan for when they get out.

There is help my friend. How bad do you want the help? SgtMaj Mario P Fields can put you in touch with a multitude of people who offer help for veterans but it takes that first step from YOU. Ask Christ Jesus to come into Your life and He will make a way for you just as He has done for me many times over, one of which was bringing Mario into my life! Have faith, my friend, and may God bless and protect you.
