Because of this video I was able to change my headlight bulbs on both sides in under 10 mins total. THANK YOU! I only had to watch it once. Very clearly explained and shown.
My 2008 doesn’t look anything like that. Brackets on inside of engine bay block all access to the rear of the bulbs. Everything indicates you have to access via the fender guards in the wheel well. :-/
Thank you very much. Very much needed and getting this done has given me confidence. Having a rough time and have 1 dollar in the savings 100 cash and Abt 10k in debt. Check ain't here for another week and a day. Locked both keys in my car just the other day and COULDN'T do the 70 oop so I fished them out w the help of my brother. Good cuz I need those 70 to fix these lights. Thanks again for a very well made vid feeling like I can handle anything life throws at me and like I need to pinch my pennies lol
Great video. Great engineering design by Honda to make easy access and replacement of the headlight bulbs. The rear tailight bulbs are equally as easy to get at and replace.
I just did mine for a 2008 and it’s totally NOT the same. You have to go under the wheel to get it out OR take out the whole headlight assembly. 2007-2008 US models won’t work as easy as this video.
Hi there, I have just replaced the headlight bulb for a Honda Fit 2007 (GE6) as per instruction and it works perfectly! Thanks for this simple instructions. OUT with the old and IN with the new in less than 10 minutes.
This video was perfect, thank you! Very clear and easy to follow. I had my car looked at for an oil change, and I asked them to replace 2 lights I knew were out and that was fine, but they missed one of my front headlights being out. I replaced both of them today and next time I’ll just do it myself
I just did my drivers side on 2012 Fit! For me I wouldn’t say it’s really easy. Also I hope I got the new bulb in right. It just never felt like a click and I was for sure about it? It’s in and looks like the side and works so I guess I did it right! Thanks for the video! Great job!
This was helpful, but I wish the "clip" part was shown clearly. On my Fit, this clip was stuck on. I tried lifting off, pushing off, tugging this way, tugging that way. Nothing. I had to yank really hard with needlenose pliers and ended up bending the clip. One problem is that it is hard to view the clip directly.
This is not how it works on the 2007. You have access it via the wheel well. Serious PIA and the people who decided it would be fine to sell the vehicle that way should lose their jobs.
Perfect. Got me from not knowing anything about this task to having both lamps replaced in about 15 minutes. Thank you!

You did all of that with one hand while aiming/holding the camera with the other! Nice job.

This is so helpful! Thank you - I've just had a headlight bulb fail and was wondering how fiddly it might be, but this is superb.

@@stay1429 Different market/model years. In North America, 2007-2008 were still the GD generation.
yup. you need to go under from the wheel well to get to it on teh 2008 in the USA
Thanks for the heads up. Mine is a 2007 and the instructions in this video would not have worked.
Agrees so sad haha

My 2008 Honda Fit has a completely different look under the hood. So sadly, no way this method works for me.
Thank you.😊
Just what I need. Thank you.
07 didn’t look anything like this method but thank you anyway
Thanks! But what about the orange one at the top?
Thank you!! This helped so much! We did it!
Thanks! This was helpful!
This is wrong on an 07. Cannot get at the back of the headlight from the engine compartment.
