I'm totally team galaxy watch classic, I too also had the gear S 3, the galaxy watch, watch 3 and soon to come galaxy watch 4 classic.
Ordered me the 46 galaxy classic. Like big watches
@@dalawjsteelakajessicahill7557 yes, and I said what's 1mm more and it doesn't feel bulky like the galaxy watch 3 did and I changed the watch band before I put it on.
In my opinion, the Galaxy Watch4 is the sportier version out of the two until you fit it with a leather strap and a classic watch face. Then it becomes the more classic out of the two models, because of it's cleaner / slimmer design.
I have the 40MM Watch 4 with a small band. It fits my small wrists perfectly, but I am not a fan of the new style bands.
I went ahead and picked up the green galaxy watch 4. Excited for the Wear OS integration

I've always had the more active style watches, but this time you've inspired me to go with the classic! I'm absolutely loving it so far. Got me the black one, though. This thing looks fantastic!
I guess you buy what you like. I had the Active 2 and love it. So I bought the sporty version. The watch band I HATED but I have tons of 20mm watch bands so I switched it and I’m happy. I ordered some new watch covers too and I can’t wait to get it to customize the watch some more.
Then I do use it when I do my workouts and it’s great!!

I am just like you, small wrist. I have always bought the classic. I like the bigger battery, and screen real estate associate with the larger watches. This year, I bought the 4, instead of the classic, for the simple reason this year, I get the same functionality, and the same screen size without the extra 2mm for the rotating bezel, which looks better on a smaller wrist. It was an easy choice for me. Great review brother, I appreciate the upload.

I have been using Samsung watches since the first Galaxy Watch came out. I had the 41mm Galaxy Watch 3 and decided to take advantage of the $250 credit Samsung offered when pre-ordering the S22 Ultra to "upgrade" to the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 42mm. Unfortunately, the battery life of the 4 was miserable compared to what I would get on the 3. I got less than a full day's charge on the 4 classic 42mm vs my 3, on which I could get at least a day and a half. That was with all the exact same features enabled/disabled, watch face, and apps loaded. Therefore I returned it to go for the larger watch with the larger battery.
I really liked the rotating bezel on the 3 and wanted to keep that, but the 46mm size of the larger one just seems too bulky for my wrist. I like look and durability of the stainless steel on the Classic vs. aluminum and prefer the look of the classic and the rotating bezel, but trying the 46mm on it just looks ridiculously large on my wrist. Therefore I've decided to go with the regular Galaxy Watch 4, 44mm. The watch 4 looks much smaller on the wrist and is much lighter than the Classic. It's amazing how much of a difference that extra 2mm makes.
I bought my Galaxy Watch Active 2 and order my custom bands right away. I love that the most about Samsung products, I get complimented so often on my watch because I have those beautiful shiny screen protectors to match. I wanted the Michael Kors smart watch for years, but now I am glad I got a galaxy watch instead, like having 100 watches in 1
I have the active 2 as well and it was the first off all of my smartwatches from Samsung that introduced me to watch face cases. All my bands preety much are on Amazon with a couple from eBay but not many.
Pls the black or the silver one for the galaxy watch4 classic 46mm which is more premium in terms of look. Thanks for your quick response 👍

MST still has me in Frontier camp. The Wear OS would be nice for things like Uconnect, but MST still is the biggest factor for me. Just need to figure out battery replacement. I'm too blind to do it myself.

@@amulyagupta8820 I'm happy with the battery life but I charge it every night and also don't wear it all day. I usually wear it for about 11 hours and it can get down to about 50%. I don't have any tips but just enjoy it and make it your own.

The flair out of the band is for the sensor to lay flush on your wrist
It's flat metal and glass. It's not going to bend no matter how tight the strap is.

I pre-ordered the Galaxy watch 4 after day one of the lunch and there were no Galaxy watch 4 classics available in LTE option, so I settle for just the watch 4 but I'm seeing that they have the LTE version in the classic as an option now so I need to update my order it sounds like.. Don't get the LTE version just yet. Even phone carrier stores are saying to avoid it. Too many problems with the software.
I really enjoyed my GW4 - looked nice, but I returned it after 45hrs because I didn't see a need for a "smartwatch" - the GW4 looks better than the classic one lol

The Galaxy watch looks just like my gear S3 from forever ago. Samsung hasn't done anything to update the aesthetics of the classic style watch. For this reason I went with the watch4 and it's so good
How does the classic look with a different band ,did you try that ,since you use another band for your watch 4 classic.

Samsung started that the watchband sits like that for better sensor contact with your skin.

I got both watches ,you have a small wrist because the watch 4 fits perfectly on my wrist , I don't have that gap that you showed on your video, you can't even put a needle between the gaps when I'm wearing the watch , so I always bought a classic watch but this time I'm sending that classic back and keep the watch 4 instead.

it’s possible disable bezel function to use it like dive watch or to track time elapse ? i mean = disable the bezel to dont go to menu when i turn or spin . I want that the bezel even rotating do not go to menu , i need to stay in pointers face to use tachymeter
The Best Buy Store Samsung rep stated today that the waterproof ratings are a bit different. I personally still like the Classic better even if the sport has a better water rating.

The band fans out on your wrist because your wrist is small. I have the exact same set up and it's perfect for my wrist.

Love my Watch 4, im glad I didn't get the classic, I didn't like the big bulky size from the last classic I had. The Watch 4 only comes with 1 band which sucks so I bought a $6 band from Amazon that is so much better and fits better. BTW not all active bands are like this, idk what Samsung was thinking 🙃

On the galaxy watch4 classic can u change the face cover to digital time? Or u cant do digital?
I looked up the bands and they both say for the Galaxy Watch 3. Did I miss something? I have the Galaxy Watch 4 46mm in black and would love to get a black band for it.
Just get 20mm bands....the ones I linked both work. A snug fit at the quick release pins but are working fine for me

I have owned alls Samsung watches. and currently wearing the galaxy watch 4 classic 46mm LTE. the only problem i have is with the state of third-party straps. that gap from the strap to the lugs is big and nasty it looks like the strap is hanging on and was not meant for the watch in fact it looks horrible.
Fun fact: the whole active line, including 1st gen, has had digital bezel scrolling! My wife had her 1st gen for over a year before she figured out that you can scroll with the digital bezel! 😆 Felt like nobody knew that first gen had it.
It was added in an update when the watch 2 was realised.
It's a shame these watches don't have MST.

I've always had Samsung phones, and I love the look of their new smartwatches, but the app layout is absolutely horrific. Unless there's a way to change it from that big messy pie without app labels to a regular list, I think I'll stick with my TicWatch Pro, even though the Wear OS on it is terrible.

I got both as well. Classic 46mm in silver and the 4 44mm in green. Upgraded from the Active 2 44mm. Glad that I can use all of my same watch bands but will have to get new protecters since they changed the shape of the buttons from round to rectangle. My only major gripe is that all of my old watche faces aren't transferable and I had a lot! Don't care for what's available right now. They have to do better on that front...

Good for you guys you can afford both! :) I took the 4 44mm in green, I like it but not a fan of the touch bezel. So I tried the Classic and now thinking of returning mine and get that one. However I'm not even sure what I will use it for, I have so many mechanical and solar watches I don't see yet how this will fit into my watch wearing habits. :) Also I got for free a 3in1 wireless Samsung charging pad with my Watch 4 pre-order so if I exchange to the Classic I might loose the free stuff. What would you do? :)

Can someone please help me with the Spotify app? I cannot browse/search songs nor can I see all of my music, playlists, etc. All I can see is recently played and what the app is suggesting. I also cannot seem to get the watch to play spotify via its speakers instead of connecting to a Bluetooth device. What gives? I've seen these features work on other watches.
You gotta pair spotify with your phone. And currently you can't play Spotify through your speakers unlike the Active 2.

Yes not having to carry a phone at the gym is great! Even though my flip 3 folds nicely into my pocket. It's also great for a backup phone in the event your phone dies and you don't have a charger! Or if you're out running and you don't want to take your phone. Good emergency device if you ask me

Looks almost as good as my real James Cameron 😜 Loving my Z fold 3 and these watches look awesome too but once you get a real mechanical watch there's no going back to a smart one.
I have all kinds of high-end automatic and quartz watches, but I tend to wear the smart watches more often because I like to see my notifications on the fly and answer a call when my hands aren't free to have my phone up to my ear (I'm not the type to have wireless earbuds in my ears all the time). Most of the features I would rather use on my phone screen than on a watch screen, and I don't really use it for exercise. I wish Pebble wouldn't have sold out to Fitbit. They just needed a fresher design, but had better battery life on their monochrome watches than any other brand.

Honestly I think that was a Tizen feature and now we are on Wear OS...I don't see an option for it
