    Hey...for daytime sword would using mono be ok? Or does it have to be braid? Cheers man

    • @almcglashan
      @almcglashan  4 года назад +1

      You can use mono but you loose all sensitivity so it’s a lot harder to detect a bite

    What gives the swordfish such impressive stamina to consistently fight for hours?

    • @almcglashan
      @almcglashan  3 года назад

      I think its there sheer girth that makes them so tough

    Cheers for in sight. Would you consider setting the hook while the rod is in the holder IGFA legal?

    • @almcglashan
      @almcglashan  4 года назад

      You mean like trolling lures and you hook up? I’m not sure when the hook is set 500m down with the belly and weight

      @@almcglashan more like when you get a bite and you wind tight and continue to wind until the rod loads up. Once tight the angler then takes the rod from the holder and places it in the harness. Im not sure if that is entirely IGFA legal. Cheers

    Your home setting needs acoustic treatment for reverberation, difficult to understand.

      your room needs sound absorbing materials, drapes, rugs, wall hangings. I have a recording studio treated properly, btw.
