    The only swordfish u catch are the ones that hook themselves....I give u a little tip. On the initial bite hook them with 20kg of true drag to set the hook. Then the fish will come to surface. When topshot is on the reel the sword will then turn and dive and then use around 12kg to 15kg of drag. There is no sense in hooking a large sword with light drag for 3 hours only to up the drag and pull the hook. Prove your hook set in the first instance then be comfortable knowing u are connected. There is still a lot more to sword fishing then meets the eye, the more u do the more you learn
