Bermagui has from info I’ve found has been getting consistent swordfish in the last few years with more people getting into it with daytime dropping, for NSW at least Bermagui has slowly becoming a daytime swordfishing spot.

I caught one about the first baby size you got 1 mile off sydney in 60 mtr of water. Fishing for kings on a live squid about 8am.
So jealous. Always wanted a swordfish
I would be spewing if my fish of a lifetime got off a few metres from the boat too. Young fella handled it well.
