- This is the third video in a 3-part video series on the Lindgren-Pitman SV-1200 electric reel. In part one, we provided a behind the scenes view of all the tooling and manufacturing that goes into building the best deep water electric reel on the market. From there, part 2 in the series took us to RJ Boyle Studio in Lighthouse Point to demonstrate how to properly spool the reel and make the wind-on connection. And for this video, it was finally time to get offshore and put the reel through its paces. I was joined by Tim Pickett a LP engineer and accomplished swordfisherman as well as Drew Kettlehut who is rumored to spend more time on the sword grounds than his bed! Tim and Drew do a great job of explaining a number of the features and benefits of the SV-1200 so be sure to watch the video all the way through! And last but not least, make sure you smash that SUBSCRIBE button so we can continue bringing you epic videos every week! Action, Adventure, Education....it's what we do!

I like those Shimano Thunnus Baitrunners!
wish you have shown the buoy laid over.
The tip rod is deployed first while the boat is in gear going with the current until the lead hits bottom, then the boat is turned and slack taken up? The educational vids are great!
You got it! Once the lead hits bottom we generally retrieve it a couple hundred feet or so and then will go back to bottom again to take a little more belly out of the line. Once that’s done we’lll reel it up about 50 to 100 feet off the bottom and fish it in that range
@@fishbluewater awesome, thank you for the reply!
But that LP whooped it’s Ass!!
No doubt!
Terrible language
The moment gets the best of people some times but we will do a better job of trying to bleep that out in the future!
