- This video is tour the quilts that where on display during the fall folk festival in my local area third weekend in October of 2023. Local quilt shows are a wonderful celebration of creativity and craftsmanship within the community. Such a beautiful display. This is a lost art. I have several family members who quilt along with a couple of friends. I know the cost involved as well as TIME! It’s a piece if history. I cherish the quilt my mother in law made me for my wedding… my children all have quilts from her. To me it’s a legacy. Something to cherish. Precious moments spent on each thread.

If I won the mega ball I'd be buying materials and making quilts.😂😂 I'd love to go to the quilt museum in Paducah, KY. Wow! They are all so pretty. I love the stitching on the one quilt with the star sewing - What a fun time! I like to sell, but I can’t sew a straight line to save my life! Everyone is so talented - what a beautiful, God-given gift!

Oh my goodness thank you so very much for this video. I used to be president of a quilt group years ago in Virginia. I learnt to sew and quilt at 8 years old. You will never know how much this touched my heart. Sending love and prayers to you my friend,

Very beautiful quilts! I usually go to the Mennonite relief sale at Easter time at the farm show. My Mom enjoys listening to the old quartets, and most of all the food. Thanks for sharing!

The cat quilt was my mother n laws. I didn’t get one done this year.

No I didn’t any finished in time. I should have some next year.
I like the .25 a jar idea! We just got the news last night that one of our sons brought home their adopted baby! We are so thrilled and blessed! Now to find a pattern to make a baby quilt. :)

My mother-in-law made me a large quilt that has Sunflowers on it and the quilting is so beautiful.
I guess, l picked out one that had alot of pieces to it. Lol.. l do not quilt and had no idea. She had me choose which one l wanted her to make.
She is gone now. But, I just love it and will cherish it always. 🌻
