Genuinely this how we all test our new synths, l loved this per patch mess around & without having to deep dive the menus. Shout out to the demonstrator 👍🙂
I should be getting mine tomorrow. Pretty curious to see to what extent I can make is sound like a Model D. Will be testing against my Behringer one, which admittedly isn't quite the same thing, but it does get pretty close. In this demo I can already hear that the Moog sound is definately there!
Lmao. Why would you write this message assuming this person’s funds. Pretty sure if they bought it they can afford it. Are you saying cuz they bought a Behringer Model D they probably are living pay check to pay check? Lol
Great demo. I'll be sticking with my Moog One for now, as this is still a downgrade to the One. But I can understand if someone else sells their One for the Muse. It seems to be more for players than synth patch creators. Not having polyphonic aftertouch is still wild to me. And I agree with someone else in other comments; it sounds more like a Jupiter 8 than a Moog. Which isn't bad. Unless you view it as a bad thing.
@@RayyMusik I agree, it sounds nothing like an JP-8 or any Roland for that mater. The Muse clearly has the Moog filter and oscillator sounds. It reminds me more of my Moog Voyager, but then polyphonic and more versatile than the Voyager. I also have a Roland JP-6 and Juno 60 which have the same filter chips as the JP-8 (although used differently in the JP-6 to make it multi-mode). But they sound quite a bit different from the Moog filter.
I have a strange feeling about it, it's not a moog at all, it plays like a 60-year-old farfisa and even worse; the sound reminds me of releasing bees in the spring, I'm disappointed
I don't think it's really 'overpriced', but rather your expectation of what such a synth should cost is manipulated by how Behringer has flooded the market with cheap in China produced synths, which are build to lower quality standards than what premium brands like Moog, Oberheim and Sequential put on the market.

Definitely one of the better demos of this
Awesome demo.
That is the raw basic sound I wanted to hear right at 0:44.
Then that moog sound @ 11:03
7:17 - is this what I think it is?

If you are living paycheck to paycheck you might reconsider buying this.
Well… it is a Moog 🙈

8:00 pure Wendy Carlos 😊
Does the Muse pull of bass/sub sounds like the Subsequent 37?
I can hear Aphex twin SAW2
Berwen lower yang cantik
7:27 sounds like Aphex Twin.
I’d pay 3400 for this any day before a prophet (any model)
Beginning sounds Oberheim.
That filter is sweet isn't it.
im not getting money until next week and its gonna be sold out everywhere :,(
He had a great sound at 18:34 and quickly changed it.
🤣
Yes it had the nice almost parallel filter goodness to it.

I don‘t hear any resemblance to a JP-8. The Muse sounds like a Moog - and IMHO moogier than the One.
sounds like a memory moog to me, it sounds even a bit better from what i can tell thus far.
@@snuppssynthchannel After playing it for 3 hours: yes, it can sound like a Memorymoog, but it is by far more versatile.

It reminds me of the Matriarch
Have you had any issue with the muse freezing? My unit can’t go for more than 10 mins without freezing up
I hear a lot of interesting and unusual sounds on this synthesizer. But I don't hear any music.
The music must come from the player.

Straight trippin bro
@@BullyMaguire4ever I'm very disappointed, they made a failure, I don't know, not a single sound is usable
@@victorvargas49Sorry, but that says more about you than the Muse.
Yeah, no shit, for sure!@@spurv
Preach!
More overpriced music tech because it's MOOG
Why is it over priced? It’s actually priced very reasonably for a Moog… people can’t wait to complain
The Minimoog is $5,000, brother. This is $3,500. They could have made this $6,000 if they wanted.

How when the prophet 6 cost the same and has less?
@@lovehalfblack9420the Trigon 6 costs more and has way less do love my Trigon 6 and have pulled the trigger on the muse 🎉
