They need to make those ice machines parts with less crevices so they can get cleaned easier.
gas pressure washer with spinner nozzle would clean it pretty fast.... 🤣🤣🤣 problem solved

i’m working at a bar restaurant. watching super dave’s videos makes me feel a lot better about the cleanliness of our operations
HOWEVER our scotsman ice maker is broke. we’ve been buying bagged ice to compensate. our owner breaks up the ice bags on the floor then pours them in the bin immediately, black residue all over the bag

These ice machine need to stay maintained i just cannot understand why buy them an just forget to clean them up at list twice a year will make a big difference scrubbadouski
They can literally run cleaner and sanitizer once a month if you don't want to pay a tech. As a reef tech, no ice, please. They think cuz its just water it's ok.

I actually don’t mind working on those Chinese made units evaporator covers are easy to remove and 90% of the time you don’t have to remove those all the way . Also plenty of room to install the new cap tubes . Good video Dave 👍🏼
Really enjoy these videos man, as a new guy to doing kitchen refer you make it look super easy. Been working on some Atosa stuff and they are just complete junk. had to order a condenser fan motor for a freezer the other day because I didnt have any ECM motors left on my truck, when I came back the controller had stopped outputting voltage to the evap fans. Just junk all around

last cleaned the day it left the factory. 🤣🤣 sure looked that way, but certainly you've cleaned it in the past. lol must be some very good water and air quality in there

I see the health inspectors are afraid to go into certain restaurants in that hell hole state also. The hard water buildup isn’t the problem, it’s the lab culture experiment going on.

Could you please share your insights on Scotch-Brite pads? I have heard concerns that they may leave fine scratches on plastic surfaces, potentially making them more susceptible to mold and slime accumulation. I hope this isn't true, as I am considering using them for my clients' equipment.

Probably the orings on the fountain valve mounting block leaking, or maybe the actual valve leaking. Hard to believe that a coke tech was there and didn't clean the drip tray or the area around the ice chute!😮
They told the customer it’s the ice machine. I didn’t find anything pointing to the ice machine
@@NorCal-refrigeration probably a Friday near quitting time and they never even looked at it past seeing a tiny bit of water at the ice machine to bin area. lol

Yea, i'm the same boat. that's why i'm asking. All Garbage ! in the old days id just install same machine and go another 15 years. i need one that's service able from the side like the ice0520 in there is. i'll have to see if the new iceomatic ice0520 22" wide are serviced from the same side.
