fantastick , thanks . "Haynes" strikes again . im struggling to crank wheel on 2004 dead 1500 with 2 flats frozen in ground and looking for the 2 holes in the rear ( dash side to push ) . got fooled again by them . should have come here first , saved my fingers from freezing . FFS. thanks again
Pretty good tutorial. I have a question though for my situation: I have a 2003 Sierra that only has one color wire connection to the airbag (yellow). I want to swap in a Chevy airbag from an 05-09 Trailblazer but it has two connections like yours. I assume I can plug in the yellow connector from my truck into the pink slot of the Trailblazer airbag, but what is the white slot on the airbag for? I assume I don't need it since it's not on my current GMC airbag, but I'd like to be certain before I make the swap. Any help/info you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks.
So doing left right will actually prevent this from happening meaning if you go LRLRLR or UDUDUD it will slowly come off so no need to leave the nut on as long as you let the notch slide and not yank it
Real helpful video brother.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and helped out thanks for watching
Very helpful! thank you! got what I needed done, done
Looks simple enough, thanks
Good vido, perhaps he should have mentioned disconnecting the battery first as a safety measure.
He did mention it
He literally did 🤣
Thanks for the video

I'm glad this video helped you out. Thank you for the comment. I really appreciate it.
Any way I could add heated steering wheel to my 06 sierra with infotainment controls?
Sorry, I'm not sure. Anything is possible
How long should you wait till after the battery is disconnected before removing the airbag?
10 minutes.
Or, if you'd rather not wait, you can turn the headlight switch on and hold down the horn button for a few seconds...
Great video, thank you.
Do i have to keep the steering column straight to no mess it up
Nevermind I adjusted it correctly

The Air bag is different for 04 and up even though it might look the same.
@@fscott9921 Yeah, I just swapped the skin.
Best video

Ok, but what was the tool used to pop open the wire harness?
Just a trim tool. You buy them at Harbor Freight usually they're not too expensive
Is it different on an 01 Yukon?
I like u sir❤
wow lucky it didn't pop you in the face, you should leave nut on and work steering wheel by pulling on left side then right back and forth afew times
So doing left right will actually prevent this from happening meaning if you go LRLRLR or UDUDUD it will slowly come off so no need to leave the nut on as long as you let the notch slide and not yank it
@playeroneunknown4897 what if you go UUDDLRLRBAStart?
