Rex's eyes said it all. He was alone, and ill, losing hope, but not the will to live. A big thank you to Rex's owner friend and the Dr who refused to put Rex down. Such a gorgeous boy, all he needed is a chance and lots of love and care. Paws crossed for the best outcome possible. What a beautiful mini-doc, can't wait for part 2.
It is heart-rending to see animals in that condition. Thank you for putting the spotlight on welfare organisations that help those that cannot ask for help. And thans to HAWS for giving Rex a chance
I was so relieved to learn at the end of the video that Rex was eating and drinking. Despite being in a dreadful state, his eyes are bright and full of hope. I pray he pulls through. This is a wonderful place. I imagine some days end sadly but others full of relief and joy. Thank you Hermien for introducing us to HAWS. 💖🙏
Thanks for watching Jan! 🦮 And to think these people have no government help. Yet there are smiles and laughter and hope. I’ll keep you posted on Rex. 🌸
@diaryofanelephantorphan Thanks Hermien Would be grateful for updates on Rex. Warms my heart that there are still kind and caring folk out there. No Government help but they still do everything they can to help these animals. 🧡🙏
I’m very glad to see that they spay the animals before they are adopted. Also thank you showing the dog eating at the end. I pray he survives but even if he doesn’t, he will know someone cared enough to try.
🥰🌈🌿🐾Lovely Rex, thankful he has been given a fighting chance to thrive. These organisations, such as HAWS, are such a good and positve lifeline, for the animals they care for. Thank you for highlighting their work
Thank you so much for sharing. And for the hearts of compassion that help all those you take care of daily at HAWS. I worked in the Veterinary field for many years and it was absolutely my passion. Very difficult at times, but also very rewarding! Blessings.🐾💝🐶💝🐈💝
Thank you Hermien for this clip. There are so many unwanted pets everywhere. I was happy to see that Rex is staring to eat and is drinking. Any word on Khaynisa's 🐘 story coming to Florida yet? Have a wonderful day ❤️
Hi Hermien👋 Nice to "see" you👍🤭 Thank's for sharing HAWS + HANDSOME REX with us👍💙🐶 I really LOVED IT when the DR. looked at the man who brought REX in + said "PLEASE" Let me try the DRIP for 24hrs. I hear you. Various reasons though from what I’ve seen. Like the one lady said: “there is a fate worse than death” But at least there is so much hope in what these guys do 🌸
We saw Rex this morning. He is still skinny but he looks so much better. Thank you to the Staff at HAWS for your hard work.
They do work hard! That’s a fact 👌🌸

Hi Dorothy 🌸 🤗 Rex is a trooper! Everyone is rooting for him! 🙏 Nope unfortunately nothing on Florida yet I am afraid! Sorry 🥴🌸
@@diaryofanelephantorphan thank you for letting me know. Should I periodically check back with you on Khanyisa's film?
@@diaryofanelephantorphan Please tell us Rex isn't going back to his owner who wanted him to be euthanized and was nearly demanding you do it.
Thank you so much. I really like your videos.

Thanks and hi Mary 🌸😊 Yes Rex is in good hands now. I can’t wait for him to be running and rolling and playing again 🙌🤩
What i dont understand why most people so fast putting down animals right away they never give them a chance
