If similar problems exist in Iran and Pak and other countries, you need to relook at culture Vs religion

Problem with conservatism is intolerance. Extreme of anything is bad because who decides what interpretation of religion is to be followed. A balanced society is needed to maintain dignity of choice.

ever thought why muslim clergy are so against women rights 🤔?
from where they draw there ideas ?
you should look deeper , cuz by my personal research and reading tells me that clergy are using islamic theology to back their claims ,
all religions have some practices which can't be followed today ,so reform is needed with time ,
my view is culture and religion are very much intertwined

A religion should be able to hold the test of time and be applicable always. Its inaccurate interpretation and manipulation of religion that results in this. Abuse of knowledge and power is what causes most of societal issues. The religion is very pro woman from my knowledge and understanding

@@safasliceoflife well I'm not so sure about "interpretation " term which you are focusing on, cuz I'm interested in religious theology and ancient philosophies , and iv read many theology including islamic one , once again I'll suggest you to read theology from primary sources, there are both good verses as well as bad verses in islamic theology, you might pick some good verse about women but many pick those bad verses too ,
no theology can remain static reformation with time is needed , cuz some laws and knowledge of those times can't be applied today ,
Christianity also had some regressive verses in old testament which can't stand today's time so enlightenment period came in Europe and new testament came as a reform , im agnostic
I'm not against religion cuz I do believe philosophically religion provides that inherent need of human being called hope , in bad depressing moments you need hope to overcome, and world is cruel so we need hope , but reformation is also needed according with time

Education cannot replace faith, modern education is based on logic and reason Religion is where logic and reason die.
Not to spread hate your religion says that women have half intellect, why would anyone take you seriously

Where does it say that? As a muslim woman i am a lot more educated than my male counterparts. Knowledge and science support islam

If women are given freedom as per framework of Islam in Islamic republic of Pakistan, what's the issue???
Also as I do see Pakistan isn't as conservative as Saudi Arabia is and women should be happy about it.
Imagine they have to wait for a man to accompany them to market.

    • @safasliceoflife
      @safasliceoflife  Год назад

Women are not actually given their freedoms back home in pakistan. They are restricted by cultural and societal pressures. No where in islam does it say you need to be accompanied to go to the market

@@safasliceoflife You realise it's a big confusion in world what Islam is and allows.
Because to the world who popularly represents/nominates Islam?
Saudi Arabia that holds two holy sites.
And new contender like Al-Quida, Taliban. (I know Quran should, but think off this from perspective of an average illiterate person who can't read Arabic, Muslim or Non-Muslim and who's only source of information is paid media or news)
Now these ppl who supposedly represent Islam have way more restrictions for women than Pakistan.
How an average Pakistani guy would know what's true Islam is? He would just go by what's told by community leaders.
There was a Pakistani movie named "Khuda ke lia", in which there was a dialogue by Nasiruddin Shah on relationship of Dadi and Deen. That dialogue was chopped off from movie in Pakistan.
The need of hour is for right ppl to nominate Islam and translate it's true definition.
Because until your comment I also thought Islam doesn't allow women to go out alone.
