I’m assuming when Asim left after trying to persuade Bisma to marry him one last time was right after Behzad (Nashwa’s dad) death. At that point Asim mentions to Bisma he’ll get custody of Nashwa when Bisma rejects his proposal based on the fact that she won’t be able to live with the guilt of abandoning her daughter and leaving her with her fathers family. So therefore we can assume the last time Asim saw Bisma, Nashwa was a little girl. Considering Nashwa has very little memory and love for her dad reinforces this factor that Nashwa was very young when her dad passed away. It could actually be over 15-20 years later that these two are reuniting hence why Asim doesn’t recognise Nashwa and vice versa. Also yes Asim, Behzad (Nashwa’s dad), Bakhtiyar and Bisma are all first cousins. Bisma married her mamu’s son but loved her younger mamu’s son (Asim). This makes the daadi and Bijaan sister in laws and hence Bisma’s mum is Asim, Behzad and Bakhtiyar’s phupo. On the other side you have Sidra (Bakhtiyar’s wife) and Qudsia (Sidra’s sister whose coming from Canada) who are the first cousins of Bakhtiyar and Behzad as her mother in law (daadi) is her Khala. Baisically the daadi was evil and got her older son who is in good health married to her own niece whilst getting her sick son (Behzad was ill from childhood) married to her husbands niece. I think they all knew Behzad wasn’t going to live long so she thought whose going to marry him and decided her husbands niece would be the perfect option and I think it was mentioned the daadi was helping out Bisma and her mum (perhaps financially as it looks like Bisma’s dad died when she was young?) so they repaid her in favour.

This is such a good self-awareness challenge mashaAllah. I know my screen time is slowly creeping up and although I've added addressing it to my To-Do list, I've not put in steps to a) learn how bad it is and b) try to minimise it. I keep making excuses to myself such as I'm up feeding my newborn or pumping so therefore stuck in one place and having my phone keeps me sane but as I'm not working at a screen for 8 hours a day for work at the moment, that shouldn't be replaced by a phone! Thanks for the reminder.

Understand what Salah is first. Pls research the Qur'an.

I tend to delay my Salaah (not pray immediately) when the athaan goes off. What has helped me, is like you said, trying to keep wudoo. This year I want to try to make wudoo before the time for prayer comes in to make it easier inshaAllah. I know having wudoo all the time is difficult for me so I think this is a good alternative. What has also helped me is making Jamaat salaah with my husband. He tends to make as soon as the athaan goes off and knowing we’ll make together motivates me too. It also helps me to keep up with my sunnah salaahs. Nice video, mashaAllah.

One thing i hate about direction is that in this scene 25:55 nashwa and her friend are talking on the ground floor and nashwa's baray abba can hear them clearly from the first floor meanwhile in the scene where the police inspector is telling about ammar's kartoots loudly in front of 50 people, nobody can hear him.🥴
