I have a 2021 Xtrada 7 coming in next week, along with new pedals and a dropper post. I'll keep the grips and tires for now we'll see how they perform.
Got my Polygon Xtrada Seven blue and yellow last week for £599 bargain, bit of tweaking and will be upgrading the bars and stem and headset with Nukeproof, plus going tubeless and dropper post 😉🤙
@@aaronbehindbars no its a thru axle frame but there is a notch below the axle hole on the brake side. I never had a bike with a thru axle so it mite suppose to be there. I thought maybe the notch was a defect or something
This bike is XL. I'm 6'1". Stock tires are 29 x 2.25. I have installed some Specialized 29 x 2.3 tires which measure closer to 2.5 and they fit easily. Could ppssibly squeeze a 2.6 in as long as it doesn't measure wider.
It comes with some very basic plastic pedals. They're ok for a liesurely ride around the block, nothing more. I show them in this video as I go theough the contents of the box. Look towards the end around 7:45
Not my pick But it is a very well specced hardtail for a thousand dollars... I am still a bit old school and prefer 2× cranks and 10 speed for a total of 20 gears.. No standard for through axles such as boost and super boost ...etc... can be a pain especially if the front and back are not the same standard...
I suspect the mismatched hub standards might have more to do with what parts Polygon was able to get larger quantities of due to all the parts shortages.
Thanks for making this video! Hope you're still enjoying this one!

I bought a 2020 xtrada 7 and noticed a notch in the frame under the back axle on the brake side. Is that suppose to be there?
I believe the Xtrada 7 was redesigned for 2021, so your frame is different than mine.
I made a mistake its not 2020 its 2022
@@andrewduggan1961 Are you maybe seeing the notch or slot that allows the rear hub end caps to move into and out of the frame?

Nice bike.. I see it's a XL size. How tall are you? I'm about 6' with long arms and wondering if that size would work for me...
What size and tires size? And what's your height? Trying to order

Does it come with pedals or do you have to buy separately

Great bike, but dang it's an ugly color. Why Polygon??
