That's a nice simple looking unit, which is what we really need. The keys to success are in the battery life, readability in sunlight, and that it records with no errors (nothing like losing a ride because of a corrupted data file) I'll be interested to hear the long term results for something at a pretty good price point 👍
Indeed! You can adjust the "daylight" brightness and also set it to auto brightness. Looking forward to using this on super long endurance rides to test the data. One the thing the Wahoo Bolt has over this unit is the buttons feeling more "tactile". While the buttons on the iGS630 are reassuring, they are far easier to press. For better or for worse.
This is the sort of unit that is right up my alley. Has all relevant fields you will need, good battery, clear screen that's customisable and last and not least its actually affordable if you aren't a dentist.
I like it. Been using it over my Wahoo Bolt v2 (updated color version). I’m still getting accustomed to the interface versus Wahoo, but the overall experience is simply more clearer and snappier.
@@PatrickLino Also i much prefer having physical buttons over a touch screen. In my experience gloves and riding in the wet just make it a nightmare to use.
hey thanks for posting that video. I just got my igs630 today, I'm having issues the gps connecting, I know there is a few different gps signals to choose from. which one do you recommend?
Hi. So you've done this video a year ago even more and how is it going? Are you still using it? Mainly interested in battery life and software lags glitches - how stable it is. Thank you!
The battery life is still fantastic. No glitches other than having a freeze moment during a ride in the winter last month. But that can happen to any computer in the colder weather.
What about visibility outdoor, especially that sunny day in February? I can't see sh*t of my Garmin 530's screen with my photochromatic glasses. Is iGS630's screen better? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for such a good positive report..I'm looking for a alternative cycling computer than Garmin. My Garmin 1000 is now absolete, and I don't want to spend that amount of money for a cycling computer . My question to you, I use RWGPS, AND CREATE my own maps, to be uploaded into my cycling computer. How well does the navigation function? Has cues too? Or just maps?? Thank for your comparison report.
I've had one since December - I've been doing everything I can to contact the manufacturer, but they're making no effort. I can't upload a route, I can't connect to the PC - never worked, and still performed as they prescribe!! Who please help me??? 🥵
The only question I have for all these computers is: Does it have offline maps? And can I pre-load a route in it? I think Karoo has that killer feature.
Hi there - Sorry, the only radar light I've used and currently use is the Magene L508. But yep the head unit has audible cues of approaching vehicles. And you can turn the cues on/off.
I got this thing I hated it, it is the most unintuitive gadget I have ever purchased in my life, I couldn't get it to set up to use the navigation at all.
Shout out to global warming!

Thanks for the review. Clear and informatif. I think this product is good and dompetebel😂
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the review. So many options out there. Do you have a computer that you prefer?
The two mentioned in the video 👍🏾

Yup it's plenty bright. And you can set it to auto-adjustment too

Hey there! Let me report back to you
What I m looking for is A Cue display of the turns, along with a map. Or, two display windows to scroll. My riding is multi state ridin.
I've had one since December - I've been doing everything I can to contact the manufacturer, but they're making no effort. I can't upload a route, I can't connect to the PC - never worked, and still performed as they prescribe!! Who please help me???

Hows your battery still? My battery indicator seems stuck (or it’s ridiculously good)
I did a 150 mile ride, and battery was still at like 80%. Turn by turn directions too
@@PatrickLino how tf do they do it?!
@PeakTorque sub par software that doesn’t tax the CPU/memory
@@PatrickLino magenes c606 sub par software does tax the battery 😉

Yup you can preload routes 👍🏾
What is the long term review , battery life, map accuracy, gps connectivity, screen quality etc ?
All really good
Patrick, I know this is a year later, but did you ever try this head unit with a Garmin Varia? Are the sound cues of approaching vehicles audible?
Hi there - Sorry, the only radar light I've used and currently use is the Magene L508. But yep the head unit has audible cues of approaching vehicles. And you can turn the cues on/off.
@PatrickLino Cool. Then I'm sure it would be the same with the Varia. By the way, I like the Magene power meter.
@@stuartdryer1352 The Magene power meter is a fantastic value. I love what Magene has been doing in recent years. Thanks for watching!

@@PatrickLino one more question Brother, does it comes with speed and cadence sensors?
What would you reccomend for pairing with a cadence sensor??
Most cycling computers will pair with a cadence sensor.
Seems like it does the job 👌🏾🥸
Reviews like these, the main objective is that it "just works" and is consistent.
Does it allow for multiple bike profiles?
Yup. Although I don’t use that feature myself
