- After a few months with the FX30 I have been continuously impressed with how will it performs. The only drawback I have found is lowlight scenes (blue hour, and campfire scenes) where the second base ISO of 2500 struggles. But for its price, it packs a serious punch.

Wow the atmosphere is amazing
Love these shots! Great work 👏
Color grade and sound design are 🔥
Thank you!
This looks awesome!
THIS WAS DAMN beautiful !!!
Beautiful work!
Really enjoyed this dude. Makes me long for the desert. That fx30 footage is crisp as well.
Thanks dude! Very impressed with the FX30, however due to convenience of lens options, and 12,800 secondary ISO base, i might be switching it for an FX3 👀
Your cinematography is amazing ❤
Really appreciate that thank you
Beautiful shots 👍🏻 very nice video
Wow, very clean. Amazing!
Thank you!
beautiful!
Great video. It feels good.
yes Jonny - killed it
The vibes are immaculate
Thank you sir. Excited for the next trip!
This is so much better than straight 60fps 120fps shots
Good vibes 🔥
Good vibes only!
Nice match with this lens.👍
Thank you!
nice subtle moves
Looks like a good time mate
time in the desert is always a good time as i'm sure you already know!!
Nice
Well done on the video! Do you have any downloadable clips I'd be able to grade? Considering the fx30 atm. Ty!
Hey nice shots man. Do you know how to set the fx30 to do slowmo in 24p 4KDCI? Thanx 🙂
Beautiful! A little DaVinci NR and I have found ISO 6400 to be very useable…
Agreed! I just wish NR didn’t lag so hard 😅
This is really clean footage did use noise reduction or something?
Best clip of the video is the one I filmed by the river you majestic boi
😍😍
Awesome vibe! Really appreciate the background sounds. Can I ask what mic you used to capture them?
I have the sony shotgun mic that attaches to the XLR handle! Scenes where I couldn’t capture sound I added it in post
Ignoring the green and gray comment (cause that is a terrible summary for this video) it appears incredibly cinematic with the colors
Directed by Wes Anderson 😅 well done! Awesome colors
Great shots and color grading. Was wondering what font did you use on your video? Thank you.
Pioggia! Thanks for your kind words
noob question, is this camera recording direcly like this or are you editing the colours?
What’s the aspect ratio dimensions on this??
I agree, the 2500 ISO is weak and noisy. But at 800 ISO it is a dream camera
may I ask what aspect ratio this is? looks great! amazing visuals!
16:9
Nice video. I have a question what is happening to the background in 0:58? is like the mountains are bending
He probably used Premier and warp stabilizer which would cause these effects
Jonny Roams what is the font you used?
what lens did you use?
😊😊😊❤❤
What editing app you use
Wow where's is that spot?
Wish Nikon would release some cinema focused cameras. I hate Sony’s color science and UI, let’s see what the Z6 III will offer, otherwise I’d have an FX30 next to my Z6 II. The Z8 seems like a great all in one with 8K RAW, but, I want that low light capability that the Z8 can’t offer with its worse signal to noise ratio.
Where it is??? Colorado?
Did you use an ND filter for this video?
Yeah polar pro VND/mist filters
Very nice video;where this place;please
Did you see the weirdness in the mountains in the background at :55 seconds
Probably warp stabilizer
Nice Gransfors Bruk axe :)
Hey guys I just bought the fx30 it’s my first camera and I can’t get any good footage the quality is trash I tried every setting in RUclips helpppp
Filters and different lenses my man dive in the web and watch some videos here on RUclips 🤘
I changed the lens the quality is pretty good 😊 ty 😍
how can you promote this camera when it can be seen how the mountain warps because of the amount of post stabilization applied... (oppinion as an owner myself)
You'll have the same problem on the competitor (sony a7c) imo
@@franz9191 well, it's not really a competitor, as it's from the same brand :) I can see why the performance is similar in this aspect
I see no warping. But you answered your own question, it’s stabilization done in post, and if there’s too much shaky movement it’ll warp a bit. I’m not the most stable when filming and a gimbal would resolve that
@@JonnyRoams thanks, I meant no offence personally :) I'm just a little dissapointed from the ibis myself as an owner. Best wishes!
@@ps-films nah none taken! I’m in the same boat haha
Everything looks green and gray.
Might want to get your eyes checked because there’s a lot of orange in this 😉
Those oranges look cartoonish, like a Wile e coyote episode. And look at the fire scene, it's all gray!
@@hector5851 thanks for the feedback Hector 😊
This dude is just a troll. Don’t pay attention. Loving the footage.
Dude you should be able to take constructive criticism. I agree with him. @@JonnyRoams
Oh 😢 the image still looks plastic compared to Sony PMW F3
Denoise AI works wonders.
i don't see any cinematic footage here, looks like a$$
Thousands of people disagree with you. Let’s see your work pal.
How did you get such a wide aspect, is that a special lense?
Nah I just added a top and bottom crop to force that aspect!
