all of your tone is just eq. if you gave every single amp a flat eq they would all sound the same
@@dtrmntsNo they would not. Saturation(distortion) is not working the same way in every amp… Adds different harmonics and shapes waveform differently(soft clipping, hard clipping)
@@yigit_kuru Saturation happens after eq. So if the eq is completely flat on every amp they would all sound the same saturated as well. This is all completely besides the point i was making anyways. Your just being contradictory for the sake if it.
@@dtrmnts bruh, there is no way its just EQ, otherwise meshuggah would just be using fender amps. different amps do indeed have different harmonic and distortion signatures. id say tone is even more the cab / ir than the EQ.
@@josephperkins-z7n all sound is just frequencies. If you use eq to make all the freqs line up than every amp will sound the same.

The blackout skin is great, and the plugin is and has always been amazing. Its extra for sure. The thing is I wish the blackout version was the second version of the nameless (unless they are the same amp with a different look?) But overall amazing.
They are essentially the same amp.

Oh man, that amp gave me huge carcass tone at times, I love the update, and wish the transposer feature would be integrated to all other amps. I have to use another VST for this exact purpose

25:29 Can someone explain in detail why is this a necessity when working with 2 IRs? I've never found this useful personally. If I ever engage it while having both microphones active, the sound almost disappears and all I hear is some sort of white noise.
It's important mostly for IRs that aren't the base one
Some external IRs phase alignment will be different from the included ones and so phase cancellation will happen (as some phase cancellation is always happening)
But for some IRs the phase cancellation is too high, usually resulting in a sound with the low end scooped
Sometimes depending on the particular IR, inverting the phase can actually result in less phase cancellation happening
Its not something you'll use often
But occasionally it might crop up with 3rd party IRs and it's nice to have the option

they posted about that. beta is coming within the next 1-2 weeks as far as im aware.
I suspect these plugins are being released as updated versions exactly for that reason so they’re compatible which is clearly imminent

What’s the reason for avoiding an eight string, and very low tunings for a meshuggah amp?
What is this volume pumping on some pick attacks? is this being compressed afterwords?
I think it’s you hyper focusing too hard on the mix. Most mixes have some sort of pumping from the compressor typically when there are more aggressive transients. Now sit back, breathe, and enjoy the video 🎉
@@phokyew699 I mean, this was supposed to demo the plugin, right? There should be no "mix" to speak of, specially not one that sounds detrimental to the plugin for a significant portion of the demo.
Now I don't know how the transients of the plugin are supposed to sound due to this. If I wanted to chill and enjoy the moment, it wouldn't be watching a 1 hour video/tutorial on a plugin, I would be listening to some actual music. The goal of this video is clearly to inform, not entertain, so I feel like it makes a lot of sense to be bothered by a problem like this.

I love this amp, but no matter what I do, I can’t get the static hiss sounds out of my 8 string. I’ve literally tried everything I can think of: mess with both gates, input level, sit away from my laptop, cables….still, with a coil tapped heavy tone, I can’t get it to play nice. But I have no issues in Gojira X.
I've got my interface set at minimum gain and reduced the gain in the standalone plugin but still clipping ....same on my Plini ....sacraficing volume then too ....what am I doing wrong please ?

I actually got confused using this because I wanted a clean tone and couldn't figure out how to do it, then it donned on me that this is one amp, unlike the archetype plug-ins which have multiple. Felt like such an idiot.

I love the Gojira X but the Nameless X is my new favorite
Yeah I love both, gojira x was my main, but I think this will become my new main. I think gojira still does higher tuned metalcore better, if I’m tuned drop c or higher I’ll stick with the gojira, but drop b and lower I’ll use this one. Both fantastic plugins
