Was literally just rewatching Buster’s 2020 Humanity’s Last Breath NTM where he mentions that the pitching method was a secret. So cool to have him explain this.
It’s crazy that Buster even considered the difference in how Bluetooth speakers let alone car stereos would play their music differently. Fucking bravo man.
Shed and Mind's Mirrors are some of their most experimental and dynamic songs and you NEVER see them mentioned by a lot of people. Honestly Future Breed Machine (different album) is starting to become underrated you don't hear that one mentioned as much anymore when people are introducing Meshuggah.
4:32 “patience with EQ stuff….” We know these days that EQ is the real secret to plugins. We need some demos on how to EQ properly. I think that’s the most lacking component for most players
If you take a look at the Stems on another video, you can see that there is bass indeed, it's just that in this part of the song they are just showing the "distorted" instruments (Buster does distort every instrument but you know, I'm talking about the usual distorted instruments xD)
Mix and Context I think the Axe FX and Kemper sound better than the Helix in terms of realism and dynamics, but Buster is insanely good at production. We should just let Buster do his thing, and we all take notes.

i think hes not doing like this
Shoutout Miami, transition game on point.
Yo shoutout to Miami woah. Buster taking notes from the youngins
Love he gave Miami a shoutout, such a good dude. :)
I think Buster is young.
What's going on in miami he came down to the strip clubs? Or what lol
@@funknotikMiami is a producer with Joey Sturgis and makes videos for that channel. Great dude.

Maybe a Daniel Braunstein/Invent Animate video next? Please?
Caught a mixing video from Buster while it was new and the first thing he talks about is Line 6 Big Bottom. I’m a happy man.
Buster is a legend
Is it true that line 6 badonk is basically the big bottom amp? I have always loved the sound of that amp
I used PodFarm for years, and now use a Helix. Badonk is the Big Bottom rebuilt with better EQ range!
0:27 I agree! Catch 33 is super underrated

@@IAmALiteralDragontotally agree with you dude. And yes!! Future Breed Machine is starting to become underrated as well.

I learned that a huge part of that tone was the insane amount of layering. Try quad or even octo tracking for a similar tone. It really works
Definitely THE top album by Meshuggah in my opinion
How the hell is buster like everywhere at once rn??
Quantum superposition: thall variant
when you're that good at that many things i guess u tend to be pretty busy
Does anyone know if Buster mentioned what string brand he sticks with? Elixirs? Stringjoy?
This is REAL rock!
hell yeah brother
true dezign
We need a Guitars Only Version of Vilartra and HLB

No hate obviously, but holy crap thats a lot of plugins lol
Great to see Pod Farm again
Yeah I suddenly feel like I need to dig my Pod farm copy out again. I always forget that Joey Sturgis (and other producers) used it too.
Love Buster!
So did I see that right, that they actually don't really have that much bass going on in the whole song? :o

HLB is the best rock ’n’ roll band!
Hell yeah!!!

i thought pod wasnt able to be used in pro tools what version is he on>?
He uses Bluecat Audio vst loader :D
So…. How the fuck do you get anything close to sounding like this live
Look at his interview with Ola Englund, its a challenge lol
with a nasa PC runing all the plugins....or you just don't because no one expects the live audio to sound exactly like the mix/master.
You can run guitars through a DAW live.
Backing tracks
@@KeepTheGates this many plugins must have insane latency if recorded through live
This video is a treassure. Buster is a treassure
❤❤❤❤
The edited guitar tracks sound like a computer lagging out.
Love it!
pod freaking farm.

Why wouldn't he use a helix though, it sounds better
