The European speed limit displays are a bug in the software on the Hornet. It’ll be fixed in a patch end of year hopefully. Seems like most of the hornets that have the “tech pack” as that one does have the most bugs/issues with sensors. I have had a GT Plus with just the track pack since April and have 8,200 miles on it and couldn’t be happier! Thanks for the review!

At least make it look a little different. From the side, without considering the wheels, it could be a Tonale. Boo. I feel the same way. I hate how the interior is an Alfa, the nicely designed steering wheel and interior bits being in a Dodge doesn’t sit well with me (no way Dodge can design a nice interior.) Most likely in the future, it’s just going to ruin Alfa’s reputation for being the “parts bin” brand. Plus majority of reviewers think the Tonale is based off of this, not the other way around, so there’s that.

9th gear in this transmission is too tall for a relatively small engine in a CUV. ~1400 RPM at 70 MPH, it would be at the limit for the aerodynamics and weight of a compact sedan (a B9 Audi A4 with the 7-speed S-Tronic is geared almost the same), but is too much load for CUV. It would actually be less efficient and put more stress on the engine. If the Hornet were equipped with a larger displacement N/A engine like a Pentastar V6, then it would become reasonable to use that 9th gear.

This car is a dud. Purchased April 2024, wouldn't start 2 weeks later. Sent to shop, claimed it was imagination. 3 weeks later did the same thing, was able to hobble it back home and reset. 3 more weeks later, stuck in my garage with a dead batter, and would start with a charge or new batter. Only things that work great on this car are the warning lights and random car alarm, otherwise, not sure how we'll it drives since I can't get it started. Completely unreliable vehicle to go anywhere with. Not even an oil change yet, and 2 car payments in. This is what the video should tell you.
