Do you have one of the division 2? I played that first but did not get very far whatsoever and did not understand much considering I'm just now playing the first one so after I beat this I'd like to move on and I just don't understand the second one that much I like the first one better

Talents worth getting first: Adrenaline- short immunity to status when popping a medkit Precision- Pulses enemy on headshot. Opens your skill slot for something else. On the move- 15% dmg redux on kill when moving

Some great information here. I would say the pacing of the video need some more pauses or visual topics so it's easier to digest. It's rather hard to take everything in when it's just a long continuous ramble. Breaking it up into sections or just have a pause in between would have been nice. Other than that, great.

I don't get to enjoy the snow where I live now, so it's nice to be able to mess around in a mostly snowy game leading up to the holidays! While I'm a little sad I've wasted some collectibles, leveling should go a lot more smoothly. Thanks for the useful guide!

Damn I've already collected a lot of the collectables already (I'm around 200, tier 3) but I will save the rest for when I am 256. Also can you play the survival/underground stuff solo and be fine?
CM Dell I do promise to come out with guides on Survival, maybe not underground as much as it doesn’t interest me as much as survival. You definitely can, but I’d recommend the smaller stuff for now since you’re not getting rewarded as much as you would a 256 bracket. I believe exotics can drop with a lower gear score too, which will be worthless when you’re a higher level. Collect the collectibles as soon as you hit 256, remember to keep checking your map to progress :) let me know if you have more questions!
Just started this game which I got for free, I hope the game is not dead because CO-OP seems fun. Your guide have given helpful tips. Liked and subscribed. But I am worried about one thing, I do not own any DLC will this have major/minor effect on my progression?
I have not played for awhile so I can’t speak much on behalf of the co op. I wouldn’t expect it to be super populated anymore. As far as the DLC, it won’t have any effect on your progression but it makes your end game experience far more enjoyable
You say dont worry about stats lvling 1-30. Ill counter that by saying instead, focus on gear that is fire arms and stamina, ignoring electronics except getting enough electronics to unlock weapon talent predatory.
I was having fun with the division but then it started to have texture explosions and texture ripping on certain objects and then it hard crashes when i try to go to the hq area where u upgrade the 3 tech wings now the division is unplayable for me
Thanks for the guide, was so useful for me starting up. I'm now level 30 and well on my way to gear level 256. A question I have is regarding the caches obtained from retrieving collectibles, I picked some up at level 30 but was not at gear level 256. I haven't opened the caches yet but am wondering whether the rewards for opening them scale with the current gear level when opening? Or is that determined when the cache is received?
Good question! They unfortunately won’t if I’m picturing your question right. The cache should have a gear score listed on it, so it will open items listed at that gear score. The only exception here is if you open Shield caches, these will always have higher tier loot.

I find Division 1 to be extremely hard to get going into. Dying because of crappy starting gear (if you have any gear at all) is miserable. And, the limited amount of ammo and bandages is ridiculous and contributes to dying more often that you should. I've been playing Division 2 more because it has been easier to get going without constantly dying and therefore making no progress. (I bought Division 1 thinking it would make sense to start from the beginning of the Division series, but turns out I'd rather play Division 2, so Division 1 thus far has been for me, a waste of money.)
I’m sorry you had this experience. I will say the first game does throw you in without too much assistance on what to do. I can’t share the same opinion about the ammo or healing, I find the first game far more superior in that regard. I do want to make some Division 2 content, but there’s plenty of content creators out there for that game already.
That loot is static, I believe. Especially the bundles you get in the store, like the firefighter bundle and survivor bundle. Those will remain a lower level. As far as the caches, I’m actually not 100% sure. But I think they’ll remain whatever level you currently sit at and they probably won’t level up with you.
I remember playing this game on the Xbox 360, best part I did recall was falling through the floor! Like, how was that even possible? Did I somehow try to cheat the game to get max level like in this guide?
Those tables are for re-rolling talents and optimizing your overall stats on your gear! If there’s a gun in your stash you really like, but it has a talent you don’t want, you can re-roll that one talent to something else. You can use Division Tech to raise the stats on your gear and guns as well.

I'm a year late well technically several years later LOL but just picked up the game for about five or six dollars and then got the season pass for the same amount and then ended up getting Battlefield Hardline LOL for another $5 so it was actually pretty cool and I played the second one but didn't get that far through it and it was kind of complicated so because I didn't know where the story was coming from in thank you for the tips I'm about to play for the first time on the first Division I love the division 2 and Rainbow Six Siege and breakpoint the division 2 was cool I just didn't want to play through it very much until I played the first one I was not spending over 80 bucks just for the season pass and everything so I'm glad I got it as cheap as I did literally 13 to $14 for the season pass and the game I did not buy the deluxe or anything like that but I should get the all the content correct?
I highly recommend at least getting survival. Survival will breathe new life into your experience but a lot of people like the other expansions. They’re not that expensive if I remember right, so I’d recommend it regardless. Welcome to the game! If the second one was complicated this one will seem way easier. I prefer everything in the first game over the second.
Also input lag is a thing, but it's not you it's the game settings. Go to controls and go to analog dead zone size and set it to 10 percent. You're welcome

Fray its supposed to be a beginners guide, you move so fast we don't even know what your talking about and have to rewind and rewind and rewind to get an idea of what you just said. Like gear score. i didn't even know what this much less than moving to we should wait till its 256.
Hi friend, this video is MANY years old. I have a new Beginner's Guide and I made it into a series with multiple episodes. I understand I moved way too quickly on this, which is why I revamped the series recently. Hopefully the newer ones are more helpful!
This is why I don't like games like this. I feel like I gotta take a course just to know how to play, it's too much. I just wanna hop in with a friend and have fun, not follow an algorithm guide to know what to do and when to do it.
Then don’t follow the guide… play how you want, you don’t have to listen to me or anyone else’s advice to enjoy the game. Edit: I definitely didn’t play the game this way when I first started out. The game has immersive lore and it’s extremely unique. Take it in and enjoy it, this is mostly for people who want to learn how things work in depth a bit faster, or for people who are doing more characters.
@Livid Fray Lol I suppose that's true, I've just often hopped into games like this and gotten overwhelmed by all the systems and menus and have no idea what I'm doing. It doesn't couple well with my need to play as best as possible lol. Keep in mind too that I only play games once a week on average with my friend, so we can't really do a game that has a steep learning curve. But as long as it's possible to jump in and have fun even if you're playing terribly, I'm game!
Furthest from the truth. The majority of the fun in this game is getting there. It’s about learning and making builds that relate to your interest. This game is not going any further than it is now, no future updates will be made, there will be no new content. Enjoy leveling up and learning, because once you hit end game that’s all that’s left.
But I enjoy getting collectibles and cool weapons while exploring the city, but from your guide I should not collect or buy anything and just farm farm farm. :/ Im not saying that you said something wrong, Im sure you know far more about the game than I do (I only just hit level 30 and finished the campaign today) but that just does not seem fun to me. Sorry for bad english

I aimed to give you guys the fastest ways to level up, but you do not HAVE to do it this way. This is not the only way to level up, please play the game in your own way and your own style. My goal was to not discourage new players from playing simply because the game is too ahead of its time for you. I don’t want new players to feel like they can’t play because it’s too late for them. Please collect your collectibles and take in the lore. It’s the second best story based game on my list and I’ve made numerous new characters simply to cherish new playthroughs.
I thought it would take a lot longer but after ~8 hours of gameplay I am already on gearscore 231, so it is not that bad, I can get to world tier 5 in the next playing session or two, and than come back to collecting everything else:)

I'm still a little confused about the recalibration and optimization table what is it and how do you use it? What's it for exactly?

No. The shield caches are one time rewards for completing specific tasks. They should be in your commendation menu under “shields”.

Hi friend, this video is MANY years old. I have a new Beginner's Guide and I made it into a series with multiple episodes. I understand I moved way too quickly on this, which is why I revamped the series recently. Hopefully the newer ones are more helpful!
This is why I don't like games like this. I feel like I gotta take a course just to know how to play, it's too much.
I just wanna hop in with a friend and have fun, not follow an algorithm guide to know what to do and when to do it.
Then don’t follow the guide… play how you want, you don’t have to listen to me or anyone else’s advice to enjoy the game.
Edit: I definitely didn’t play the game this way when I first started out. The game has immersive lore and it’s extremely unique. Take it in and enjoy it, this is mostly for people who want to learn how things work in depth a bit faster, or for people who are doing more characters.
@Livid Fray Lol I suppose that's true, I've just often hopped into games like this and gotten overwhelmed by all the systems and menus and have no idea what I'm doing. It doesn't couple well with my need to play as best as possible lol.
Keep in mind too that I only play games once a week on average with my friend, so we can't really do a game that has a steep learning curve. But as long as it's possible to jump in and have fun even if you're playing terribly, I'm game!

Furthest from the truth. The majority of the fun in this game is getting there. It’s about learning and making builds that relate to your interest. This game is not going any further than it is now, no future updates will be made, there will be no new content. Enjoy leveling up and learning, because once you hit end game that’s all that’s left.
But I enjoy getting collectibles and cool weapons while exploring the city, but from your guide I should not collect or buy anything and just farm farm farm. :/
Im not saying that you said something wrong, Im sure you know far more about the game than I do (I only just hit level 30 and finished the campaign today) but that just does not seem fun to me.

@@SzatanistaDzezowy no worries, I understand your concern. The guide is made for players who do want to level up in the most efficient way possible. I aimed to give you guys the fastest ways to level up, but you do not HAVE to do it this way. This is not the only way to level up, please play the game in your own way and your own style.
My goal was to not discourage new players from playing simply because the game is too ahead of its time for you. I don’t want new players to feel like they can’t play because it’s too late for them.
Please collect your collectibles and take in the lore. It’s the second best story based game on my list and I’ve made numerous new characters simply to cherish new playthroughs.
I thought it would take a lot longer but after ~8 hours of gameplay I am already on gearscore 231, so it is not that bad, I can get to world tier 5 in the next playing session or two, and than come back to collecting everything else:)

@@lividfray dunno but it definitely skips anything from the start of the game and focuses on higher level content. Just because you think it's for beginners, doesn't make it so. As a beginner myself I was confused because you were talking about stuff that had nothing to do with beginner content. You baited me and now you're being condescending.

As a beginner, peoples common question is what they’re supposed to be doing. You’re confused about the post office? That’s the first thing you’re supposed to do.
