It’s definitely still worth playing. This game is a gem. I miss the snowy conflicts of NY. It made the games atmosphere more sinister and gave you a sense of fear.
Having lived in nyc at the time, I really loved this game at release, even with its faults. Playing in places I regularly worked at like the steam plant, nypd building, and many others made this a very immersive experience for me
I think the Division Universe as a whole is worth exploring. The story is very interesting. Playing as an agent of this clandestine agency sifting through the ruins of society and overcoming grossly unfair odds to save people and maintain a semblance of order is awesome. Particularly as the Division is a civilian agency as opposed to something like Rainbow 6 or the Ghosts resonates more with me because I was never military but I am a first responder. It slides more into my mindset and it stands out against all the Modern Warfare/Siege/Ghost Recon games. All are good in their own right, but the Division hits different. I am really looking forward to Heartland and Resurgence as well as more books and other media. The DivU really deserves to expand and gain more depth.
For anyone still playing on XB1 there is a bunch of us that still play LAST STAND every night 8:30pmish Eastern Time. Sometimes matches start earlier or later.
Because of the seasonal break in TD2 I just started a new playthrough through TD1 a few days ago 😅 I have over 700+ hours in this game and I just came back to relive the story again and the first thing I saw, which I totally forgot was, how much recoil the weapons in TD1 have. Compared to TD2 where the guns have almost no recoil, its a complete new way to play. Of course I will not do the endgame grind again, because I have a 700+ hours endgame char, but I wanna relive the story again and fill the time until TU17 comes out 😄
Soo worth playing 2023. Still looks great and the leveling is awesome, the DLC's rewarding (Survival is fantastic). Cant recommend it enough. RougeGold is spot on in this video :)
It’s such an Underrated game even to this day, I still don’t understand why so many people refuse to take interest in this game. The story line is great, you have a high variety of choice for weapons, the combat is also great, playing with friends or even random strangers makes the gameplay way better… almost everything is there yet people sleep on this game
I have such good memories for this game. Me and my friends played this game religiously we never went a day without playing it for a very very long time and even though they've moved on from it now I still occasionally visit it from time to time just for nostalgia's sake. I love just going into the Dark Zone to help players out. Me and my friends use to go in and kill griefers trolling newer players and such and we'd basically act as bodyguards/tour guides for them showing them all the best places for loot and farming while protecting them from rogue players. Sadly my friends don't play Division 2 bc they don't like it so I roll solo in that game mostly. I don't think any game will capture that magical feeling Division 1 had. Its not my favorite game of all time but its definitely top 5
I loved playing the first Division when it first came out, I remember coming back to it after a pretty long break and got overwhelmed by the amount of new endgame content there was. I think I might pick it up again though and start a new character.
What's nice is that once you hit the endgame, almost everything is accessible. It can seem overwhelming but it's also nice to be able to just go and do whatever interests you most. Enjoy your new playthrough!
Its remarkable how it still holds up you could probably think this game dropped yesterday given it's breath taking atmosphere & environment, it has to be one of Ubi's greatest looking games Though the story is very bare bones given its about a pandemic makes it relevant to almost scary levels, its real story is in the haunting & thrilling nuances when you listen & virtually experience the lives of deceased civilians reaction before & after the city tears it's self apart, even down to their final moments, its sad, terrifying & even enraging the realism in the situations are uncanny I find myself looking in every nook and cranny for more snippets, and along the way you hear ppl mourning, comforting and struggling to survive, if the game was a single player with co-op it would have so much more to say and show you. It being primarily focused microtransactions multiplayer with only so much you can do is what set this game back, another case of Ubisoft conceiving something great before they get in their own way
I'm really glad my friend introduced me to The Division in 2023. We've had a great time roaming the city and cleaning up the streets. The amount of customisation for gear and skills is daunting but at some point it just clicks and the game progression just takes off. Fantastic game and I have yet to set foot in the Dark zone
So I've just started this one in 2024 after playing a bit of the Division 2 when it first came out. I am a huge third person shooter/looter shooter fan, I loved Last of Us One and Two, and played a crap ton of Destiny 2 as well. I only picked up Division 1 to do the main story, so I could move on to Division 2 and do the gameplay and modes there, but I can tell you, after playing this game, and parts of the Division 2, I'm absolutely in love with the franchise. I really like this one so far. Can't wait to finish up the main story in 1 so I can move on to 2. :)
just bought D2 with all the content and started playing D1 again from the start. i forgot how much i loved the game and cannot wait to play it all the way through
After reading all the books(Broken Dawn, Recruited, Compromised), graphic novels(Extremis Malis, Remission), and listening to the Hearts on Fire Audiobook i will simply say... Yes. Its a lore gold mine.
Can’t argue here. Like many, TD1 is one of my favorite games of all-time. TD2’s atmosphere missed the mark completely. Its great Massive wanted to have a more diverse environment but I truly wish they kept the game in NYC and expanded on the map like they said way in the beginning. Sure, some features of TD2 can be added but I’ll keep saying this everywhere…… Reboot The Division. With Snowdrop 2.0, expanded full map of NYC, expanded DZ, expanded Underground, expanded Survival, some activities (like control points, territory control etc), real seasons , etc….. I would pay double a normal game for this.
The game where it all started... I fell in love with this game and never looked back.. Great Storyline, lively atmosphere, awesome gameplay filled with many different builds, and many pvp/ other online modes to play.. survival, underground, etc.. The Division 1 is truly a masterpiece.
Definitely worth playing! I'm actually playing a second character for the first time. Currently at level 6. Division 1 has way more realistic shooting than Division 2. The weapon attributes in Division 1 actually matter. Even the rifles feel very useful. In Division 2, you don't really feel the difference in the weapons. They all feel the same. It's way easier to play because there is no recoil at all. The Division 1 weapons all have a unique feel.
One of my biggest gripes with the first one is that there a clear OP guns and there’s just no point in using other weapons. At the same time, I adore the game
@@KA6ED I remember I had the socom M1A with this one talent that made your reticle close faster, it was glitched to the point that it never opened, I then had two of the most op talents for rifles (I forgot them I feel awful) and I was unstoppable in PVE and PVP. I felt awful using a glitched thing, but it was fun before they patched it😂 there was literally no reason to use any other rifle for months
I love this game. I always randomly come back to it. Either this game or borderlands 2. I convinced my friend to download it for the first time and he’s geeking out and we are only level 5. It’s fun sitting back and watching someone experience it
I play the division 2 almost daily now, still learning about it and still having fun never a dull moment, also just recently got back the division one again as a whole this game is an absolute masterpiece!
I have vlose to 5k hours in counter strike, 10k+ hours in dota 1/2, and less than 1k hours in div 1, and then there are all the other single player games but div 1 remains the best ever gaming experience I've ever had! The game has everything except the player base
i just got The Division 2 yesterday and started playing it for the first time ever...ive never played any of them and it's fkng amazing! I'm gonna get tD1 soon, just for the story and atmosphere and all that
I played this at launch and just loved the DZ. For some reason, I stopped playing, but due to this video, I have re purchased the Gold edition for 13 dollars, which I think is crazy for all that content. Thanks for the video.
Little update. officially have 24 hours in game. Finally seeing a few purples (taking it slow, safe house to safe house), starting to understand how the game works actually using the crafting system now. I love dying in a location over and over again and eventually finding the best strategy for certain situations. Easily top 5 games for me, not sure where, but top 5 nonetheless.
I just finished replaying it this week and started the division 2 today I've had a blast and tbh it hits different after the whole pandemic bs we went through in recent years
I just started playing again the past week after not playing for a couple years. Love the atmosphere and game play. Also I created a new character and running around collecting the phones and what not the lore is pretty crazy to listen to now after COVID. So much of what the phone calls talk about came true.
I'll never forget absolutely no lifing The Division when it launched. Being in a squad and crushing entire DZ servers. It has to be in my top 5, maybe top 3 games I wish I could go back and play through the glory days again. Just bought it on Steam yesterday and the nostalgia is hitting like a train.
Still one of the best. I remember running around the dark zone solo in Division 1. Today I am still enjoying Division 2... I hope tbey keep supporting the game, as it is one of a kind!
i wish we got that original E3 version of the game but this was probably the last game that i think about how crazy wild the mulitplayer was how i had no clue what i was doing but still had 1000 hours in it and had a blast with friends even waited day 1 launch
Thanks for making this video!! As much as I like The Division 2, I really miss this one!! I’ve been wondering if it’s worth coming back! Definitely going to check out some of the community events!!
I still play this game to this day. It has so much nostalgia and I really hope they keep the servers up. I’d be devastated if they’re shut down, amazing game!
I started it playing from the beginning, bought it again as a gift for my son and he loves it, we group up and do missions together, father and son haha! so much fun. (I might get the Div2 for him too since it is already on sale on Steam)
Remember when the beta came out, me and my bestfriend fell in love with this game, Titanfall, and battleborn. I had a great time playing this game and can hope that I have the same enjoyment for it years later as i didn’t have money as a kid to buy it and didn’t think I’ll ever be able to play it at its peak play base again. This video made me lean on getting it now
I was hyped for it when they released the trailer for it to come out. Throughout that time and playing it with its very notorious bugs and glitches, I’ve always loved the game. It’s atmosphere and action for what it was always brought me back. I’ve delved so much time into it I can’t back away. It’s such a good game and continues to do so. When Div 2 came out it was definitely different from the first. It was fun but I quickly lost interest and went back to 1. Not saying it’s a bad game it just doesn’t have the zeal that 1 has.
i've spent many hours playing The Division on all formats with PC being my main system to play on and yes The Division still brings me back doing all the boss runs along with some missions and DZ runs for Div Tech .Still one of the best games i've played .
I started playing the division in early 2018, still playing now. Once you've got the kit to suit your playing style it's overall experience is something that most recent games are lacking.
Actually I just bought the game a couple weeks ago and I'm in the middle of completing the campaign. XD I have yet to get a grasp on the gear system but I'm mostly playing it for the lore and the story anyway. I think div2 has more options for customization and gear combinations.
I put alot of hours into this game on the Xbox when it first came out. I purchased it for PC a month ago for $6 while it was on sale and have not stopped playing it since. There are always people online everytime I log on.
I still play The Division 1 and help new players (PvP,PvE, Underground or survival) the game is amazing. I just recently got The Division 2, I’m just having a hard time learning how skills work and what kind of builds to make.
I used to have a run I would take newbies on in the DZ for hours. Share all my good loot with them and level them up. Then once they were good I would solute them then rouge them and go for a good solo manhunt. They always laughed. It was so much fun.
Recently got back into Div1 after 5+ years, and it's quite a shock to the system. Movement and weapon handling feel different. Recoil is much nastier. And everything is so damn spongey compared to Div2. Especially when starting from scratch. Long since moved away from Xbox and downloaded the base game on PS5 from PSN+. I didn't come with any DLC and I absolutely can't bring myself to buy DLC (again) for an older game. Still, it was fun jumping back again. Even without access to Survival or the raids.
I’m really considering going back because I used to play division 1 back when it was still poppin then like all people I switched to division 2 when it came out but as a pvp player division 2 just did not hit like division 1 did and I’ve never been able to scratch that itch
I used to play TD for years on my old xbox one and today I decided to buy it on my pc after 5 years I haven't play it. I would love to play with someone or find a community with active players.
For all it's flaws, it had one of the most engaging atmospheres I've ever experienced. Make one in a new city with updated graphics and I'd be happy to revisit this franchise again.
Was on the fence due to the MMO "type" game, personally enjoys solo, story driven games and you sir, explained simply right to the point, that it is "woth it" for that experience. Buying it online right now..earned a like and sub!
I've recently bought The Division 1 & 2. I'm new to the franchise and so far I absolutely LOVE this game but I started playing The Division 2 and I'm currently on level 19. Should I have started playing part 1 first before playing part 2 first?
Welcome to The Division! Glad you've been enjoying! I think the answer to your question depends on your intentions. Are you playing these games just for the campaign experience and story? Are you planning on sticking with them long-term and diving into the Looter Shooter/RPG nature of them? Division 1 no longer receives content updates, whereas Division 2 does, so if you're going to stick with Division 2 for the long-term, then it might make more sense to knock out Division 1's story, get a feel for things, and then fully dive into 2's endgame
I love The Division 1... I have end game characters in both Division 1 and 2... but something about Division 1 in snowy NYC at Christmas time... such a great mood/vibe and immersive in an incredible way. The dark zone in Division 1 also just feels so different than Divison 2's dark zones. The underground and survival are very fun game modes (Wish they were in Division 2) If you are reading this and have not played the Division and are interested, you should 100% buy it... it is so insanely cheap for such a great game with a ton of content. I also believe is it free on PS plus (included as a PS Plus game) so definitely download it since it is free if you have PS Plus.
Stiil have to finish main story and stiil have to jump in the Dark Zone. Playing it some hours per month, dividing the time with TD2 cause I just bought the expansion. Absolutely yes, especially now in winter's mood. Is it just me or it's more difficult and more strategic and tactical because of the less health?
There's a bit more of an edge to the gameplay compared to Div 2 for sure. I wouldn't say there's less health, though. Once you hit the endgame you can become infinitely tankier than you possibly can in Div 2 haha
Been away from gaming a while. Played both 1 and 2 and got back into the Division 2 last year. But stopped again. Looking to get back at it just to switch off after work. After watching this im back in.
Am 46 years old and this is the 3rd time.e I have just finished the game and will be grinding DiV 2 again now I will play this game 🎮 till the day I die it is my favourite of all time franchise. Agent out.
I'm still logging in and doing the dailies, actually can find players on weekends to group with for the challenging missions, since Div 2 keeps crashing on PC it's on hold atm.
What a kind gesture and such a motivating , positive clutch mental vision. What too 3 suggestions do you typically find in lack? 1. Needing to purchase extras for upgrades? Pre perception before playing to increase enjoyment? And best too?
@VEGA SHAINNING there is plenty to do in the base game. not sure if they still charge extra for the season pass. with that you get the underground which can be exciting if you enjoy a "thriller" type of action game in a much smaller environment. I remember being chased by 5 hunters underground while all other teammates were unconscious. 😆 my character defeated the hunters and revived the teammates one by one and finally finished the 3-phase mission. team coordination plays a big role in this game, especially in legendary or heroic encounters. when newer players are in the team, we advise them to equip with skill builds (preferably reclaimer) and FIND COVER. eventually they will pick up a tip or 2 through each mission.
@Carl Springer ps4/ps5. my groups meet regularly 3 to 4 times a week - players from the east coast, west coast, Mexico, and even European countries. every day, there are plenty of new and experienced players on the U.S. servers from 4 to 10 p.m. pacific time. late at night, I like to play survival solo, because it requires full concentration in each run which takes about 2 hours (assuming a successful outcome). my psn is PuffyLee. if you are on the ps platform, we can join forces. 😀
Im pretty sure that the devs dont have the team to pull it off and make a game like this again, sadly... At least thats what im seeing from how they are handling the division 2
friends and i have been thinking about getting this, after finishing div2. is the gold version worth it if we just want to go through the campaign and see the backstory, and have no intentions of staying for the endgame?
If you just want campaign stuff, then don't worry about the Gold edition. Division 1's post launch DLC didn't add much in the way of story, mainly focused on replayable endgame modes
I actually bought today on Xbox series x the full game because of this vídeo and the great discount, paid like 12 bucks for the complete Game with the DLC and all the skins, thank you RogueGold!!
I just got this game from a flee market, lol. I was going for the modern warfare game but the picture of the division game caught my eye...needless to say I'm glad I got it.
Reinstalled it today and started again from the beginning …..absolutely worth playing….still play on my other character especially for the legendary missions
PS5 is capped to 30FPS, unfortunately. But if it seemed like it was even lower than that, make sure your TV picture mode is on Game. I have an LG as well, and the only one I experienced frame issues in was Sports
I need to replay this game I remember playing it on beta and I fell in love with it instantly and it’s been a few years since I played it but you gave me a reason to go and try it again and enjoy the game like I once did 🙂
I just started this game for the 1st time last night. I must say wow. Only a level 8 and already it’s an experience worth noting. Funny to think of the lore and how the pandemic actually happened after the game. I wonder how that hit all beta players.
This game, along with Bloodborne and Persona 5, defined my gaming experience, I owe these three my life in a very literal life The sheer atmosphere of the division was such a brilliant setting that I keep coming back every time. Sometimes just to walk through ruined new York
This video made me so happy. Along with dying light 1, this game was the best experience ive ever had. They have made the grinding so much fun and worth it. Much love DIvision!
It's TOTALLY worth playing now if not the best time to play it now. I just played it this month and all the bugs are pretty much fixed and it's a solid solo game. Lots of fun. Enough story to make you feel like you wanna know what's next. PVP and darkzone I skipped.
Is The Division worth playing in 2023? Short answer: HELL YES!. Picked up the base game + the season pass for $10 on PC lol. The dark zone is still active, especially on the weekends. That being said, unfortunately, I did bump into a few cheaters/hackers in the Dark Zone. Other than that, 10/10.
It's nice to know that I am not alone regarding my fondness for Division. I think they should have kept the big city aspect, but moved it to a new environment such as downtown Tokyo for Division 3 and not a small town as the leaks have shown.
The fact that division is a great game i went from pc to ps player now and still play division had to play the first so i can play the second as i did on pc ❤❤❤
As you mentioned I am part of people that went away from Div2 and started enjoying Div1 again. I did not touch Div2 since last April but I play Div1 several times a week. So yes this game has still some playerbase in 2023
It’s now august of 2023 and I started a new character with a brand new PC with some of the best components available and HOLY SHIT is this game still gorgeous. Everything on ultra and high with a rig that is over spec’d makes this just amazing. One of the best games ever made
Not sure if anyone will see this but I played the demo for division 1 but never got the game. Played and enjoyed 2 for a while. Over the holiday break this year I decided to get it. I'm loving this better than the second game. Love the snow and weather effects and feels like it has more of a story.
Literally just brought the game thanks to this video, I was considering starting one of the two division games and wasn't sure what one I should play as I heard many say that the first was and is better regarding atmosphere, lore etc.. although with the 2nd game I knew it would have a more prominent player base being the more recent addition, I decided on this one as I enjoy playing games in single player with the option for co-op/multiplayer later into the game (if my attention span keeps me on the game for that long haha) as evident with myself just purchasing Monster Hunter: World appose to rise for similar reasons fans love it more and while it may not have a larger player base it still has active multiplayer that I can get to once I decide I've had enough of playing solo (may not happen for a while who knows). A major thing that worries me with games is longevity so if the multiplayer content is required for a fun time and progression that really turns me off due to the fact that the servers could be shut down indefinitely (Friday the 13th) but by the sounds of it this game seems to have a load of content for a solo player like myself to enjoy.
Great video! Thanks for helping me get excited about the game again. I've only been playing for a year or so and got distracted, and recently came back. I will agree the game is full of surprises and enjoyment. I've really enjoyed the community of players in the game and have developed a few relationships. What fun! My only complaint, and it's not really a complaint, just an issue I have, is I'm very busy and can't play all of the time. When trying to build up a character, it's often very difficult to find the pieces of gear or mods necessary to complete a set. I hope to continue playing and get my characters just how I want them. Do you, by chance, know of any spreadsheets or ways guys keep track of all of their gear and what their needs are so that when it comes to looting, you can pick up the right gear? Thanks again for the videos!!!
Glad you're enjoying! Time is always the greatest enemy lol. I'm afraid I'm not aware of any goal-keeping spreadsheets, if that's what you're looking for. I know there are charts and tables that lay out every type of gear in the game, but not so much a personalized one
One of the things that rarely gets talked about is the amazing voice acting. All the evidence, phone recordings and echos could have been immersion breaking. But instead we got a deep dive look into the early days of the end of the world.
In 43years (and I've been gaming since it became a thing.) I still think the Division one was the best gaming experience I've ever had.
🔥
100% agreed
I agree
I agree one of of the best can’t beat mass effect for me though
I'm 45 and I've sunk 300 hours into The Division 2 and around 400 hours into The Divison 1. Amazing franchise.
It will be hard for any game to replicate the wonderful atmosphere of the The Division.. And even tho it's 7 years old now it is absolutely gorgeous!
Division and Fallout combined
Im glad i played D2
The 4 piece sentry with damage mitigation bug on chest piece and savage gloves with Aug Bar was so funnn
Agreed. I think the Division 2 has great atmosphere as well, but 1 beats it
never played it but i bet it was! Snow is amazing@@justaguy1212
It’s definitely still worth playing. This game is a gem. I miss the snowy conflicts of NY. It made the games atmosphere more sinister and gave you a sense of fear.
agreed. i like the vibes almost more than the game
Is there any new content in this game for 2023 ??
When the game first came out I was scared to go into the dark zone as I didn’t want to die 😂
we all know the divison will always be a banger but what about the division 2?
every year on Christmas week, ever since its come out, i play the Divisions story. love doing that
Great tradition
That's awesome! Having lived in NYC myself, I can see that! It really is a great rendition of NYC.

I am really looking forward to Heartland and Resurgence as well as more books and other media. The DivU really deserves to expand and gain more depth.
Love it, well said!
Doesn't generate enough revenue for Ubisoft. No micro txes only DLCs.
I hope The Division never dies, it is my favorite game and it is an amazing experience
It won't 😉
THIS!
The fucking crash will kill this shit game
Better not! Live service games sadly have an expiration day, but if it happens, Ubisoft will have atleast one-man full boycott by me :D
1 or 2 which is better
For anyone still playing on XB1 there is a bunch of us that still play LAST STAND every night 8:30pmish Eastern Time. Sometimes matches start earlier or later.
I have both divison 1 and 2 on both PC and Playstation 4 and I just cant stop playing . Best games ever .
Because of the seasonal break in TD2 I just started a new playthrough through TD1 a few days ago 😅 I have over 700+ hours in this game and I just came back to relive the story again and the first thing I saw, which I totally forgot was, how much recoil the weapons in TD1 have. Making builds and grinding strayed a lot of people away. It dragged me in more lol

Have tried Survival mode and met The Hunters?
Looks ok, I prefer Division 2 over one for improved visuals and details. The civilians just gets in your way while running.

With Snowdrop 2.0, expanded full map of NYC, expanded DZ, expanded Underground, expanded Survival, some activities (like control points, territory control etc), real seasons , etc….. I would pay double a normal game for this.
I uhmm and ahh at games over £30 but I would drop £200 plus on that!
By doing that, they surely would expand...expand the crashes, like they did in the second game....
The game where it all started... I fell in love with this game and never looked back.. Great Storyline, lively atmosphere, awesome gameplay filled with many different builds, and many pvp/ other online modes to play.. survival, underground, etc.. The Division 1 is truly a masterpiece.
I started yesterday with a new character after over 2 years, and im still in love with this game. gameplay feels so smoth just amazing. :)
Jump back in survival mode. So good now
very recently (less than a week ago) got Division 1 with full dlcs. I am loving the game. playing solo. just reached around lvl 21
Glad you're enjoying!
I played D1 recently and even the recoil on an smg was difficult to manage. But I prefer this, it takes more skill.
One of my biggest gripes with the first one is that there a clear OP guns and there’s just no point in using other weapons. At the same time, I adore the game
@@startledmilk6670 yea LVAO/M4 and The House 😂
The division is the best game of all time absolutely in love with this game!!!
I have vlose to 5k hours in counter strike, 10k+ hours in dota 1/2, and less than 1k hours in div 1, and then there are all the other single player games but div 1 remains the best ever gaming experience I've ever had! The game has everything except the player base
IMHO the Division 1 is totally worth it.
i just got The Division 2 yesterday and started playing it for the first time ever...ive never played any of them and it's fkng amazing! I'm gonna get tD1 soon, just for the story and atmosphere and all that
@freedomfighter4081 Take your time and enjoy them! Really wonderful experiences.
I played this at launch and just loved the DZ. For some reason, I stopped playing, but due to this video, I have re purchased the Gold edition for 13 dollars, which I think is crazy for all that content. Thanks for the video.
Nice!! Enjoy, at least for me the game still holds up graphically compared to modern titles. Thank you for watching! 👊
Glad you enjoyed! 🙌
I still play this game to this day. It has so much nostalgia and I really hope they keep the servers up. I’d be devastated if they’re shut down, amazing game!
Does this have any new content??
I started it playing from the beginning, bought it again as a gift for my son and he loves it, we group up and do missions together, father and son haha! so much fun. (I might get the Div2 for him too since it is already on sale on Steam)
That's so awesome!
I still love The Division 1's snowing day and blizzare, it's really beautiful.
i've spent many hours playing The Division on all formats with PC being my main system to play on and yes The Division still brings me back doing all the boss runs along with some missions and DZ runs for Div Tech .Still one of the best games i've played .
Very well put together man! Your a genius at your craft! Keep it up 🙏🏾
Appreciate it man 👊
I started playing the division in early 2018, still playing now.
Just watch a video about the Gear Sets...
Played Div1 all the way through last year , definitely worth it.
Just came back to this game after 5 years or so. I was surprised to see how many people I bump into in the safehouses.
It's all about experimentation, you have to try stuff out and focus in on what you like!
Welcome back! We have a Discord server that you might be able to find TD1 players in
For all it's flaws, it had one of the most engaging atmospheres I've ever experienced.
That's so awesome to hear, thank you so much and I hope you love it!
Try survival mode homie! It was the best
I remember having 50hrs playtime on the beta😅 this and ff7 opening tune are the only ones that still make me nostalgic
Got on discount from the Xbox store, every call to help I've put out, it's been answered, and by super friendly people!
It's a lot more movement based and timing based like when to use meds or your skills etc so yea.
Love it 🙌
Am 46 years old and this is the 3rd time.e I have just finished the game and will be grinding DiV 2 again now I will play this game 🎮 till the day I die it is my favourite of all time franchise. Agent out.
I'm still logging in and doing the dailies, actually can find players on weekends to group with for the challenging missions, since Div 2 keeps crashing on PC it's on hold atm.
I just started playing but post COVID it is an eerie experience.
downloading as i watch your vid.. can't wait to play it, as it will be my first time in..
Love to hear it! Really hope you enjoy!
still playing this game after almost 7 years. these days the goal is to help the new players, which can be challenging, but fun. 🤗
What platform do u play on. Is there still a fair amount playing coop
If anyone's wondering,currently there's a sale for TD1 on ubisoft, €4,5 with 20% coupon,so €3,60 😁
Definitely still worth playing. I quite like the game and enjoying seeing the small changes that happen from time to time.
friends and i have been thinking about getting this, after finishing div2. is the gold version worth it if we just want to go through the campaign and see the backstory, and have no intentions of staying for the endgame?
If you just want campaign stuff, then don't worry about the Gold edition. Division 1's post launch DLC didn't add much in the way of story, mainly focused on replayable endgame modes
I actually bought today on Xbox series x the full game because of this vídeo and the great discount, paid like 12 bucks for the complete Game with the DLC and all the skins, thank you RogueGold!!
That's awesome! Really hope you enjoy 🙌
I just picked this up today as it was so cheap. I really know next to nothing about it, so this video was helpful thanks.
I just got this game from a flee market, lol. I was going for the modern warfare game but the picture of the division game caught my eye...needless to say I'm glad I got it.
Love it! Hope you enjoy
Haven’t touched TD1 since TD2 launched (which I was dissapointed by.) thinking of jumping back in. What’s the current meta?
They haven't made any changes since 1.8.3 back in 2018, so anything that was used back then is the same now 👍
Reinstalled it today and started again from the beginning …..absolutely worth playing….still play on my other character especially for the legendary missions
What’s scary is that it’s already been almost 4years since I started playing division 2(had it day one)🤯!
Like, where df does the time go😭?!
Just bought the game at an amazing deal from xbox store. Gold edition. Can't wait to get back into the action after almost 4-5 years. Amazing game !!
I love how the xbox get used impulse triggers. Miss it on the pc ver
one of my fav guns in the game in 1 was the mg42, i always hoped they would bring it back with the second
i tried playing The Division on my new LG tv and it was laggy as hell. What am i doing wrong? PS5 here. Framerate was about 10 fps.
PS5 is capped to 30FPS, unfortunately. But if it seemed like it was even lower than that, make sure your TV picture mode is on Game. I have an LG as well, and the only one I experienced frame issues in was Sports
I need to replay this game I remember playing it on beta and I fell in love with it instantly and it’s been a few years since I played it but you gave me a reason to go and try it again and enjoy the game like I once did 🙂
Yay! Have fun 😄
I just started this game for the 1st time last night. I must say wow. Only a level 8 and already it’s an experience worth noting. Funny to think of the lore and how the pandemic actually happened after the game. I wonder how that hit all beta players.
This game, along with Bloodborne and Persona 5, defined my gaming experience, I owe these three my life in a very literal life
The sheer atmosphere of the division was such a brilliant setting that I keep coming back every time. Sometimes just to walk through ruined new York
This video made me so happy. Along with dying light 1, this game was the best experience ive ever had. They have made the grinding so much fun and worth it. Much love DIvision!
👊👊
Best experience EVER for me. Still play til this day. I try to play other games but always end up back on Div 1!
Do you need the 3 expansions of this game to enjoy it better or fully enjoy it? Or will be enough with the base game?
All that the expansions offer are standalone game modes 👍 they're all fun, but none are required or essential to fully enjoy the game
@@RogueGold i mean like warlords of new york, in that case that expansion allows you to get to level 40, its like that in the first game?
@Kevin-sn7wr No, the "expansions" in Division 1 are very different than WONY in Div 2. All the Division 1 expansions offer are standalone game modes.
@@RogueGold thanks dude i already buy the game a few hours ago it costs me 13 dollars
We need an unlock for the 60fps for the PS5 it's the only thing holding the game from making a comeback on ps5
Same here , doing a new char and having so much fun. This game got all that the second doenst have. Division1 with Division2 engine ...
I recently purchased division 1 it is very good game active environment and that feel of survival all good.
So yes this game has still some playerbase in 2023
Console must have a player base still, cause both games are dead on pc.
@@DukesUp1yea console is more widespread so old games usually have more players on console
Most agree that the atmosphere of the original is indeed unmatched! Glad you're enjoying!
Really happy to hear I was able to help in your decision, I hope you enjoy!
As someone who just got all the dlc for the game and has never played it much it is very much worth it
Great video!
Since it's free to play on playstation and I just started playing the division 1 and can say it's fun.
One of the things that rarely gets talked about is the amazing voice acting. All the evidence, phone recordings and echos could have been immersion breaking. But instead we got a deep dive look into the early days of the end of the world.
Absolutely
100% agree, Div 1 is still excellent 👍
