wdym? The fact that most people online know about all this stuff doesn't mean that there are few people that are stuck in the late 90's but are still interested in what their kids (or grand kids) are playing. And if you are talking about the parental control, it all depends on how it is used

Same I was told repeatedly from the age of 5 or maybe even earlier how to be safe online and when I grew up I was able to decide for myself if I wanted to interact online or not and I actually decided it was best for me not to for at least a few years until I knew I was ready and now I have so much fun interacting with people on minecraft and other games.

I think minecraft should add a tutorial in the game which comes at the start of creating a new world and you have the option to don't show it again for pro players to not be annoyed. This will help many new players to know the basics of the game and not just only move around.

If you play Minecraft for just 5 years you aren't a veteran buddy
As an eight year Minecraft veteran, I miss the days when mojang wasn’t so focused on making the game seem like a safe haven for 5 year olds on their iPads playing bedrock and more of an actual pc game with tons of freedom for all players. Not that I hate that there are kids who play Minecraft, nor do I hate the bedrock version, I just wish that they’d at least make the game seem more free like it used to be in terms of what you can do and make at least one version of the game feel less restricted. Like, why did they have to add chat/username/skin reporting to java? Most people who play on pcs aren’t five year olds…
I understand that it can be difficult to make such a popular game feel like it’s not just targeting a specific audience, but still, please just remove the java reporting at least… I think the entire java community would enjoy that
Thank you, I can now annoy my friend with that
As a parent to a Minecraft player and a player myself this made me more worried about parental controls 🙃
