Honestly if they made a new minecraft game with a bunch of new futures like Ai, updated dimensions, new bosses, and maybe a new dimension it would be amazing
Actually 🤓 Wolfs hunting just when being hungry isnt realistic, almost all predators including wolfs, do surplus killing to domesticated animals. (Surplus killing is a known carnivore behavior that consists of killing any animal they see and they don't even eat them, letting all carcasses alone, it happens because wild herbivores will always be stronger than their hunters, thats why wolfs for example have to create a pack only to take 1 pray down, its the real reason of why they "hunt when hungry" because hunts are actually hard and ends in failure most of the time. When they find a population of weak domesticated animals, they can kill them all and will do it xd
@@caywo_ No, I just said a fact. I thought the guy I responded to was looking for realistic AI, so I said a real thing. Why my comment annoyed you? :'v
Personally, I’d love a sky update. The world just feels empty without any birds or insects flying around. Not to mention, out of all of the mobs that can fly, the only bird doesn’t even do it, parrots just sit around and do nothing, they’re cute but I’d love to see them actually fly! Also the fact that the official late game transport mode is literally flying by elytra, but what’s the fun in that if you’re the only one up there? Also if they added more birds, they could drop colourful feathers that could be used to decorate elytras!
This is a really cool idea, I would actually like to see something like this tied in with the old Aether dimension concept. I feel like a sky update could go hand in hand with the Aether.
@@Leo-me5ytLeaving out articles (the/a) is a good indicator of someone being Eastern European, as many Slavic languages such as Russian don't use them
Imo the End update should give off a different vibe from the Nether update. The Nether is a hostile place mostly because of its dangers and it’s chaos. The End shouldn’t be filled with hostile mobs and messy biomes. Mojang should add new biomes to the End, but instead of making it thrive with life, they should be dead biomes, maybe a wasteland biome, maybe a biome with floating asteroids, maybe a desert with huge dunes made of End sand.
That's why I don't think Mojang will ever update the end, and if they do, it'll be in a distant future. It's probably what it's already meant to be, a dead wasteland with nothing, life filled biomes wouldn't make any sense in the end. It's called the END for a reason
@@Ccy_yt Honestly though the Nether already kinda gives that wasteland feel though, I find in mods the End feels best when it has a kind of chaotic, Amplified generation style, where the terrain is more dangerous than the mobs. It gives extra reason to obtain an Elytra, and the Totem of Undying could teleport you out of the void if you fall, giving more reason to stock up on those as well
We could have an abyssal theme fur oceans that go beyond bedrock, with tide pools, "whale falls", trenches and abyssal creatures like huge crabs and isopods, anglerfish, hagfish, giant siphonophores, polychaete worms, etc...
As a biology student on Ensenada, i totally agree, intertidal pools are filled with a lot of biodiversity, specially sea urchins, barbacles, oysters, and another invertebrates.
@@Bronze_Age_Sea_Personinstead of being beyond bedrock, just increasinf world depth, Mojang increased world height and depht too, but the oceans feels like a pool aside the new mountains, when in real life the lowest point of the ocean is deeper than the height of the Everest.
I’m not a fan of what they think it should look like. I think it would be cool to have biomes within end but that didn’t even look like the end anymore
The only problem I see with the End update displayed is that it doesn't FEEL like the End. The Nether still *felt* like the Nether after it's update. It does look sick as Hell tho UPDATE: Can we PLEASE get all these mods in a Curseforge pack?
id recommend nullscape instead of other "better end" mods, as nullscape keeps that feeling of an alien desert instead of adding alien jungles and forests
I agree the End Update should have more biomes, but I think it should still feel empty, alien, and devoid of life, and completely disagree that it should have life, lush foliage and vibrant and colorful colors. Of course there should be a little color here and there, but mostly dark colors, with maybe a little hint of vibrant colors in very specific cases.
i feel like the end should be a twisted version of places that we have seen on our adventures to get there, just something "wrong" about it. like when you play telephone with a friend and it gets to the fourth person and the message is pretty wrong but still the idea is kinda left.
Maybe they could take some inspiration from mushroom men as far as like color combinations go? Like they could make it glossy and glowey looking. I hate how boring and bland the end is, we're here in 2023 and the end is so boring to go to. Like it doesn't need to be overly decorated but just make it worth the visit. I also agree with the ender dragon being a warm up boss.
I feel like they should rework both the End and Nether much closer to what the Overworld is. They'd need to make a few tweaks here and there, for example replace water with lava in the Nether, or air in the End, palette swap each blocks to red/purpley colors (Nether) and blue/teal colors (End) and swap a few structures, and they'd have a much cooler vibes than what it is right now. The Nether feels weird, nothing seems to merge anywhere, or compliment... and the End is void of any real treats or fun things to do. It's not beautiful to look at, its boring, its not a challenge at all.
20:57 I think it should only apply to natural blocks, such as dirt, grass, or sand, because it's going to look weird if you're making a floor or a road flush with the ground.
1.15 was a big update behind the scenes. Also keep in mind we got only 1 update in 2017 (1.12), and 1 update in 2018 (1.13). In 2019 we had an update in Summer, and then another update in December. It was mostly optimization and bugfixes, not really content update.
Yeah. 1.15 was more of a bugfix update and they were also probably working on 1.16 too. I hate how people shit on 1.15 for being a "lackluster" update.
I think the "End Update" could be named The Combat Update 2.0. It would uver hall the end making it similar to the end dimention seen in Minecraft Dungeons as well as incorperating the Combat Snapshots, i also have some ideas for a few technical improvements such as a Right-click function to pickaxes alowing them to rotate or alter the state of some blocks (a survival friendly debug stick), more pillagers and mob variations (including the Illusioner and more from dungeons) etc
All the updates He just listed are already available in a modpack called Better Minecraft , which is a vanilla+ type modpack. So you can experience what these updates would feel like if Mojang decided to add them
I wouldn't be surprised if the video took ideas fron this modpack being that it sounds like it was written by an AI and not even checked over for mistakes
I think one of the main difficulties with the endupdate is that if they add something they have to make sure it´s still cohesive with the "hidden" minecraft lore
In my opinion, at these point, minecraft lore is an excuse for not working on new heavy updates. I think we need to get the idea of believing in a "non-existent" lore out of the way and work on new things, big things.
Isn't the hidden lore all pseudo-lore? As in everything just has little points of intruige for the player to get inspired off of, but isn't actually set in stone beyond the point that we see it. That's how I've always treated anything in the game that had a vagueness in the story it was telling. So for the end, I don't think there is much in the way of lore to be cohesive with, just a desolate bunch of floating islands, populated with alien, warped structures and lifeforms. As long as they take cues from that general theme and some of the elements already established, such as teleportation, the void and gravity weirdness, the devs don't really have much of a needle to thread.
This isn’t even a reasonable excuse, just allow it to add on to the lore as if it’s always been there like they’ve literally been doing the last 5 years?
The 1.15 didn't just add bees. That wasn't really the point. It is suppossed to also be called the "Bug update" because the code was entirely rewritten to fix a lot of bugs, and bees were added following the joke of "bugs"
Why does it sound like this guy put the script of the video through google translate 5 times. "In Badlands update, they want to add Vulture, finally it will be a bird."
13:30 "Winter should not be at the same time as Summer, so seasons should appear in Minecraft like in real life" bro winter and summer happen at the same time in real life lol, have you heard about hemispheres?
Did AI write this script? There is no way a human wrote this. The sheer amount of strange grammatical errors like “there will be vulture added” and “ the Mojang should…” just seem really unnatural like it was written by an AI
So many of these ideas are just "add this mod". There are plenty of great mods out there, but making vanilla updates is completely different from making mods. Just ask Kingbdogz, a modder turned developer. Features added to vanilla need to be unique, refined, fit with the game, and have longevity. Look at how the new trial chambers give a unique experience with the trial spawners, and give unique loot such as the mace, wind charge, armour trims, banner patterns, and more. It's not like Mojang "doesn't hear" the request for features like vertical slabs or sand layers. They've actually responded many times. Minecraft is a block game, and these limitations keep the game simple, give it charm and identity, and give rise to creativity for problem solving. There are plenty of updates that Minecraft actually does need and I'd hoped to see them mentioned: 1) The end is too barren and does need more content, but what would a vanilla style end update actually look like? The dimension should be unique and should not just copy aspects of the overworld or nether. 2) The whole enchanting system needs an overhaul. Enchanting relies on too much RNG. The mechanics of the anvil are not intuitive and the too expensive limit is totally arbitrary. 3) Java and Bedrock still use two different combat systems. The experimental combat tests were great and should really be made a priority to finish up and implemented into the game. 4) We desperately need an inventory update. The biggest problems are the amount we can carry in the inventory, and the accessibility to those items. The bundle helps to clean out the clutter, but its poor UI makes it hard to retrieve items from inside. Physically having to place shulker boxes is a nuisance and they should be accessible from within the inventory itself. Stack sizes for many items should increase. The amount of items we need quick access to is more than the hotbar can hold. Either make the hotbar bigger or add new ways to quickly swap out items, like new hotkeys or maybe a tool belt.
and thats why the game is dead. not everything needs to be unique or have purpose. we just want more than the same 2 animals in the forest, or more particles, physics, & sounds. not hard to do at all.
Nether 1.16 revamp clearly copies aspects of the overworld. Before 1.16 it was mostly empty though, but after 1.16 it became Overworld: Nether Edition, just the same as overworld but it's a hell dimension
I like the idea of more vertical progression. Stuff like netherite, the warden and ancient cities were very good additions, and to me it would seem logical that the end will become a more in depth part of further progression
towards the end of the video he goes into more about features that should be added and holy shit he nails it on the head. SO MANY of those features should have been a thing for so long and would be simple to implement. I hate that Mojang takes so long to add significant updates anymore and when they do, they limit how much they add each time. Either by just not adding what people want, or by putting it up to a vote, when they could just simply add them all (like mobs).
I really love the idea of the winter and desert update, could you imagine just adventuring out into the snow and then all of a sudden you see the northern Lights? I also love the idea of adding desert storms to minecraft and upgrading the temples and adding more structures to loot from.
I feel really old because I still think of the ocean update was recent and each time I see kelp, turtles or something I look at it and think "oh look new stuff"
That's funny, after things get added for me I just start disregarding them and then I find it again and I'm like "Oh my god! When was this weird thingy added?!?"
The Buzzy Bee update was small because it was mostly bug fixing update. There was an increasing amount of bugs in the game and 1.14 broke the camel's back. 1.15 was small because the game needed a small update with little features so the devs could focus on bug fixing.
I picked up on that too, the quality of the mic makes me question if it’s AI but the script has so many weird grammatical mistakes and errors that it def is suspicious
I felt something was off too was looking for a comment like this. Feel like the guy might just be awkward though if its not AI. Maybe English isnt his first language. Put through google translate it might sound a bit like this.
Honestly I can agree with a lot of things here but I agree with the end mostly. To me, it's literally called "The End" so it should reward the player with more than an elytra. It should have new passive mobs, structures, forests, caves, waters, and so much more.
@@matthewcarreras1904 even then it could just be destroyed or old villages lost to time with different types of endermen/ancient ender mobs. Maybe as an add on after beating the game you could do certain things to bring life back, but at the same time that sounds more like a mod thing than a vanilla thing
@@matthewcarreras1904 this is long term, but if they added a deep dark dimension they could have a biome in the end thats being infected and maybe thats why its is desolate and lifeless
enderite should not be a upgrade to netherite it should however be a alternative to netherite meaning you would have to choose of you want a end gear or nether gear but just making a upgrade to netherite would just add more unbalance
@@Paintballperson-k2limo that wouldnt feel like mc, just like some sort of mod. Feel like a new boss could work as the last one was around a decade ago but im not sure if that sorta thing would fit minecraft
I think I like this idea so long as the netherite gets a special attribute and the enderite gets it own special as well, other wise it’d just be for looks
Also, we need a new dimension in Minecraft. It's been almost a decade since the end was added. Mojang can really use the ancient city portal for a new sculk dimension.
Ambient sounds is all I need. They make the game so immersive and relaxing (or tense!) Everything else is just like a warm welcome addition, though. Nice video.
@malarky4173 why have it if it holds no purpose? Merely just to look at? Sure you can find it beautiful or incorporate it into something useful for yourself but when you are presented with something that can bring so much more meaning and creativity why shouldn't you? Take copper fore example they couldn't add tin so that we could make bronze? Copper armor? Take the the squid sure it's pretty but it's usefulness is so limited that ultimately it HAS NO FUXKING MEANING
@@Hitokiri1912 What would copper armor add to the game? Nothing. It would just be another armor in the line of progression - that ultimately is almost never used. Most players will still only every craft iron, diamond, and netherite armor
@@apancakewithabs632 if they're gonna add copper than make it something other than a decoration block like something that was historically used by people
@@Hitokiri1912 a huge part of the game is building and copper has the highest amount of building variations. It’s fine even just as a decoration block. But it’s not just that, not every use needs to be added in one update. I’m sure in coming updates more and more uses will be added
Agreed, however while I do want the end to be updated, the pink biome is a bit much for me, but when you enter I would love the end to look like what it did when you entered and add pretty blues biomes, flying creatures and all that.
The better end mod is too much imo. Some new biomes wpuld be super cool but i think they should be void of organic things like trees and animals. The end's supposed to be a wasteland, but there's biomes and mobs you can add without taking away that feel
I think they should at least add an ender grass to the chorus fruit biome, like the warped forest or the nether, then the weird ass hydrothermal vents and the dark forest, maybe some caves with different plants,a new mob which is the equivalent of the phantom in the overworld,a mob that hides in the bushes, maybe other that creates a knock back and can push you into the void, and at least 3 new structures
Also it already has different biomes devoid of anything organic, not saying it should be like the mod but they could add some alien-like flora, some parts could stay as it is
Exactly. I love if they upped the creep factor some. Imagine if once you kill the dragon, you realize how truly empty it all is. No life outside the Endermen, the Shulkers in the abandoned cities, and chorus fruit. Why were the cities abandoned, and by who? Just something to up the eeriness
end should need to have more things in it like wasted structures or sometjing that would make it less empty but still a desserted wasteland like a desert.
Honestly, The End is probably my favourite dimension aesthetic-wise, and I'm unsure about what I'd want for an End Update. I want the dragon fight to remain entirely the same, no changes at all, even to the pillars or anything, but for the Outer End Islands to have new content. But still, I don't want them unrecognisable. Maybe around 3 or 4 new biomes and nothing crazy, perhaps a forest with green wood to complete the wood rainbow, a new mob or two and a couple new structures. That's all, really.
I know some people are disappointed in the recent Minecraft updates but let’s just all remember. this game came out 15 years ago. and it is still getting updated regularly. That is insane, so I’m happy for that even if the updates are small.
I think a cool compromise to the end update would be if the biomes were all in caves. Like imagine a desolate/normal End but if you find the "secret" entrances, you're taken to a magical world of alien flora and fauna. It would make sense, too, by our human world, that most plant life and animals could only really thrive in protected areas of the desolate space-scape.
Problems with your vision of the End : - There cannot be water in the End - I'd rather have end cities updated, villages don't seem to fit in the End - The end responds to different rules, there is no vegetation, no animals from the overworld (except maybe slimes which can be found in different dimensions)
I agree, and I kinda feel like adding enderite is also a bit too far. I think netherite is already incredibly powerful, and that it would be more natural to add building blocks that can be mined in the end, along with some type of cave generation to make the end islands look less bland
I think a new forest-like biome could be added like in Minecraft dungeon, maybe they could also add those poisonous pools of end goop to make it feel more barren and dangerous
Maybe that's why Mojang is taking a long time to make an update like this, maybe they have been planning it for a long time... even more than we thought they r compiling the best of best of ideas to bring us a huge update and above all, without errors that affect the minecraft lore
There is a problem with seasons. The only way that they can make them is that they appear only in loaded chunks. In this way a chunk during winter for example, it will start snowing in it only when you load it ( For obvious reasons you cant make the season in all the world simultaneously)
Yeah it is better to have seasonal themed biomes. It would be easier to implement than seasons as mechanic. And this can mean maple forest, dark oak autumn forest, usual forest autumn version, birch autumn forest... 4 new biomes could be added!
"The End should be like this." I disagree, while this certainly is beautiful and incredible to behold, this should stay a mod. The End does not need to be "Overworld, but make it alien". (I do think the End desperately needs a new update!) After watching the rest of the video, I feel this has far too much expectation from Minecraft as a whole. Many of these suggestions ask for more mobs, dynamic entities and animations, and particles. Additions to the game have to be streamlined for computer accessibility. If it can't run on a toaster, it needs to be refined and optimized before considering adding it to the game. This is what mods are for. There's a lot of additional commentary added to the video that are more subjective changes than anything else (changing the texture of glass, how flowers look, etc.) that are easily adjusted with resource/texture packs.
Perhaps i suggest dynamic lighting to make it like gloomy and stuff keep the abandond look but make it fresh you are true about the expectations though then it will be the caves and cliffs update i don't wanna wake up one morning 5 years later ans see end update part v
One of the simplest solutions to the major Minecraft's updates rather than adding new random features without a theme, they can replace the mob votes with biome votes that get redone each year to make them more realistic with resources being similar to that biome and animals being added that fit. Obviously mob votes are a fail, yet the biome votes might have a better chance at reunifying the minecraft community.
or making it like the community is designing the mob by voting aspects into it, like is it passive, hostile, or neutral, is it a real animal or not, etc. I think most people hate the fact that most of the choices are passive (and when we have a hostile mob glow squid happened) or a mob with a very niche purpose (sniffers and armadillos) or the mob is base on real life animal so they don't want us to slay it. It would be nice if we have more control to what we're gonna get out of it and hopefully it connects to existing mechanics like redstone, exploring (traders selling new maps in experimental), and complex farming (making things renewable like turning stone into clay), we have a lot of mechanics but most of them are tedious (potions) or too basic (archeology)
The community will go insane when the end update releases because mojang actually said that after they were satisfied with all 3 dimensions they would add a new one. first, we saw the nether update, then there is 1.21 which seems to revisit old features. i think the end update is next then, after that is a completely new dimension!
I wouldn't be so hopeful for an End update right after 1.21, there's still a lot in the Overworld to update and change. Imo they should at least do an environment update adding more fluff to the biomes and updating old mob models and animations.
@@kamiwriterleonardo6345i mean i'm all for having a Wild Life update part 2 and leaving the end update for the future, there's still so much that could be added than just a New dimension
i feel like there are 2 things to consider with the end: first, minecart has its 15 year anniversary next year, so it would be a perfect time to do and end update then and therefore are waiting, and 2: the end is incredibly hard and to update while maintaining the barren nature of it, which in the mods you showcased that update the end is lost. furthermore, the end is a location only a tiny fraction of the community will ever see, making it much less of a priority
They see it the less because it has the less amount of gameplay to offer. Updating to make it useful would draw people to it. It is a tricky balance because I do like the barren feel of the end. But adding a rare biome that has new mobs, maybe a new tree type with a new type of grass, would be cool. It could be a very rare biome to find and be one huge island you find in the barrenness. Add that with expnaded gameplay and a REASON to go there repeatedly would be cool.
ppl would go there if there was actually draw to it. im one of those ppl who doesnt go but would absolutely go if there was an update. and also, the showcase in this video didnt show it much but there's still a very voidlike feel to the end mod, there are just some larger islands with more stuff on it, still in between smaller islands with less complexity that allow it to maintain the large and empty feel while actually offering features. on top of that, im not sure why ppl argue the end HAS to feel barren and featureless. with that logic, since the nether was also barren and featureless and everyone saw it that way, ppl shouldve felt discontented with the nether mod as well, but it was not the case. they made it work while keeping the vibes.
What minecraft REALLY needs is a feature of Far drawing distance using LOD. Seriously, just imagine actually seeing the landscapes without your computer burning. The poor guys behind Distant Horizons mod have spent not one year trying to implement this, why can't mojang. It's literally my biggest problem with Minecraft, i'd even be okay if we got a whole update dedicated to distant horizons only.
That and also an update to how worlds are saved. No idea how that could be done efficiently and retroactively, but it really shouldn't be the case that a game this exploration heavy remembers the entirety of every chunk you have taken one step into. That's the main reason why SMP servers usually have a much tighter world border than the default one.
you (or AI) say that the seasons should not affect the crops. That would not make any sense because the temperature and weather always have an affect on crops and stuff IRL, so it would only make sense if it did. Also at 14:50 this might be weird but it is because Mojang doesn't want to have multiple blocks with the same function, so they won't be adding that
I just watched the previous video about things that should be in miencraft, i didnt watch this one yet, but i want to let you all know that the mobs that lost in mob votes arent gone for ever, this idea to completly delete them was only in the first mob vote. So the mobs like penguin, golems, icologer could be possibly added sooner or later.
Highly doubt it. We haven’t gotten a single one yet, and if we don’t get the copper or tuff golem in this coming update, then I fully believe they’ll never be added, seeing how mojang said they’ll be added during fitting updates.
@@solstyss8977 we havent seen any yet because they might save those for a fill in update one so they can focus on a bigger update like the end or something
Probably never though. They've done a swamp update that failed the single biome vote we had, sure, but they didn't update the ACTUAL swamp biome that's been in the game for literal years. They just added YET ANOTHER biome, and they have added absolutely none of the previous mob vote mobs. That blazelike mob they put in the first mob vote? Coulda added that in 1.16. Nope. They didn't. It's never gonna happen.
What makes me sad about these End Updates that we see in mods out there is that everyone seems to ignore the potential for verticality. When the player acquires the elytra, all he wants is to return to the overworld and fly there. Flying in the End should be more exciting. Enchanting items in the End should be easier. Discovering lore in the End should be more interesting.
I am sure that these update ideas have enough contents to attract more players to play the game. Minecraft with such amazing features will become "The best game of all time".
When he talked about seasons I want the weather to affect the crops don’t make it so that it doesn’t grow but slow it down a lot if it’s left in the outsider so that you have to make green houses to grow quickly in the winter
I just wanna see more animals. Deer, Ostriches, Vultures, Penguins and Bears all sound great, but what about Ducks? Sharks? Crocodiles/alligators in swamp biomes? Snakes and lizards? Herds of Wildebeest? Beavers that damn up rivers? Lions and Giraffes in desert and acacia biomes and Tigers and Monkeys in jungles? Elephants and Mammoths in respective biomes, which can be tamed and rode, seating multiple players AND still carrying chests? Weather effects like sandstorms and blizzards also sounds really cool - sandstorms should quickly wreck your armor, while blizzards sap your food bar. This makes them an actual consideration for the player, not just an inconvenience. Then, let leather armor be immune to sandstorms, while for the blizzards we can craft woollen "armor" (same effectiveness and durability as leather) to keep us warm. We could also enchant other armor with these effects.
The reason why I disagree with the idea of making the End look more like the Overworld, because the End *is* meant to be a barren, literally void world that has minimal life and resources. What is there is only the few creatures capable of surviving in its barren conditions and the few structures that were left abandoned by those who had lived in the End before they had disappeared. Plus, the End is a type of dimension called a Sky Dimension, which is defined by the fact it lacks a bedrock floor like the Overworld and a bedrock roof like the Nether, so making it look more like the Overworld with massive structures taking up most of the space would be taking things a bit too far. I would love the idea of making more End structures and islands though, as the content that is there does make it feel empty and boring compared to the Nether and Overworld, but making it simply have more places to explore and more loot to find would definitely make it a lot more interesting and fun on its own. If they turned a ton of the islands from being flat surfaces floating out in the middle of nowhere along the same build height, into massive meteors that surround the Dragon Arena on all angles, including above and below it, it would not only make it look so much more cooler but it would also give them the ability to add more stuff if they really wanted to as well. I understand why you would feel that the End is so boring and barren, but the End has potential in how it has already set itself up. It isn’t set up as biome-bananza like the Overworld or a fiery-hellscape full of all sorts of craziness like the Nether: it’s a bunch of rocks floating in a literal void, with some interesting things that just so happen to inhabit them. So, why add more things to it if all you need to do is expand the scope of the things already there, while also keeping the same sense of nothingness in addition to exploration and adventure? You don’t need to get rid of everything that makes the End what it is, but giving it the ability to grow from what it is now is something that can be immensely valuable. You don’t need to add massive crystals or weird warped forests to the End, but you do need to add in the ability to be able to add that stuff while also keeping the uniqueness of the original place. It’s like making a house: in order to build it, you need a foundation, structures supports and a framework, then you can add all the important stuff like utilities and electricity, walls and paint/wallpaper, floors and roofs. Then you can add all the extra stuff like furniture and kitchens and the like. I understand that you want something out of the End, but realize that to make something like that for the dimension that most people are going to visit one or two times due to the issue of finding strongholds and Eyes of Ender, maybe more times if they want to do something like make a shulker or Enderman farm, Mojang probably doesn’t want to waste game space and development time on updating the End unless they can make it so there’s more reason for people going to the End besides the items and beating the Ender Dragon. Also, Sky dimensions take “fall damage” to the next level with the void, so unless you want to make an End dimension with a bedrock floor or give a way to counteract the void by teleporting you to the top of the dimension, it’s not going to be very bearable to your average player.
I like a lot of these suggestions I’ve been seeing. I might as well add - graphics update that enhances the games lighting - player/mob animations when you climb ladders, facial animations on villagers and movement animations for both the player and mobs - colored lights update. It kind of follows the graphics update but we need more colorful light sources
I just want to see a sailing update with better islands that you can explore and new pirate related structures and the use of blue prints to make bigger boats that can actually have blocks places on them
Hard pass on the Netherite +1 ore in the End. I'd love to have an End ore for items, but not as a simple progression. Minecraft has enough linear progression for tools and armor. I want a tree of possibilities, so I can figure out what's best for me. Like how I prefer crossbow to bow for the Piercing enchantment, so I can get my tipped arrows back. I want horizontal progression. Gold tools are a nice relic of this Idea, but their faster mining and better enchantability is void because of its miserable durability.
I LOVE ur appeal to the nature update.mojang should listen to such suggestions well except for the blocj connectivity.they should make it an option or smthin
1.15 only released with bees because they mainly focused on bugs and world generation. 1.15 was a very important update because it really helped the game run smoother and needing less performance. and btw you missed the 1.18 update 4:07
I think the opposite: it should feel dead, as if things used to live here but were killed off. If it was empty it would be boring, but if it used to be alive then you could see lots of cool structures and whatnot, with lots of ores, plants left to thrive without whatever lived there.
@@neo1754the end is boring though. because when you're looking for end cities,All that is in your way is barren and boring purple plants that will just slow you down
I'd love to see a tameable falcon added to the game. It should be able to follow while flying with an Elytra and be used to hunt rabbits and other small game.
Rusted iron would look SICK in some builds! Also I see where you are going with these updates but it a lot to ask for, processor wise. I know a lot of Minecraft mods can run pretty well but all of these things would toast a computer’s processor and graphics card if you add way too much. Maybe in about 5-10 years this may work out, but not with modern tech
We need an aquatic update 2, but it’s for new structures and adventures. Who made the ocean Monuments, or the tridents? It doesn’t make sense and would be cool to see fleshed out.
I’d love this. Same with the lore around the guardians, like what are they? Who made them? Because they’re clearly not fish, everything points to that. I’d love for them to get some more lore on them. I might actually explore a monument if they did
@@mangledfoxy2052matpat has a video on that im pretty sure (as well as vids for like. every minecraft lore related thing you could think of bc hes matpat)
minecraft pretty much aims exactly on that with its tidbits of story, it's not like most features in the game have fleshed out full on lore, mostly being theories & connections the players make
Also to remove the headache of blocks having large amounts of variations have them grouped in creative inventories as a folder that drops down would be so good
The nice thing about an end update is that it could open up more light sources perhaps. I’m really tired of just using torches or lanterns and random light blocks. I feel like there needs to be more ways to light an area
he kept leaving out the word "the" and everything was singular so instead of "the stronghold" or "woodland mansions" it was just "stronghold", "woodland mansion"
Here's an update idea. The Nature Update: Adds real life creatures such as Deers and Moose, along with less noticable mobs like Crickets that make ambience at night. This update would also update the AI of many animals. Sheeps, Cows, and Horses will all now move around in herds, and if one is attacked they all run. Wolves are complete pacifists unless if hungry. When they are hungry they will look for anything they typically get aggressive at, (except skeletons, they always attack them.) Also maybe Crabs and Penguins could be added?
i agree with an end update, but i really dont like the idea of turning the end to this alive alien planet, i think the end is best when its mysterious and dead looking, i want to see more veriaty but not if takes away from what in my opinion makes the end special and that is the fact it looks like a dead forgotten islands that maybe once had life in it. not that i dont think mods like better end are good objectively speaking they are, i jsut disagree with the direction and weirdly i think im alone on that fact. like i definitely want more biomes and mobs in the end, but not ones that look alien and alive, but maybe a dead forest or huge black pilers anything that would give the feel that something used to live in the end as i think thats what makes the vanilla end interesting, also add depth like the null mod, where islands can spawn higher or lower in the world it really makes the islands of the end seem 10 times better with almost no actual new stuff.
It’s so boring as it is though? If it added all these magical features, it would give players a reason to go to the end, other than defeating the ender dragon and going to the end city. You would be able to actually build out of beautiful new blocks and the biomes would be totally eye catching. I don’t understand why everyone thinks this is a bad idea, when none of you even like the end as it is anyway.
@@nobody-hh8rd dude I'm saying I want an end update. I just feel like the direction most people see the end as an alien planet is wrong. I want to keep the dead look of the end, the look of a lost civilisation so old they have lost everything that once was, and the now is barely a tiny fragment of what once was a great civilisation. I want an update that continues this concept and not an update that turns the end into an alien planet. The mod makes the end feel alive which is great from a visual prospective, as I said I do think the mod is good objectively, I just really don't agree with the design direction. I don't feel like the end should look alive. I hope this makes sense, I do want an update, I just want it to match the current design CONCEPT of the end with more biome more buildings more colours and more mobs.
I also don't think it would be 'easy' to implement otherwise everyone's device who doesn't have a high enough GPU will roast as it changes think of the lag😅
I believe there should be a animal update for example you can put armor on wolves and different designs on the horse armor and also different tips on arrows for example such as diamond and netherite idk what do you think
Okay so I agree with a lot of this. We need more. Here are 10 updates I think we *definitely* need. 1. Structure and Structures Update Basically this update would...redesign the weaker structures. So Desert, Jungle Pyramids and Dungeons for example, would be redesigned. New structures would also be added. I really would want a full update dedicated to this. 2. End Update This one is obvious. The end feels empty. It feels like it doesn't offer much. It's just boring. Whatever they would do to it to make it better, would be worth it. 3. Enemy Update We need more monsters to fight. Personally, I think new variations of zombies and skeletons would be a great addition. Basically new enemies are needed! 3. Ambience What the f%&k? Why is there NO ambient sounds? Seriously man? Minecraft feels sooo empty because of this and it makes me mad and disappointed. I seriously hope they add ambience to every biome and dimension. 4. Mob Update Basically just adding new mobs and overhauling old mobs. Most mobs don't need an overhaul. Some do. Bats are useless and should get some kind of use, even if for decoration. But yes, new mobs too please! 5. Ore Update New ores, new minerals each with special uses! Seriously man. We need more of this. 6. Crafting Update This update would add more things to ingredients, blocks and so on. So diamonds would get more uses. Basically more uses to items and other things. 7. Biome Update So more biomes and overhauls to old biomes. To make all biomes better and to add new ones. 8. Combat Update They wanted to do another combat update. To balance out things. You can read about that on the fandom. Anyways, we need more weapons, tools and armor but also a more balanced combat system. 9. Enchant Update I don't care what people say. The Enchanting Table sucks. It needs a better functionality. If you could reroll enchants it would be so much better. We need an update like this. 10. Boss Update New bosses are sooo needed. The Warden isn't really a boss at all but it's good. But we need actual bosses. Im talking ones who are supposed to be defeated. Anyways those are some updates I remembered that I really want in the game. What do yall think?
I think we need an update for the AI, having sheep walking in herds, wolfs attack only when they’re hungry, like the piglings, etc…
Honestly if they made a new minecraft game with a bunch of new futures like Ai, updated dimensions, new bosses, and maybe a new dimension it would be amazing
Yeah, and they could call it the Wild...!
oh wait

Mojang is too much of a coward to make birds drop feathers though

Isn't nether wasteland ?
@@Ccy_yt Honestly though the Nether already kinda gives that wasteland feel though, I find in mods the End feels best when it has a kind of chaotic, Amplified generation style, where the terrain is more dangerous than the mobs.
Nah the End sucks it should look cool and not bland
the end should feel apart from the other worlds like something which players should not be able to enter
i feel like the end should be a twisted version of places that we have seen on our adventures to get there, just something "wrong" about it. like when you play telephone with a friend and it gets to the fourth person and the message is pretty wrong but still the idea is kinda left.

6:55OH MY PCCCC
I think one of the main difficulties with the endupdate is that if they add something they have to make sure it´s still cohesive with the "hidden" minecraft lore
In my opinion, at these point, minecraft lore is an excuse for not working on new heavy updates. I think we need to get the idea of believing in a "non-existent" lore out of the way and work on new things, big things.
@@axtermation5190 sure I wouldnt mind. No one plays minecraft for the lore anyways
This isn’t even a reasonable excuse, just allow it to add on to the lore as if it’s always been there like they’ve literally been doing the last 5 years?
they should add the red dragon they talked about a lot which is a dragon located in ender dragon's egg
The 1.15 didn't just add bees. That wasn't really the point. It is suppossed to also be called the "Bug update" because the code was entirely rewritten to fix a lot of bugs, and bees were added following the joke of "bugs"

Every single time a dimension is mentioned, no 'the' its just 'in overworld, they changed in nether'
There are plenty of updates that Minecraft actually does need and I'd hoped to see them mentioned:
1) The end is too barren and does need more content, but what would a vanilla style end update actually look like?
Either make the hotbar bigger or add new ways to quickly swap out items, like new hotkeys or maybe a tool belt.
and thats why the game is dead. not everything needs to be unique or have purpose. we just want more than the same 2 animals in the forest, or more particles, physics, & sounds. not hard to do at all.
but these mod are just for java and there are no good mods for bedrock so i agree the should add all these things mojang is getting lazy man
Nether 1.16 revamp clearly copies aspects of the overworld.
The 1.15 update was actually a bug update that fixed a lot of bugs. The bees were just an extra

I feel old, in my head I still remember Minecraft before the really scary update 🤣
To me redstone block is one of these new blocks
That's funny, after things get added for me I just start disregarding them and then I find it again and I'm like "Oh my god! When was this weird thingy added?!?"
I remember when they first added color beds and I was so excited
I still feel like the stray is new and I hate the stray
The Buzzy Bee update was small because it was mostly bug fixing update. There was an increasing amount of bugs in the game and 1.14 broke the camel's back. 1.15 was small because the game needed a small update with little features so the devs could focus on bug fixing.
The bug removing update that added a bug
Mojang missed an opportunity in 1.15 to add other bugs besides bees. They could have added Ants, Crickets, Dragonflies, Beetles and more.

*1 year later* hello! we added a camel, a new sign, new wood, new boat that is all! buh bye!
Because it's one of the biggest games off all time and they make A LOT of money so they should be working hard with the updates..
It's also one of the best selling games on earth. They can afford the development time.
Problems with your vision of the End :
- There cannot be water in the End
- I'd rather have end cities updated, villages don't seem to fit in the End
- The end responds to different rules, there is no vegetation, no animals from the overworld (except maybe slimes which can be found in different dimensions)
What’s wrong with water in the end?
Why are you hating on his video? It’s his opinion not yours. Get a life.
There's the slime, and there's the magma. There should be an end version of the slime
@@ArcadeAaron777why r u hating on his comment? Get a life
I agree, and I kinda feel like adding enderite is also a bit too far.
"MINECRAFT: OTHER THINGS."
Truly a substantia, not to be dismissed update idea.
The"fuc it, we ball" update
The next update, like 1.22 or 1.23 should be either "Flora & Fauna" or "Magic & Monsters"
Or, a combination kf the two: "Heirlooms & Herbs"
I'd love a magic or another combat update.
or a Shroom & Bloom Update because mushroom islands don't really have much content

There is a problem with seasons. The only way that they can make them is that they appear only in loaded chunks. In this way a chunk during winter for example, it will start snowing in it
only when you load it
( For obvious reasons you cant make the season in all the world simultaneously)
why not just change textures through time lol.
@@Wutheheooooo You can change the texture but not the falling snow is another thing lol
Yeah it is better to have seasonal themed biomes. It would be easier to implement than seasons as mechanic. And this can mean maple forest, dark oak autumn forest, usual forest autumn version, birch autumn forest... 4 new biomes could be added!

"The End should be like this."
I disagree, while this certainly is beautiful and incredible to behold, this should stay a mod. The End does not need to be "Overworld, but make it alien". (I do think the End desperately needs a new update!)
After watching the rest of the video, I feel this has far too much expectation from Minecraft as a whole.
Should nit be endless cheese at least

One of the simplest solutions to the major Minecraft's updates rather than adding new random features without a theme, they can replace the mob votes with biome votes that get redone each year to make them more realistic with resources being similar to that biome and animals being added that fit. Obviously mob votes are a fail, yet the biome votes might have a better chance at reunifying the minecraft community.
Literally what they did for 1.14 and 1.17. No clue why they stopped doing it cus it's 100 times better than the mob vote has ever been
or making it like the community is designing the mob by voting aspects into it, like is it passive, hostile, or neutral, is it a real animal or not, etc.
Hear hear!
Imo they should at least do an environment update adding more fluff to the biomes and updating old mob models and animations.

nature update gotta be the single best update ever with all that realistic and sublime subtleness of the ambiences
i feel like there are 2 things to consider with the end: first, minecart has its 15 year anniversary next year, so it would be a perfect time to do and end update then and therefore are waiting, and 2: the end is incredibly hard and to update while maintaining the barren nature of it, which in the mods you showcased that update the end is lost. furthermore, the end is a location only a tiny fraction of the community will ever see, making it much less of a priority
I would love the Winter Update most, it would be so cool to build an ice castle.
you (or AI) say that the seasons should not affect the crops. That would not make any sense because the temperature and weather always have an affect on crops and stuff IRL, so it would only make sense if it did. Also at 14:50 this might be weird but it is because Mojang doesn't want to have multiple blocks with the same function, so they won't be adding that
I can't wait to get one of these updates in 10 years
I just watched the previous video about things that should be in miencraft, i didnt watch this one yet, but i want to let you all know that the mobs that lost in mob votes arent gone for ever, this idea to completly delete them was only in the first mob vote. So the mobs like penguin, golems, icologer could be possibly added sooner or later.
Cool
The Vulture could be good too, as an indication of your death location on those biomes, but can steal some of your items.
When he talked about seasons I want the weather to affect the crops don’t make it so that it doesn’t grow but slow it down a lot if it’s left in the outsider so that you have to make green houses to grow quickly in the winter
that would be so cool
That would be a great idea!
It is incredible how the community makes new dimensions and mojang makes… bees.
But the only reason to go to the outer island's is just to get shulker boxes and elytra though....
this is minecraft no one lived in the end it’s not that deep
I like a lot of these suggestions I’ve been seeing. I might as well add
- graphics update that enhances the games lighting
- player/mob animations when you climb ladders, facial animations on villagers and movement animations for both the player and mobs
- colored lights update. It kind of follows the graphics update but we need more colorful light sources
bro got us all hyped for no reason

Currently the end feels dead.
I think the opposite: it should feel dead, as if things used to live here but were killed off. If it was empty it would be boring, but if it used to be alive then you could see lots of cool structures and whatnot, with lots of ores, plants left to thrive without whatever lived there.

The Nature Update:
Adds real life creatures such as Deers and Moose, along with less noticable mobs like Crickets that make ambience at night.
This update would also update the AI of many animals.
Sheeps, Cows, and Horses will all now move around in herds, and if one is attacked they all run.

i agree with an end update, but i really dont like the idea of turning the end to this alive alien planet, i think the end is best when its mysterious and dead looking, i want to see more veriaty but not if takes away from what in my opinion makes the end special and that is the fact it looks like a dead forgotten islands that maybe once had life in it.
not that i dont think mods like better end are good objectively speaking they are, i jsut disagree with the direction and weirdly i think im alone on that fact.
like i definitely want more biomes and mobs in the end, but not ones that look alien and alive, but maybe a dead forest or huge black pilers anything that would give the feel that something used to live in the end as i think thats what makes the vanilla end interesting, also add depth like the null mod, where islands can spawn higher or lower in the world it really makes the islands of the end seem 10 times better with almost no actual new stuff.

A lot of these are good ideas, some of them really should stay relegated to mods and would ruin the MineCraft experience for most players.
Okay so I agree with a lot of this. We need more. Here are 10 updates I think we *definitely* need.
1. Structure and Structures Update
Basically this update would...redesign the weaker structures. So Desert, Jungle Pyramids and Dungeons for example, would be redesigned. New structures would also be added. I really would want a full update dedicated to this.
2. End Update
This one is obvious. The end feels empty. It feels like it doesn't offer much. It's just boring. Whatever they would do to it to make it better, would be worth it.
3. Enemy Update
We need more monsters to fight. Personally, I think new variations of zombies and skeletons would be a great addition. Basically new enemies are needed!
3. Ambience
What the f%&k? Why is there NO ambient sounds? Seriously man? Minecraft feels sooo empty because of this and it makes me mad and disappointed. I seriously hope they add ambience to every biome and dimension.
4. Mob Update
Basically just adding new mobs and overhauling old mobs. Most mobs don't need an overhaul. Some do. Bats are useless and should get some kind of use, even if for decoration. But yes, new mobs too please!
5. Ore Update
New ores, new minerals each with special uses! Seriously man. We need more of this.
6. Crafting Update
This update would add more things to ingredients, blocks and so on. So diamonds would get more uses. Basically more uses to items and other things.
7. Biome Update
So more biomes and overhauls to old biomes. To make all biomes better and to add new ones.
8. Combat Update
They wanted to do another combat update. To balance out things. You can read about that on the fandom. Anyways, we need more weapons, tools and armor but also a more balanced combat system.
9. Enchant Update
I don't care what people say. The Enchanting Table sucks. It needs a better functionality. If you could reroll enchants it would be so much better. We need an update like this.
10. Boss Update
New bosses are sooo needed. The Warden isn't really a boss at all but it's good. But we need actual bosses. Im talking ones who are supposed to be defeated.
Anyways those are some updates I remembered that I really want in the game. What do yall think?
