This video makes you wonder why Minecraft has been out for close to 16 years now and it’s still not a complete game. I still love the game but as a player since 2010 I feel like it’s still closer to the release than a final product.
I feel like mojang shouldn't launch updates this often. The game is perfect but in order to add smth they always add smth shitty. And those who feel it's boring are not playing it the right way. Like you can make builds, bridges and a lot more. Especially, travelling i.e exploring is the best way to live this game.
What do you mean by, "final product"? Minecraft is finished und fully released. All these updates we get are literally FREE dlcs. Other studios offer them to the players for a ton of money. You only have to buy the game once and you get all the following features for free. You don't have to pay extra every 6 or so months only to play with the newest version of the game. So, what do you actually mean?
@@TheVirdrathey aren’t DLCs. They’re additional content to the base game, but they are not removable or opt-in unless you decide to stay on a certain version. The “DLC” aspect only stems from the original Xbox edition because they couldn’t roll out features the same way as PC due to marketplace restrictions, so they classified the updates as DLCs. But in reality, it’s the same thing as a game like Satisfactory. They release updates which are permanent to the game over time so the game slowly grows. It’s not the same as optional zombie maps in COD for example, that’s a DLC.
Yeah, I'd like it so much if they just push updates for another year or two for java and then stop. They could continue with bedrock. But it would be a dream come true if they stopped updating everything and all mods could catch up.
@@TrulySinclair DLC -> "Downloadable Content" which is an addition to the base game. You, as a player can choose which Minecraft version you wanna play. While other companies charge you a ton of money for these, until the point you MUST buy them or the game doesn't work anymore, Mojang is publishing them for free. It is the same. Whether you like it or not. For example, the Sims by EA is charging you at least $5 for minor content updates, such as furniture and clothing, and big content costs round $40 (last time I checked). You really take the argument "Because I don't buy, it's not DLC🤪", as an excuse instead of being grateful that you don't get charged for new content.
I've heard about some leaks, that perhaps the next update might either revolve around seasons, or if not quality of life, where they have been redesigning many things, like ui and perhaps some mobs This could give chance to perhaps see new variants to existing mobs Let's hope atleast.
I think all of these should be added but watered down. The game is meant to be simple but it does need more for it since the only structure most care about is the village since its the only one with actual uses. Stuff from MC dungeons should be added but not to the point it feels modded.
Isn't there a whole ass music kit that is the best companion to your lonely adventure ? Or did they change something so the songs stopped playing on their own ?@@A-Borealis
To be fair, a game only feels modded when the development of mods far outpaces the development of the game. It doesn't necessarily mean that many features that modders added to the game shouldn't be added to to the vanilla version, just that the modding community beat the developer to it. There is a lot of stuff that could be added to Minecraft that I feel never will, simply because mods already do it better. Sadly, I feel like Bedrock was made not because the game needed optimizing (they could have optimized java, i mean mods do it very well) but because they knew they could make more money by making it run on more devices and then capitalizing on mods by taking a cut on the new marketplace.
I approve that Sculk was collectively agreed that it, dispite being so new, needs another it’s own update, and not because it was bad or incomplete, but because it has no much potential.
I don’t understand why mojang doesn’t just communicate with these mod authors and work out some way to just incorporate their mods into an update, so much less work for mojang and they improve their game 10 fold.
@@MKSprite56 Most of the time, Mojang want to do their own concepts, since whatever made by mods is already made by mods. So they would hire someone that aligns with their vision.
There's one block that I've been wanting mojang to add to minecraft. Here's the idea: A block that is made like a stone cutter but the bottom center space is any log of choice instead of a stone block. The block is called the table saw, it is just like a stone cutter, but instead of using it to craft different variants of stone, it is used to make different variants of wood so you can put 1 plank in and be able to craft it into 1 stair just like how the stone cutter works. So pretty much just take the stone cutter and replace stone with wood. 👍👍👍 This block could also be a job block for villages, adding the new lumberjack or carpenter villager job, trades could be smth like emeralds for various types of overworked logs or saplings, maybe higher level trades could be emeralds for axes. Do you think this would be a good addition to minecraft?
One thing that could be cool is if projectiles could be influenced by wind. You could use this to get epic angles on mobs but it could also make the battleground more dangerous. Imagine duking it out with a skeleton in the desert, and a sand storm blows in. Arrows fly around everywhere, getting knocked off path by the relentless wind. A cunning player would aim with the wind, causing the arrow to deal extra damage. Another idea I’ve had is a completely new biomes, along with a few new structures, behaviors, items, and a new mob. The idea is a “dead” biome for the Overworld. Upon entering the dead biome, a dense fog would appear. This fog allows mobs to spawn, even during the day. In this biome, dead trees, dry bushes, and dead grass spawn. Cemeteries also spawn, yielding random loot like iron, sticks, and sometimes emeralds or gold. The main point for going to the dead biome is for the “old castle” structure. This structure is about as big as a woodland mansion, and the interior would be almost the same from a technical standpoint. However, there is a new mob-the vampire. The vampire is menacing, quick, and strong hostile mob and has some cool mechanics. First is that it can become invisible, can teleport short distances, and is pretty fast. It attacks for 2 and a half hearts and has about the same health as an iron golem. Upon defeating the vampire, it drops vampire dust which can be used for a new enchantment I’ll describe later. But beware, once you defeat the vampire, the fight is not over. The vampire has a sort of “spawner” within the old castle. If a vampire were to be defeated, every full moon the vampire would respawn at its coffin which is hidden deep within the castle. With the minor teleportation capabilities of the vampire, the process of finding the coffin will be quite difficult as it may be hidden behind one of the many walls in the old castle. The only way to truly destroy the vampire is by destroying his coffin. Vampire dust can be used with books to make “life steal” enchanted books, with three tiers. Life steal, when put on a sword or axe, will steal the hearts from a mob increasing in stolen hearts with improved tiers. Stolen hearts aren’t granted based on the full damage dealt, but a portion of it. A smaller idea I’ve had is pretty simple. “Deep wood” is wood that spawns on deep slate level and is grayish in color. It is the only wood that can’t be cultivated by way of a sapling, as it acts more like deep, forgotten roots hardened by the heat of the subterranean environment. The basic idea behind this sis to supply cavers with a reliable source of wood if they run out. I know we’ve all gone into caves and ran out of wood, and therefore sticks, crafting tables, torches, etc…
the only reason fireflies didn't get added in my opinion, was because of all of the people who were like "ohhhhh noooooo, CERTAIN fireflies are harmful to CERTAIN frogs" (in real life) "so we shouuuuuldn't add them because it would negatively show unrealistic things"............ like, i understand, but what's stopping the minecraft player right now from taking a fully kitted netherite axe, to the FACE of a villager or baby villager? minecraft is supposed to be unrealistic because its a video game.... i don't understand the logic behind this aspect of not including fireflies and never will, LIKE IF YOU AGREE WITH THIS
Completely disagree. I think there is a distinction between what in minecraft should or should not be realistic. Feeding mobs usually is. I think what would happen is that some kid is going to see that frogs can eat fireflies in minecraft and assume that their pet frog can eat fireflies they find outside, and it turns out that kills the frog. That does not mean they should have been removed. They just needed to make it so that frogs didn't eat them and they were perfectly fine.
@@StarBeam500bro what are you talking about 💀? Your point makes 0 sense, THINK about it, if the parents thought there kid was responsible enough to own a pet FROG outta all the animals he could’ve pick as a pet, don’t you think they wouldn’t already be informed about what the frog can and cannot eat💀? And no kid is just gonna bring there frog outside to eat fireflies just because they see it in a video game 😭 AND YOU CANT JUST WALK OUTSIDE AND SEE FIREFLIES, fireflies are only in certain areas like what…please THINK before typing bro..
@@dj_kingsavagi1619 the way I see it is that one summer night a kid goes outside catching fireflies (we have had fireflies right outside our house all the time, I'm not sure about you) and decides to feed some to his frog as a treat. Kids can be impulsive, so it's possible they do it without consulting their parents or Google. And frogs eat flies and other insects, so you would assume fireflies are on the menu, reinforced if it was in minecraft. I really don't see this as an unlikely thing.

Parts of the game i want to see updated: -Combat update -End update -NPC update - making animals and monsters smarter, with better path finding. Giving more variety (in looks and behavior) to mobs like zombies, cows, pigs, sheep, similarly to horses and rabbits. -Structure update - overhaul of existing structures, monster thematic spawner structures, new procedurally generated structures, implementation of challenges like parkour, traps and redstone contraptions, mini-bosses. More frequent use of mining fatigue like in ocean monument to discourage avoiding challenges. -Alchemy update - there should be a potion for every effect in a game. There should be a less cost effective way of creating tipped arrows before End. There should be a progression - potions that can be made before entering Nether, after entering it, and after conquering End. -Creative mode update - more freedom and tools for creative mode - preferably modeled by Kingbdogz's Orbis Mod -Custom difficulty - when creating a world there should be a list of difficulty settings that change game's mechanics, in a similar way to "Heat" system in Hades. Settings like: "health doesn't regenerate naturally, outside of sleeping and potion effects", "burning is permanent in Nether", "poison effect can kill you", "zombies can destroy doors, and blocks related to the tool they hold", "Spiders shoot webs", "higher chance for a monster to spawn with enchanted gear", "monsters spawning with random positive potion effect" etc.
@@aquilschutte It's not a lot of gameplay, it's just a specific area for a few to couple dozen minutes till you defeat the boss or finish the main puzzle. The problem with getting to mine stuff in a structure is most people just deciding to not bother engaging with the challenges and mining thru walls (look jungle temple puzzle), which isn't fun for neither the player nor the designer.
@Miki_Naz it also aint fun of you are mining close to it and get hit like with monument. And you mention yourself difficultie, to the masochist players they can turn on voluntary mining fatigue
-the biggest thing i’d like as a builder is having every variety of each material & block so i’m not wasting time figuring out what else to put in the missing places. -2nd thing i’d like is adding more colors & designs to the overall palatte so i can see what i can add to builds.

Sometimes I feel like we are the problem, like most of us want mojang to add things like a new demension, a new ore, the mob vote mobs, and when those things are added, we still want more.
@@undynesgaming9462 Nah, i agree with op, also, yes, modders can give you more, but they can give you more because they don't need to worry about public reception, finicial issues, board execs, creative differences, creative direction, statistics, etc etc.
The key issue is they want the game to run fine on all platforms, including low end computers, phones and tablets, if they cut support to the low end, they can start adding and demanding more from machines.
Which they don't want to do, because that would be a huge "fuck you" to the "low end" Minecraft has always been a game for everyone to play, it makes zero sense to turn it into a 700GB ultra gamer PC setup RAM monster
@GrassyHills202 I know, which means splitting the game into versions, which is doable but mojang only work 3 days a year and it's too much work for them.
He mentioned like ten features that are already in bedrock like white leaves in snow, snow will fall and land instead of breaking, snow builds up naturally, water being different in the end (although it still just acts like regular water), emotes, enchantments being displayed without needing to open your inventory, animations for using a spyglass, moving chests and furnaces and stuff with pistons, etc.
The issue i have with potential more beautiful world generation or even structures is that it would be increasingly more difficult to create a special build or landscaping, cause the strucutres will make some builds look mediocre.
Mojang didn't understand what the players really wanted about updates. We don't want quantity, we want quality, something meaningful with a real art direction like Minecraft dungeon. Something that celebrates the community and how we play Minecraft.
My mans really made a video thats essentially, "add the best most downloaded mods to vanilla minecraft" 😂 i love it! The overworld needs ambient music/noises so desperately. And the end dimension needs an overhaul without a doubt
@@kasser1 i feel like ur video REALLY shows how the minecraft modding community knows the player base more than mojang does. And its also feels like the people who work at mojang have just never been on the internet 😂 loved ur video!
Some of the features you were talking about for a winter update like accumulating snowfall, white leaves, and snow going through leaves are in the bedrock edition of minecraft.
I feel like the skulk shouldve been able to infect hostile overworld mobs like zombies skeletons spiders creepers etc and would be able to make them stronger tougher faster and could drop unique loot so we don’t have to just deal with a warden
These ideas are cool, but one thing i would also suggest would be to make thw oceans deeper in real life they can go thousands of metres down. And in minecraft its only like 20 blocks and the occasional deep cave. This would serve a purpose for being able to make bigger ocean builds aswell as a new biome with blocks for the deeper you go, aswell as new creatures.
Totally, some of them are not the type of minecraft vanilla stuff, they Just feel like a total fan idea that is good, but dont feel like minecraft at all I think there are better ways to improve the game ambience
All of these would be great but particularly the nature update would be an issue in terms of performance with all that extra stuff, it wouldn’t be terrible but I think a way to combat this is have it be something u can turn off or on in settings
I just wish for a magic update so badly.. I wish Minecraft would go more into the mystical side of it.. it would nice to be able to fight mobs in ways other than enchanted swords. If they could include scrolls, staffs, wands. Something to have variety when it comes to combat. Imagine wizard trading schools and random trading wizards Random trading wizards offer you more basic but useful spells ex immediate crop growth, fire balls, freeze, wind blowing (knock back), stone throwing, etc. However; wizards schools offer more advanced or upgraded versions of spells. I would say they can add unique variants for different realms, example could be the nether variants offer more damage fire based abilities or a soul steal ability while the end offers better mobility. It would increase a sense of quality of life and give more reason to explore. They could take amethyst and use it to charge the staffs.. and make different charging levels. For the different realms they can have different ores be a charging source or use things like nether wart and end crystals added with the amethyst to create a new charging source for those realms wand. Sorry but FINALLY there can be a special anvil that can combine the wands/ staff that allows you to do more than one spell. I think if they put the staff on the offhand and you have the scrolls in the inventory it would make it easier to switch spells without overly complicating things. Thank you to whoever read it.
This is why people add mods to use. Like one of my favorites is the dynamic trees mod. I usually just use that to make trees more natural. They do need an end update. Everytime they updating, I keep hoping for end update but that's just being put off to some other ideas they had from earlier updates they wanted to include.
i recomend Nature's Spirit for an overworld overhaul, it adds high quality realistic bioes with an awesome big variety of content, and naturalism for mobs :)
I enjoyed this video, I'll admit, but I have a couple of critiques. I think the idea of a revamping Minecraft in certain aspects is a good thing, such as the proposed nature update, sound update, some aspects of the End update and desert update. However I feel like a lot of the rest of this video (and others like it) miss the point of vanilla Minecraft. The base game is meant to be a TEMPLATE, that is why the modding community of Minecraft is so active and plentiful, because it explicitly caters to them and implores them to add features that otherwise would not be in the base game. Vanilla Minecraft is meant to be stripped down and basic to allow for full creative freedom, it doesn't need new dimensions or overly difficult bosses - that's the job of modding - adding things like this takes away from Minecraft's nature as a sandbox game because it limits creativity. If this was just a mod I wouldn't be against it in the slightest, but I do not think this has a place in the base game. Instead of putting your vision on the template and making others work around it, we should be expanding the template - creating a broader canvas for the Minecraft player to experiment with. Minecraft doesn't need a driving vision behind its gameplay because that simply isn't the point, the point is to create an environment for a player to shape, the player to impose their personal vision upon the game; using the canvas before them.
This is correct, although not everyone can or wants to download mods, I wish there was a way for consoles to download mods that are FREE instead of everything having to be bought.
Ambient sound is probably one of my favorite things that games use to immerse you. In fact, I’m surprised that more ambient noise wasn’t added over the years, especially when they added the Deep Dark biome
VILLAGE UPDATE: Part One: Villages begin small in the beginning of worlds. As time goes on the villagers gather resources of their respective job, and build to expand the village. Eventually, the village becomes a kingdom/fortress, and settler villagers leave to start other villages nearby. With this update, villages should be more rare. Part Two: Also, there should be 3 new villagers: Guard Villagers, who use Swords, Shields, and bows, and wear armor; the quality would scale with the size of the village/kingdom. These villagers could be hired to follow the player and aid them in battle, or man a position for so many days, depending on how many emeralds they were paid. Next, Chief/King Villagers. The "Leader", of the villagers, who has a special house/palace, and will give orders to the other villagers. The King villager will have unique trades/quests for players to accept. If the leader dies, then the village will no longer continue to expand, but instead become an abandoned village. Lastly, the Wizard Villager, who can shoot fireballs, use potions, and summon iron golems. The Wizard villager could potentially trade a fireball staff, among other enchanted and magical items. Part Three: The village structures would also be updated, and vary depending on biome. Also, each village will have a custom randomized banner pattern as a flag. Lastly, there should also be girl villagers and other races.
Got another idea as soon as I posted this. Part 4: Bandits/Bounties If you kill a villager, and it was witnessed, that villager will tell a guard, who will then tell other guards and eventually the chief. Those who know about your murder will seek to avoid you, and guards will attack you on sight. Maybe there can be a way to earn back their trust. Next, Bandits: Packs of rogue villagers who roam within 100-300 blocks of villages. They will attack nearby players, mobs, and other villagers. They will come in packs of 3-5 depending on your difficulty.
You are very right about the sound being important. I also noticed that recently, it's just so quiet in the overworld. Of course sometimes a nostalgic song comes up, but setting the mood for each biome i necessary imo :))
While all these ideas would improve how Minecraft works and would improve the playability and diversity I think you forget that Minecraft is not supposed to be realistic it is supposed to be a Sandbox game where you can do almost anything
I agree that everything you said needs to be updated, but mostly everything you said can be made in bedrock, isn't very "minecraft", goes against what the developers said they would do (like new dimensions), and just makes the game more complicated. when there are other things already in minecraft that could do that exact same thing the exact way you described it too. But yes variants of EVERY mob should be added. but the end having it's own ore and stuff. if you want to play modded minecraft go play with mods don't try to change vanilla too much.
Dude your amazing yes I agree Minecraft needs a huge update it's been the same since and your right I needs all of these things you mentioned your an amazing RUclipsr you have. Earned your self a new subscriber
I siad that the first update would not be just one full update but one that add this stuff over time like a desert update or a forest update so that features aren't rushed
i think mojang should stop with the "we dont want to add things that mods already add" thing like bro mods are there cuz people think the features they add are lackin in the main game like we dont need something completely different and original all the time it will be good enough if some of the mods that are already popular get integrated into the game, notch did that a lot idk why they stoppoed with that
@waxedexposedcutcopper yea thats what im sayin they should just add what people want instead of trying their hardest to make original content dont get me wrong original is cool but look at the end its empty and a lot of mods to change that already exist but still it doesnt mean people dont want an end update its actually one of the most requested updates now what mojang should do is look at some of the most popular mods and do what these mods do better/their way
I think the Desert Update should also come with a scarf for the sand storms, as they would slowly choke the player from all of the blowing sand. Maybe even partially blind the player as sand gets in their eyes if we really want to lean into this. Scarves would help with this
Something I think people forget about Minecraft is what kind of game it is supposed to be. Minecraft, at its heart, is a sandbox game with some survival elements. I think Mojang, though inconsistent, does a pretty great job at expanding the sandbox elements of Minecraft to allow for the survival mode to be as customizable as it can be for vanilla Minecraft. I agree with the Mob and Sound additions here but I think doing things like complete biome overhauls take away from what Minecraft is as a game.
Im glad people still care so much about the game. I agree heavily with most of the nature update, especially with the ambience sounds. I noticed in the nether it brings so much life to the dimension even if youre under ground the whole time! And some wild animals wouldnt hurt. Some more sea creatures aswell because the ocean feels so empty. I think they are teasing a portal otherwise I dont think they wouldve added it; but you never know how long it will take.
I feel like the reason this game has such potential is because it's still being built and is so easy to modify to the users content with the help of mods this is why this game has such potential in being amazing and they don't do anything so drastic that it changes the game completely and making it so more popular mods are just in the base game and making it so people don't have as much a choice in how they get to experience the game
I would love it if they did something like this, pushed updates for another year or two. And after that stopping developing and leaving the product be. Atleast on Java, since the modding scene is so big, but it is hard to do any longer worlds on one since they keep adding new updates all the time. I feel with an end overhaul, some QOL stuff and better inventory management it is quite a finished product. Not much more needed imo, and it would be a dream for both modders & people who play modded to finally not have to worry about new releases.
Not all players will download mod, and to be honest, most of them is a novelty that will get bored afterward. There is also some extremely outdated things needing an overhaul. I think a lot of modders have stayed in 1.12, it’s just a more pure version that let player focus on the mod itself, not the new vanilla content.
@@QnjtGWonQNqVsbYyzjx4minecraft updates should be end on the 1.50 or 2.0, because they will add so much things, in some years the game will be another
Yes! Please :) so many fantastic ideas :) I'd also love to have a bit more usage for copper :) and maybe the possibility to craft jewlry like bracelets or amulets that would give an additional use for gold and all those gems. which could give additional bonusses :)
Honestly if Minecraft did a whole update where the only thing they changed was the sound ambiance I would be thrilled. I've played mods with added ambiance and it's incredible how much more immersive it is.
In fact, I have already shown 95% of what I wanted, maybe there is still jungle update, but except for the monkeys and jungle village there is nothing else to add, it may be necessary to rework completely the generation in this biome, but that's another topic
I have played Terralith a mod that adds 95+ new biomes and my main problem with it is that it doesn’t really feel like Minecraft, I finally understand what people mean when the game changes too much
I’ve been patiently waiting for a full-on end update since 1.10 and when the community finally started agreeing with me in like 1.19-ish, I felt like I was finally getting somewhere. I’ve stopped playing Minecraft several months ago, I’m just growing up ig. If an end update is ever released though, I’ll play at least for a few more months to fully experience it.
I think the best thing would to turn the End into a literal souls-like filled with hard PvE content, and only the End. The Dragon wouldn't change, and would be a sort of tutorial boss in terms of difficulty. As you open the End City gate, you are actually brought to an infested, wiped-out city with threats around every corner. You are desperate, and run towards the buildings and find a variety of new materials, seemingly trash in this world, but powerful to you. Once you flee the overpowering city, you start over the Minecraft cycle and learn a whole new game again, but more complex and challenging. If you were a master of the Overworld, you are merely an apprentice. The City seems to be the Ultimate Challenge, but the true challenge is the generated structures that have bosses that you can fight in any order you may wish, with the entirety of this dimension being optional as well. You don't have to grind out this new world, but the effort, the loot, and the experience would all be worth it. And once you've cleaned the city and freed it corruption, only then will the End seem like an empty wasteland, just for you to do to it again and again, adding more modifiers and difficulty. There is too much potential with the End, only for it to be a disappointment and just an unsatisfying end. There should never be an end to a infinite sandbox, but mystery and curiosity.

The community was more hyped to see things that got added in snapchot and was not announced like resin and the flowers
That is totally sad.
the lack of mob variants hurts so much
I've heard about some leaks, that perhaps the next update might either revolve around seasons, or if not quality of life, where they have been redesigning many things, like ui and perhaps some mobs
This could give chance to perhaps see new variants to existing mobs
Let's hope atleast.
You're in luck lmao
You get cold and warm pig, hopefully they do some more but I’m not sure what they cooking with this update
We got 2 pig variants!
@@PixelNomad99 that’s nice but I want a new boss 😢
I think all of these should be added but watered down.
The game is meant to be simple but it does need more for it since the only structure most care about is the village since its the only one with actual uses.
Stuff from MC dungeons should be added but not to the point it feels modded.
I would say ambience it's a must add
@sergiogd7418 100%, the game feels a little too lonely at times lmao.

@@mateuszkrytyk5711 i feel like they changed something some time ago, because i feel like. the songs only play every like 30 minutes
Now we need "All updates we need, full movie"😂
And more hypothetical ideas for updates (in form of mods or not and just by explanation, i choose both)
I really just want a total foliage update. I just want tons of plant variations
I don’t understand why mojang doesn’t just communicate with these mod authors and work out some way to just incorporate their mods into an update, so much less work for mojang and they improve their game 10 fold.
yeah thats strange
like how they hired the Aether and Carpet devs?
@@ratlinggull2223 Well, now that you mention it, since they did it before, can't they just do it again?
They did that with horses i think
@@MKSprite56 Most of the time, Mojang want to do their own concepts, since whatever made by mods is already made by mods. So they would hire someone that aligns with their vision.
There's one block that I've been wanting mojang to add to minecraft. Here's the idea:
A block that is made like a stone cutter but the bottom center space is any log of choice instead of a stone block.
This block could also be a job block for villages, adding the new lumberjack or carpenter villager job, trades could be smth like emeralds for various types of overworked logs or saplings, maybe higher level trades could be emeralds for axes.
Love the Dead Biome Idea
God bless the modding community for providing what Mojang won't.
Its honestly just microsoft. They want universal parity

the only reason fireflies didn't get added in my opinion, was because of all of the people who were like "ohhhhh noooooo, CERTAIN fireflies are harmful to CERTAIN frogs" (in real life) "so we shouuuuuldn't add them because it would negatively show unrealistic things"............ like, i understand, but what's stopping the minecraft player right now from taking a fully kitted netherite axe, to the FACE of a villager or baby villager? minecraft is supposed to be unrealistic because its a video game.... i don't understand the logic behind this aspect of not including fireflies and never will, LIKE IF YOU AGREE WITH THIS
Completely disagree.
Literally they have the poison to parrots in the game but won't add fireflies because they're poisonous to frogs....ffs they're dumb

Parts of the game i want to see updated:
-Combat update
-End update
-NPC update - making animals and monsters smarter, with better path finding.
-Creative mode update - more freedom and tools for creative mode - preferably modeled by Kingbdogz's Orbis Mod
-Custom difficulty - when creating a world there should be a list of difficulty settings that change game's mechanics, in a similar way to "Heat" system in Hades.
Most people hate mining fatigue, its not fun at all to not mine for a lot of the gameplay in MINEcraft
Meehhh bro, so much things will made minecraft not being minecraft, i agree with npc update (i think) mods can made that thins that you say
Combat is fine except for shields. 😂
-the biggest thing i’d like as a builder is having every variety of each material & block so i’m not wasting time figuring out what else to put in the missing places.
-2nd thing i’d like is adding more colors & designs to the overall palatte so i can see what i can add to builds.
I personally think the addition of monkeys to jungle biomes would be cool
The end update needs a portal that you can craft with resources found in the end, because walking to the end portal each time is a hell of a hassle.

Which they don't want to do, because that would be a huge "fuck you" to the "low end"
Minecraft has always been a game for everyone to play, it makes zero sense to turn it into a 700GB ultra gamer PC setup RAM monster
more than half the playerbase plays on low end devices , this means , A HUGE HUGE lost of capital for mojang
@GrassyHills202 I know, which means splitting the game into versions, which is doable but mojang only work 3 days a year and it's too much work for them.
@@TheReecesl94 that's too much work for anyone honestly, it really just wouldn't be worth it.

Mojang didn't understand what the players really wanted about updates. We don't want quantity, we want quality, something meaningful with a real art direction like Minecraft dungeon.
Something that celebrates the community and how we play Minecraft.

Some of the features you were talking about for a winter update like accumulating snowfall, white leaves, and snow going through leaves are in the bedrock edition of minecraft.
Yeah, java lose noooo 😩✊ (i play java pls no hate)
You should 47:46 turn this into a modpack

I concur
In bedrock, snow falls and doesnt disappear and leaves are white already, they should add it to java
I just good updates that don't just add new stuff but rework old underwhelming stuff, like a fishing, farming, and end update
Yeah, update what already are in the game, perhaps adding something
These are some great ideas, but I think we need to do an update to optimize minecraft first.
I can already smell the burning plastic from my computer.
This would serve a purpose for being able to make bigger ocean builds aswell as a new biome with blocks for the deeper you go, aswell as new creatures.
i think some of these ideas are good but a lot of them stray away from the core of minecraft which is simplicity

All of these would be great but particularly the nature update would be an issue in terms of performance with all that extra stuff, it wouldn’t be terrible but I think a way to combat this is have it be something u can turn off or on in settings
Like OptiFine
I just wish for a magic update so badly.. I wish Minecraft would go more into the mystical side of it.. it would nice to be able to fight mobs in ways other than enchanted swords.
If they could include scrolls, staffs, wands. Something to have variety when it comes to combat.
Imagine wizard trading schools and random trading wizards
Random trading wizards offer you more basic but useful spells ex immediate crop growth, fire balls, freeze, wind blowing (knock back), stone throwing, etc.
Thank you to whoever read it.
maybe just…place two different slabs on top of eachother?? please?
this is basically saying “yeah all of these mods should be in the base game”
"that mods should be in the base game, but mojang do not want to work so the modeers made the job" aahh moment
I like how the start of the winter update is basically just bedrock edition
All of your ideas outside of the other stuff section are great! But most of the stuff in the other stuff section feels unnecessary.
8:16 i guess they listened
This is why people add mods to use. Like one of my favorites is the dynamic trees mod. I usually just use that to make trees more natural. They do need an end update. Everytime they updating, I keep hoping for end update but that's just being put off to some other ideas they had from earlier updates they wanted to include.
i recomend Nature's Spirit for an overworld overhaul, it adds high quality realistic bioes with an awesome big variety of content, and naturalism for mobs :)
oh, where you been before?
Completely agree
absolutely correct
Fully agreed, I especially do not want more complicated and difficult bosses, as I just want my casual fun game
This is correct, although not everyone can or wants to download mods, I wish there was a way for consoles to download mods that are FREE instead of everything having to be bought.
Is this an sì voice over am I insane
Ambient sound is probably one of my favorite things that games use to immerse you. In fact, I’m surprised that more ambient noise wasn’t added over the years, especially when they added the Deep Dark biome
VILLAGE UPDATE:
Part One: Villages begin small in the beginning of worlds. As time goes on the villagers gather resources of their respective job, and build to expand the village. Eventually, the village becomes a kingdom/fortress, and settler villagers leave to start other villages nearby. With this update, villages should be more rare.
Part Two: Also, there should be 3 new villagers:
Guard Villagers, who use Swords, Shields, and bows, and wear armor; the quality would scale with the size of the village/kingdom.
Part Three:
The village structures would also be updated, and vary depending on biome. Also, each village will have a custom randomized banner pattern as a flag. Lastly, there should also be girl villagers and other races.
Got another idea as soon as I posted this.
Part 4: Bandits/Bounties
If you kill a villager, and it was witnessed, that villager will tell a guard, who will then tell other guards and eventually the chief.
These types of videos always relax me for some reasons

But yes variants of EVERY mob should be added. but the end having it's own ore and stuff. if you want to play modded minecraft go play with mods don't try to change vanilla too much.
i cant find the words to say how amazing most of the things are
Thank you so much for making this video. I agree with every upadate, but I think the end one is for sure the massive upadate that minecraft need

Shit's so fancy I need a second monocle.
I siad that the first update would not be just one full update but one that add this stuff over time like a desert update or a forest update so that features aren't rushed
These were amazing ideas and I hope mojang sees this. Even if we just got updated slabs I would be happy.
i think mojang should stop with the "we dont want to add things that mods already add" thing like bro mods are there cuz people think the features they add are lackin in the main game
like we dont need something completely different and original all the time it will be good enough if some of the mods that are already popular get integrated into the game, notch did that a lot idk why they stoppoed with that
Weren’t horses, raids, hoppers, ender chests, shulker boxes, different types of stone, nether biomes, and a few other things originally mods?
@waxedexposedcutcopper yea thats what im sayin they should just add what people want instead of trying their hardest to make original content
dont get me wrong original is cool but look at the end its empty and a lot of mods to change that already exist but still it doesnt mean people dont want an end update its actually one of the most requested updates now
what mojang should do is look at some of the most popular mods and do what these mods do better/their way
an amazing end update would lowkey save minecraft now just like nether update did
I think the Desert Update should also come with a scarf for the sand storms, as they would slowly choke the player from all of the blowing sand. Maybe even partially blind the player as sand gets in their eyes if we really want to lean into this. Scarves would help with this
That cloud mod is incredibly cool, but flying through it triggers some weird fear in me I've never felt before and I don't like it.
For the winter update, there should also be some sort of dungeon or structure added to wintry landscapes. Ice palaces?
Mojang better be taking notes from this video
@@QnjtGWonQNqVsbYyzjx4minecraft updates should be end on the 1.50 or 2.0, because they will add so much things, in some years the game will be another
your ideas are crazy good❤
These aren't his ideas, tho??
This is so perfect, why can’t mojang just do this😭😭
Yes! Please :) so many fantastic ideas :)
I'd also love to have a bit more usage for copper :)
and maybe the possibility to craft jewlry like bracelets or amulets that would give an additional use for gold and all those gems. which could give additional bonusses :)
15:16 Birthday Christmas?
I was about to ask the same thing, I think he uses AI for the subtitles.
@michaelpatrick1121 I think yes
I spotted that too haha
Honestly if Minecraft did a whole update where the only thing they changed was the sound ambiance I would be thrilled. I've played mods with added ambiance and it's incredible how much more immersive it is.
The new End Boss idea is Sick, but I don't Think mojang will go that far with any update, ever.
Are you going to make a part two of all the updates that we need video?
In fact, I have already shown 95% of what I wanted, maybe there is still jungle update, but except for the monkeys and jungle village there is nothing else to add, it may be necessary to rework completely the generation in this biome, but that's another topic
nice atmosphare and sounds!
Bro wants minecraft 2
I have played Terralith a mod that adds 95+ new biomes and my main problem with it is that it doesn’t really feel like Minecraft, I finally understand what people mean when the game changes too much
Im going to be in my late 60's by the time half ofbthese ideas get added.
😂
