I have the og Montabaco as well as Intensivo. They are incredibly similar, but intensivo's dry down is just slightly better to me. Very redundant for me to have both honestly
No doubt the entire Mont lineup, top to bottom is incredibly well done...as is most from Ormonde Jayne. For me though, my favorite is CUBA from the newest trio that was released earlier this year. Extremely versatile, Montabaco DNA, and really shines on summer nights. A Mandarin Jasmin Juniper Ambergris stunner. PLEASE get your nose it, review or no review. You'll love it.🎼

Quick question for people who own this fragrance as I got a sample and trying to figure out if it’s full bottle worthy? Does anybody else get a “off mosquito repellent” kind of vibe with the dry down? Somebody who knows fragrances explain what that note might be or what I’m actually smelling… It could be the tobacco and I’m just misinterpreting the scent…. I appreciate any guidance on that and if anybody else has noticed that as well…
I don’t think you need to worry about misinterpreting-either your brain likes the information your nose is giving it, or it doesn’t! It’s ok if it doesn’t smell pleasant to you. Maybe revisiting it in a few months to a year will help. But then again, maybe it won’t! And that is still ok 👌🏾

Got 5ml sample. First day I was nooo,second also but 3 etc I couldn't stop smelling it. It was a little hard to find but finally 88ml new bottle. Signature scent! Second in my small but chosen collection.

You could say that Tygar smells like this without a tobacco note since Montabaco Intensivo came out a few years before Tygar!
