Great video ❤️ I own Tolu and took advantage of the self selected travel pack of 10ml sprays from OJ. My fav scent is Nawabh of Oud. It was the first I tried and he’s stolen my heart. I also adore Indus, Damask and Frangipani - though I really enjoy so many. Fantastic house. Love the airy, stain glass-like sheerness and clarity of their scents.

I got samples because you mentioned Levant previously. Beautiful, but the laundry detergent type musk can be strong for me. I tried Champaca and was in love. Such a great house. Tangier, Babylonia, Damask, are all beautiful too. Its hard to choose just one from Ormande Jayne.

I discovered Ambre Royal in Harrods years ago! Was a best kept secret, and boy is it a head turner. You just cannot explain how good it is.
I’d like to point out that a lot of Ormonde Jayne scents have a sweetness to them, if that matters for you. Even the supposedly herbal, woody god Ormonde Man was quite sweet, which is not what I was expecting when I got my hands on my sample a while back.
I like Levant. Remind me so much of Ex Nihilo perfume as far as softness of the opening. Great summer scent.
I especially appreciate how Ormonde Jayne fragrances contain no pthalates. Levant is the one fragrance in my collection out of too many that I've made the biggest dent in. I know I will finish every last drop, so I will totally be getting another one. But I now want to try at least four others and need to practice self control!

I had the pleasure of meeting Linda last week in Montréal. I went with the conviction to get Levant, and it didn't work for me, but I got Xian and 10ml of Vanille des Afrique just fantastic. Thanks, Josephine, for your fantastic reviews, I got these fantastic fragrances.

I adore Ormonde Jayne and I wish I had access to a store but living in the Caribbean, we are limited in that sense, also there are really no seasons, just warm, hot, hotter and always humid lol. My favorites from the brand are Vanille d'Iris, Tsarina Extrait, Levant, Sakura & Frangipani. I do want to try Ta'if & Byzance soon. Also, I heard there may be a Levant Extrait, I will definitely want that.

I ordered a couple of bottles of ‘Montobacco’ hair mist & was kindly sent some samples of Levant, Champaca, Qi, Frangipani. I really liked Levant & Champaca! (Which surprised me, because typically I usually am drawn to only ‘woody’ scents)
I missed out on buying ‘Vanille d’ Iris when it was on a heavy discount a while ago 🙁..simply because I had not smelt it before and didn’t want to risk a ‘blind buy’ …I hope this perfume is produced again 🤞

Love Ormonde Jayne and have Woman but also want Man. Ambre Royal, Nawab of Oudh are really great and sexy perfumes. I also cherish Ta’if as a special one, I spray it just a little because then I feel the magic.

I can’t recommend Damask, it smells like a very mature rose 🥀. Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep it for myself. It was a huge disappointment. Levant, on the contrary, is a lively scent that brightens up the mood. Champaca is a perfect choice for the spring/summer.

Josephine, you are like my perfume friend that I didn't think I needed. We have similar tastes in fashion, beauty, chic choices and fragrances. This isn't the first time I am writing to you, given I have bought so many of your recommendations. Besides Levant, could you suggest one more fragrance from OJ, spring summer/ year around appropriate, kind of a unique signature scent if you will. I like roses, floral, fruity and just venturing into woody scents but nothing too overpowering. Femme fatale with a croquettish grin and tender heart. TIA
